This is my second jar of the Ole Hendriksen Night Gel, and I will be buying a third. My dark spots are slowly fading, my acne is more under control and I like the firming effect it has on my skin. I don't really have an y fine lines or wrinkles and I hope to keep it that way. I do, however, need to use a moisturizer on top of the Night Gel, your skin feels somewhat tight.

I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I love it! The first night I used it I was a little questionable.. I used too much and it made my skin tighten TOO much and "glue-like". It is kind of sticky to apply at first, but after a few minutes and dries nicely. The next few nights I applied half as much and it went well. I wake up in the mornings and my face feels so nice. It took a week to see more noticeable results like reducing little fine lines I have. Overall I would recommend it.

I walked in to Sephora one day with some bad break outs on my face...hormones probably...( Being 33 and having breakouts saddens me.) One of the people working there actually came up to me and showed me this product, telling me it would change everything. Well, i couldn't resist. Bought it and HELLO AMAZING SKIN! This stuff is great! It helps keep my skin clear like no other cream. I use it with the Ole Henriksen moisturizer and the Vitamin C serum. These products have really helped my skin clear up, look healthy and moisturize.

Amazing. A gentle exfoliation, cleans and tightens pores, and leaves my skin feeling new in the morning. Since I'm dry, I use it 2-3 times a week max.
This is NOT a moisturizer! Fruit acids exfoliate and clear the way for new healthy baby skin cells, please don't overuse this product. Even the thinnest layer will work effectively. The complaints on here are obviously from mis/overuse.

After night 1 I thought this was great after day 2 and 3 my skin was so red and irritated around my nose and mouth area, it burned to use it at all. I went to the fair and had sunscreen on and still my face was unusually sensitive to the sun and was so red. How is this supposed to be a nightly cream? Returned it shortly after and have been finding relief from an inexpensive drug store old faithful, which leaves the question......Are we being scammed by these pricey "wonder" products?
I really love this stuff. I put it on at night under my moisterizer, and instantly I feel it tighten my skin. When I wake up in the morning my skin feels soft and I have visibly smaller pores.

Pros -very light weight gel -my skin does feel tighter in the morning -AHAs for cell turnover -Makes me feel like I'm doing something good for my skin since there aren't any -parabens or triclosan
Cons -Doesn't smell pretty
I rated this product 4 stars because I am a new user and it is so far so good. My skin only stung when I applied this gel after using a sulfur-based mask.

I didn't care too much for this night gel. Because of it's gel consistency, when applied, it feels like a tight film on your face (which is probably why other reviews says it's tightening) and is a little uncomfortable. I really didn't see any significant change with my skin texture or pore size. It is a bit sticky to apply also since it is a gel, but it doesn't leave you oily. My skin did feel a little softer in the morning, but that was about it. I've switched to the Pure Perfection night moisturizer and like that might better. It's creamier in texture and leaves my skin much smoother and moisturized...Skin feels firmer, clearer, pores are smaller and is visibly smoother and smoother to the touch as well.

This is the third or fourth time I've purchased the Invigorating Night Gel. This gel makes my skin look and feel great. If I break out, the gel really helps to clear up the breakouts faster. It also minimizes the post-breakout redness. The gel also helps with exfoliation, so my skin looks more even toned. I use Retin-A too, so I use this gel every other night (more if I have a breakout). I love this product and would recomment it to everyone!

I have oily skin and plenty of acne scars. I used this hoping that it would lighten the scars but it didn't really do that. And I was also using it as a light nighttime moisturizer, but it actually made me greasier. It almost feels sticky when you put it on but that goes away rather quickly. It smelled wonderful but it was definitely not for my skin type or the youth of my skin.
