Quick Take: exfoliating, skin-improving
This is the second time I've bought this product. I started using it months ago and just ran out. After just 2 nights of using this product I noticed a difference in my overall skin improvement. I have very sensitive skin so am relieved to finally find a product that does what it says it's supposed to!

This was one of the first Ole Henriksen products I tried, and it has knocked my socks off.
The gel feels tingly when applied, but has never caused any redness or irritation on my sensitive skin. I follow it with the companion Sheer Transformation Cream, and awake to fresh, luminous skin. My skin had begin looking dull and tired, but this Gel with its companion Cream gave me speedy, visible results.
You will not have to stare into the mirror wondering if you see improvement, the results will be unmistakeable. I could not be happier.
In addition, the price is reasonable, and a little goes a long way, so this product is going to be a great value as well.

Remarkably Effective on Combination Skin

I have to admit, I was skeptical about this product simply because it's so gross. It has the texture of snot, the look of pond scum and smells bad too. But when I gave it a chance I was surprised at just how efficacious it is! I have combination skin and get breakouts in my T-zone. This cleared my skin up in a few days. After a week of usage, my complexion felt firmer, looked brighter and healthier, and it was smoother for better makeup application. Using this product at night also visibly reduced the appearance of pores on my nose too.
It's expensive stuff, but it really does what it claims and the jar is pretty big and you don't have to use much so it will probably last a long time. I would recommend this to anyone with combinatiion skin because it's a great way to even out your complexion. It would also be good for oily skin since it's a lightweight gel rather than a heavy night cream.

Quick Take: exfoliating
It has a slight sting to it before I put sheer transformation on top of it, and I love that because then I know it's working. I use it alternately with a retinol cream from my dermatologist, and honestly, I think it does as much (if not more) to keep my skin clear. The only down side is that my cat loves to lick my face after I put it on so I have to keep away from her until it's fully absorbed - probably not a healthy part of a feline diet.

I've been using this nightly for two weeks. I had really red bumpy skin when I started and in three nights use my skin was leveling out and the breakouts I got from makeup went away much quicker. It makes your skin feel good in the morning and I've noticed the flushed look I had in my cheeks has pdiminished. I use this with the sheer transformation cream and its perfect. Good for acne prone skin.

So I redeemed this product as part of the Ole Henriksen trans4mational skincare package through the beauty rewards program. I used it once, and found that it felt very tightening and drying. I also didn't like the tingling feeling that it left upon applying, and so just put it away for a couple of weeks and never used it again. I then read some of these positive reviews and decided to try it again... and I'm glad I did!
After a three or four uses, I found that my skin looked smoother, brighter, and felt more hydrated. I had rough patches around my chin and cheeks, along with some acne on my forehead, and this seemed to get rid of my skin problems just like that! I used the sheer transformation moisturizer mixed with some of josie maran's argan oil for some added hydration. I will definitely continue to use this and would recommend this product to anyone with oily/combination skin,

Very Lightweight, Almost to a Fault?

I was looking for an oil-free night cream that doesn't feel like I have an oil slick on my face after application. This gel certainly accomplishes that, but I almost feel as though my skin is tight and/or dry after application. I've cut back on how much I apply each night, but find that I need to follow it up with some eye cream just so that my face doesn't feel so tight all over. I like all the chemicals that are left out though, and am generally happy with the results.

Quick Take: simple, lightweight, a little sticky at first, amazing
I really love this product. I have combo skin and I look for products that are anti aging and clarifying. This product is just that, it keeps my skin clear and radiant, and also helps with fine lines. I really notice am difference when I use it. There are a few times I have tried something new and I always come back to this night gel. I use the whole three wonders system, but usually go through two of these gels before I am done with the truth serum and moisturizer. I am happy one of the Sephora consultants recommended it. :-)

I love this, I never go to sleep without using this!! I first wash my face with African Red Tea Cleanser (same brand), them I apply Truth Serum, then I apply Invigorating Night Gel. I use Clinque- All About Eyes for my eye cream.
There is a slight tingling after you apply gel to face, it always dissipates after a few minutes. Honestly I like the tingling, it feels like its working when it is. I have now switched to all Ole Henriksen products for my face. I highly recommend using this product.

I've been coveting this stuff ever since I tried a sample a couple of years ago. I finally went for it and bought the jar, and I do not regret it! Makes my skin look amazing and younger- even other people have noticed a difference. I have always had VERY oily skin, but the top layers do get dry and peel in dry winter climate, and I have roscea and sometimes get cysts. This gel, while it feels like it is making skin tight and dry right after application, does NOT actually dry out my skin, although it does seem to help with th oil. I do not notice that it either prevents or causes breakouts, and it does not irritate the roscea. What is does do: makes my skin smoother, noticably younger, softer, less oily. And a little bit goe a very long way- I think the jar will last a long time and was well worth the price.

I've been looking for a product that would brighten, but not irritate my skin. I still have occasional adult acne, but my skin also tends to peel when I use peels for oily skin. After using the Invigorating Night Gel for just a week I noticed that my skin was definitely brighter and I had no irritation. My acne was also in check. I didn't notice a huge difference on the acne front, but it definitely wasn't any worse which is always a concern of mine when I switch products.

This is another product that it helps to "shop around". If it seems to expensive, it is! On the Ole Henriksen website 1.7oz is $48. Sephora really needs to start price matching. Aside from my pet peeve on the price this product is great. Seriously great. I used it along with the Ole Henriksen truth serum collagen booster so I am unsure if the product was great alone or with the collagen booster, regardless if it's both, they worked wonders on my skin. It appears smoother, my pores on my nose are almost invisible when I wake up, and I have a form of "mila" on my cheecks, not a lot, invisible to people but when I touch my face I could feel bumps. Well those bumps are gone after 2 weeks using the collagen booster, invigorating night gel & also, Ole Henriksens walnut complexion scrub. I will 100% buy this product again but not from sephora until they drop the price.

If you suffer from breakouts or any other skin impurities you need this!
I purchased it almost a year ago after a Sephora employee recommended it for my breakouts, I thought the price was a bit much at the time but I was desperate and was really ready to tackle my skin issues I've had since a young teen. I'm so glad I decided to buy it, it feels so good and refreshing going on, I don't even wash it off in the morning because my skin looks so refreshed, after a month of using it everyone could see the difference in my skin and commented on how clear it was. I still have about 1/4 of product left but it's starting to feel kinda sticky on my skin but other than that I can't be happier, I will definitely be trying out more Ole products as well as purchasing this for as long as they produce it.

Background: I've had acne for 15 years. I think I've tried everything (except Accutane). My skin is pretty resistant to everything.
I got this after getting a sample at Sephora. The tiny little sample lasted me at least two weeks, and in that time my skin changed. Seriously. I didn't want to believe it because of the price tag on this night creme, but my skin looks so much better. Even my male friends have commented on it (which really takes a miracle). My skin has never looked so good. My pores haven't really shrank at all (which I read in some reviews) but my acne has improved dramatically and my skin just looks healthier.
For all that this costs, I've been using it for at least a month now and it looks like I haven't used anything. Very little goes a very long way.
It's worth it. Every penny.

I am on my second jar (although I took a break in between) and have not been disappointed. This is great if you have oily to normal skin, but would probably be too drying otherwise. It is cool going on and may give a little tingle or sting on fresh acne, but helps clear it away rather quickly. It feels a a bit tight once it dries, which I don't mind, but others may. I only wish this came in a more sanitary pump dispenser rather than a jar. You also only need a thin layer so it will last a few months if you only use it at night.

I am 30, struggling to find nice creams for my daily routine. At first my skin felt weird tangly , a bit itchy specially around my lips , i put it after cleansing and toning followed by sheer transformation . My skin felt firm radiant soft in the morning and actually a weird stubborn several weeks zit finally disappeared by the second day , pores much better , my laughter lines softer , i am having a brighter more radiant skin.
