What happened to this product?
-05.10.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, stongly scented
I have purchased this each Spring the past few years to use Spring/Summer as a lighter nighttime cream, so my last purchase was exactly a year ago from this year's purchase with same item#. I used to love this product. I do not remember it containing Meadowsweet and Honey Extracts and it definitely did not have a heavy, perfume scent. Now it does. This not only irritated my sense of smell, but also my skin. I had to return this smelly version and go back to my winter product Murad Hydro-Dynamic™ Ultimate Moisture. Now I am in search of a new summertime, night cream. Why did you mess with a good thing, Murad?

Another great Murad product
-04.30.13
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
I have been using Murad's day moisturizer (the essential c- environmental shield) for a few years now and for some reason I never used any of their night moisturizers. When my last night cream was discontinued I tried this one. I have never had any complaints about the daytime one and this one so far is just as great. It is a little heavier than the daytime but you don't need much. It has a subtle citrus smell which is nice and not overpowering at all. I have dry to normal skin and I wake up with smooth, soft skin. It's not greasy either. I have only been using this for a week or two, but so far I am very pleased.

Hydration just right
-12.05.12
Really wanted this to be the end of my search for a moisturizer. It smelled like a creamsicle and aborbed 100% into my skin, leaving a perfectly matte finish, prefect for bed or going out. Sadly, it broke me out so had to take it back.

Quick Take: worth the price
I normally use the Murad Resurgence night cream, but thought I would try this to save some money. It's moisturizing and has a nice citrus scent that is not overwhelming. It doesn't go on greasy, but in the morning I have a little greasy feeling. It's not too bad. My face feels very soft and hydrated. I would buy this again, but I do prefer the Resurgence Night Cream.

I haven't used this night cream for very long. However, it applies easily and isn't greasy at all. So far so good.

Best Night Cream So Far
-11.28.11
Quick Take: non-oily, moisturizing, light
I have normal skin, but when I wear a night cream that is too thick or too moisturizing, I wake up with greasy, shiny skin. I usually use serums, but in the winter or when my skin is dry, they aren't moisturizing enough. The Murad night cream is moisturizing, but light enough that I wake up with smooth, hydrated and non-greasy skin. A bit pricey, but I will continue to use.

Got Milk?
-01.27.11
Quick Take: moisturizing
Disappointed with my new tube of Murad Perfecting Night Cream.
The consistency seems to be changed -- now thin and runny. No longer a cream, but more a milk -- make that skim milk.
Also have not noticed the results, i.e., benefits of the product, which I did before.
What's the go? Has Murad reformulated this now less-than-perfect product?

New fave!
-12.20.10
Quick Take: moisturizing
I've been struggling to find a night time lotion that is effective. I have adult acne and have used Murad's Perfecting Lotion for years and love it, but stayed away from the nighttime version because of the word "cream". Well, I was silly. It's a really lovely lotion that feels great on. It does have a slight oily finish, but it isn't overwhelming. On dry days, I even use a little bit mixed in with the daily Perfecting Lotion. It's a great product. Murad (and Sephora) have never disappointed.

This is the first night cream i have used . I feel it is just right. Never oily. I am fully satisfied and will purchase this product again. My skin has tendencies to be oily when I wake up but with this, i do not have that problem. I wake up with bright, healthy looking skin.

Murad Night Cream
-05.27.10
Quick Take: moisturizing
2nd product from the Murad line, So far, I like this night cream. I wake up and my face feels smooth, not greasy.
I will see after a couple of more weeks if it improves my skin texture. I am 55 and my skin is not overly wrinkle. I want to keep the fine lines away.

Good, but..
-04.06.10
Quick Take: moisturizing
Since my dermatologist told me to use products that are rich in antioxidants including vitamin C, I've been using Murad's "Essential-C Night Moisture". However, I am always on the lookout for new and better products so I thought I'd give the "Perfecting Night Cream" a try. I used it at bedtime and in the mornings it had made my skin feel very soft and definitely hydrated. Unfortunately, since I have very oily skin the heavy consistency of this cream made me start to break out. With the "Essential-C" my fine lines seemed to be less noticeable because it has age-fighting ingredients including the antioxidants my skin needs to repair damage. And with its lightweight texture "Essential-C" moisturizer does not clog my pores or cause breakouts. So even though the “Perfecting Night Cream" was a good cream, I am planning to stick with the “Essential-C” since it works better with my oily and acne-prone skin.
