Hoping this works

I needed a light moisturizer & I found this one in my bag of samples- it's a deluxe sample so I hope it works for me. I have very oily skin & this is supposed to have great ingredients- we'll see. Just used it tonight for the first time & I'm going to try it during the day under makeup. I'm currently using Sephora's mattifying lotion with spf & it's working for me so far. I need an oil free, paraben free lotion that performs miracles!!!! Too much to ask for!?

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
I use this after my cleanser and spot serum before bed, this line of products have helped my complexion and helped my cystic acne...not greasy or heavy at all!

Nice Moisturizer, Didn't Help My Acne

I bought this moisturizer to try to subdue my acne after reading great reviews about it, and while I liked how soft and smooth it kept my skin, I saw no noticeable difference in my acne. It smells lovely, you don't need much to cover your entire face, and it absorbs so quickly. I think this is the perfect moisturizer for someone with oily skin, but it certainly did not solve my acne problems.

Quick Take: light, non-greasy, this product prevents breakouts, use twice daily for great results
I can't say enough good things about this product by Murad. I am always an "acne skeptic", but this will change the way your skin behaves. I have used it faithully now for four months and have had maybe 2-3 breakouts, comapared to the monthly breakouts I experienced before. I was an esthetician for 10 years and have never found anything that actually worked for my skin before. I have notice "slight" pigmentation lightening, but it doesn't do anything for acne scars. You will not be disappointed with this product!!!

I write a lot of reviews but it is rare that i give 5 stars...and I am in love with this moisturizer! I have tried so many and this is the best!! It's lightweight and super hydrating at the same time, feels so good and creamy on your skin. I have occasional breakouts and this has not caused any problems for me...and I think this has really improved my skins overall appearance!
*my last moisturizer was bare minerals for combo skin which is good but this one is GREAT

Still waiting to evaluate long term use

I like this moisturizer so far but I'm still evaluating how I feel about its effect on my skin for long term use. I've been breaking out somewhat more since starting to use it but it's hard to tell if that's due to me sweating more as the weather warms up or if it's related to trying a new face wash as well. This moisturizer works pretty well under makeup if you give it about 10 minutes to fully absorb, but I find that once I start to get warm or oily later in the day that this doesn't do a very good job of controlling oil at that point. Although I've yet to find a moisturizer that really does a good job of that under makeup, on top of oily skin, in warm weather. So you might have to just evaluate it for yourself.

I have a dry combination skin, dry cheeks and slightly oily t-zone (due to lack of water)~ I used this only for my t-zone~ Doesn't cause my skin too dry and doesn't make the problem of acne worse~ It also does hydrates my t-zone but other products could done a better job~

Flawless skin

Quick Take: hydrating
This is my favorite facial moisturizer. I've been using it for years. Tried to switch to an organic grocery store brand and had to come back to the Murad. Within a week my skin was more clear, and one bottle lasts a long time even with daily use.

This is by far the best face lotion I've used. Moisturizes without drying out or making my face oily. Skin has definitely started to even out and I've had no breakouts since!

I started having problems with acne as an adult which has resulted in nasty scars and I still get breakouts. My skin also gets oily bu it is very sensitive and I can't handle most of the acne and oily skin solutions. This controls the oil, absorbs fast, doesn't "sit" on my skin, and has helped my skin heal and look so much better. When you use it after the Murad oil control toner the results are even better. The only thing you might not like is the smell. It smells like fresh dill, which isn't a great smell for a face lotion but with all the benefits it is so worth it.

The entire line of Murad's Anti-aging Acne Control products is amazing. My skin is difficult. Acne prone, combination, and needs anti-aging stuff also. This product, the matching cleanser and day moisturizer as well as the serum are all amazing products. Suits my skin type and does what it says it'll do!

This product is pretty fabulous; I've been using it for 1.5 months now, & even my esthetician has noticed the results. I am pretty sure my pores appear smaller, as I've been told so. The biggest plus for me, is that it has evened out my skin tone, which isn't even why I purchased it, but have been pleasantly surprised! Buy this product if you have problematic skin!

I have skin that tends to get dry around my nose and eyes during the harsh winter weather. My go-to moisturizer had been Clinique's Dramatically Different lotion; however, this winter it was unable to take care of the dryness.
Stumbled across Murad's Skin perfecting lotion in my sister's bathroom and after a single application I could see a difference. The skin under my eyes was much more smooth and not flaking. Will be purchasing my own tube.
Very moisture-rich without feeling heavy. Absorbs quickly with no residue.
