Quick Take: refreshing, non-drying
My skin is so incredibly dry and sensitive that toner seemed to be a silly thing for a while. This face mist is gentle enough to not hurt my skin, but it still helps on those days when just washing my face doesn't leave it feeling clean.

Quick Take: non-drying, refreshing, acne treating, pore refining, unclogs pores
this is my second review for this. initially it made me break out reeeaaallly bad. I contemplated stopping using it, but figured it was probably the toner working to unclog my pores. my pores must have been real bad because this lasted about a month. thankfully i stuck with it though, because now my skin is soooo soft and clear! those stubborn deep rooted blackheads are gone! i couldn't believe how my rough skin became so smooth, and how clogged my pores were! my skin is on the dry side and this toner is perfect. i find most dry it out. this bottle has lasted me almost a year as well, and i use it at least once a day. i prefer to spray the toner on a cotton pad and wipe my face with it after washing it with OH african red tea cleanser. these two, along with the OH night gel has been the ONLY things that have actually worked to clear my skin. wish i found them sooner, but better late than never!

Consider this more like a cleansing toner rather than hydrating or calming one. Usually after using this, I apply Kiehl's Calendula toner or Jurlique rosewater to hydrate and prep my skin for serum. Must say it cleanses well but is slightly drying to my normal-dry skin. Would not use it alone.

Most of the toners are to wipe off dirt, but this, you can just spray it on your face to as moisture.(you can wipe with cotton too, if you want). Big hit! I came from Asia,so using toner to replenish moisture is a must and not so much on wipe away toner. This is very gentle, smells fantastic, my skin is softer and comfortable. I will be buying this for loooooong time :-)

This product was recommended by a Sephora advisor for sensitive skin and is made from natural ingredients. It is a mild toner and very cooling on the skin. It removes dirt from my skin even after I wash it. I feel this will be a long-lasting product for me (possibly last at least 6 months) with a once-a-day use.

I have sensitive, fair skin with freckles. I was looking for a refreshing skin boost. This is not it. It was very strong smelling and it irritated my skin. I broke out with some of the largest pimples I've had as a grown woman.

Quick Take: refreshing, helps alleviate puffiness
I have very oily skin that breaks out. Since buying this I have used this daily as a spray and for the cost it is worth it. I find that it flushes my skin a bit (maybe due to the ginger?, not a big deal for me) but my skin is naturally a bit splotchy. The best thing about this is, it helps with the puffiness I get in my face when I have too much salty foods or alcohol or puffiness in general. I keep it in my purse in a separate travel sized spray bottle and enjoy this throughout the day. Will re-purchase.

I starting buying this after Sephora stopped selling Philosophy Hope Springs Eternal, and I am very satisfied with it so far. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to replace the Philosphy toner and for anyone who has sensitive skin.

I love it..i purchased it in a spray form and use it as a toner and also to touch up my makeup..my skin is always dry and dull. I feel when ever i use this toner it just refreshes my skin and people always ask me what i have done when i spray it over my makeup. My skin is not only dry but very sensitive all most all products burn my skin or make it red and this one does the total opposite. I feel like i want to buy like 3 more so i don't run out lol...love it

I had originally tried this toner in the starter kit, which I had received as a gift. I liked the toner, but didn't really notice anything special about it (it also wasn't in the misting bottle like the full-sized product is). However, when I ran out, my skin was breaking out in little bumps, which I am prone to getting from biking and exercising. I decided to go buy the full-sized product and see if that was what was keeping them at bay.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the full-size product was so much better than my trial size! It didn't even feel like the same product. I misted it on my face, and my face got tingly and warm (in a good way). After it dried, my skin looked healthy, supple, and not over-dried. When I woke up, my little bumps were not as noticeable. I definitely recommend this to anybody with combo, acne-prone skin who is looking for something that is natural, enjoyable, and gentle.

I LOVE this toner. It most definitely balances my senstive/combination & Fair skin. I have a tendency towards redness due to my emotions & monthly hormones, etc. and this toner helps a lot. It really is calming. I didn't really use a toner on a regular basis before I purchased this and I am definitely one to try a ton of skincare products before I find one I love. I will continue to purchase this one. I used to use the Clinique clarifying lotion 2, and I did like that, but would choose this one without a doubt every time.
