This is the ONLY lip balm I'll wear and I've tried them all. I always go back to this. It's inexpensive, smells nice and can be used in place of lip gloss altogether, or adds moisture on top of regular lipstick.

I love rosebud even my Brother is hooked. We use it for our lips, cuticles, elbows everywhere. I love it!
I've been using this stuff for years. It smells good and feels good. It gives your lips a lovely shine with true moisture. I keep one next to my bed, in my purse, in my car... I've even used it on my son's chapped skin. It's been around forever for a reason!

I delve into the pot because I ran out of my Burt's Bee Cuticle Butter and was pleasantly surprised. My lips are content which is not that tall an order but my nails have never looked better. It performs just as well as the product specifically formulated for nails. They have not broken or split at all and I keep mine in a strategically sharp, squared shape.

I was given a sample of the Rosebud Salve at a Sephora store yesterday. I always have trouble with dry, chapped lips in the cooler months of the year & typically have 5-6 different lipglosses, balms & chapsticks scattered about in my purse, under my pillow & in jacket pockets. I'm always looking for something that works better, lasts longer & has a pleasant smell. I used the Smashbox lip exfoliator (sugar!) & then the Rosebud salve before bed last night. I am sold on both! Woke up this morning with moist soft lips. It goes on smooth, has a subtle shine & isn't sticky. Wonderful stuff...now I need to buy more before I run out.

This salve is GREAT. I use it for almost everything. Bug bites, poison oak, dry skin, cuticles and of course, chapped lips. It works so well in calming down irritated skin. I like the non sticky semi glossiness it has on the lips.
the only downside is that it melts easily because of its metal tin. but keep away from heat and you'll be fine.

Quick Take: drying
With all the hoopla surrounding this product, I had no doubt I would not regret this purchase. However, the salve ended up drying my lips out incredibly (I usually don't have a problem with chapped lips), then, when I did some research, I found out it is made with Borax. The price is unbeatable, but just didn't do it for me; I wound up exchanging for the Sephora Brand Complete Lip Balm, and it is INCREDIBLE (and only $5!).
I. Love. This Stuff. I'll just say it. It keeps my lips nice and soft and non-chapped, which is great for the winter. I gave it to my sister to use on a bug bite that was stinging something awful once, and she said that it took away the sting well, too. The smell is okay, I'd take any smell if it works like this does. Will be buying it again, and buying my sister her own tin, so she won't use up mine!

I heard this stuff was awesome, but I don't love it. Since it's petroleum based, it doesn't truly moisturize my lips. I like it for my cuticles, and even the rough patches on my feet, but it's moisturizing properties don't have a lasting affect. Smells good, looks nice, but doesn't really work (unless you like reapplying every 5 minutes).
