Great kit! Highly recommend!

I bought this kit about 2 years ago after reading an article about the dangers with nail salon tools. Immediately panicked, I found this and promptly ordered. They have held up nicely over the years and I take them with me ever trip to the nail salon. I agree with one of the other reviews, the plastic bag breaks quickly. I bought one of those zippers mesh bags and it fits everything plus 3 bottles of polish. Also, just buy some orange sticks and a nail scoop to supplement.

Quick Take: quality, affordable
Well I'll discuss the positives first. The metal instruments are wonderful. The clippers are easily controlled and give a nice clean cut. The cuticle clippers are great, make it a snap to keep your cuticles trimmed. The pusher is very sharp; it means business. The nail file and toe separators are fine. I have issues with the pumice stone and the nail buffer. The pumice stone feels like its going to snap in half, and the buffer scratched my nails horribly. But overall, I love the product and would recommend it to friends.

Not your typical..

This is a great kit. It isn't your typical cheap feeling manicure kit. It feels professional and is easy to use. I do my toenails myself instead of paying for a pedi sometimes, and it does the trick. Almost just as good minus the relaxation! This would make a good gift too!

Quick Take: good value, most complete i've seen
This is a great mani/pedi kit. Has everything but the nail "scoop". Really love the pumic stone, has a fine grit and does a neat, gentle job. Would recommend this as a good buy, especially for the $.

Quick Take: convenient
I heard a radio show talking about the dangers of hepatitis and how you can get this at a nail salon simply using a file and it prompted me to go get one of these kits- I loved it so much that I got my sister one and the girls that do my nails alwasy ask where I got it. The only thing is the bag it comes in had to be replaced and I wish this would include an orange stick as well.

I purchased this set for my mother. I was going to give it to her for Christmas but decided to give it to her ahead of time because she needed it. Unfortunately she has apparently forgotten how to use it due to Alzheimer. But I will be using it for her. It is also handy to take to the spa just to ensure clean tools. It is a good value and will be used a lot.
