hmm..
-11.25.12
Quick Take: fine granules
well, i thought i liked this scrub... i used it a few times and it definitely exfoliated me it wasn't harsh when i was washing and seemed to make me smooth, i just didn't really see as much of a wonderful difference as other people have said plus its 50 bucks! i will say the jar is hugemungous so obviously it will last a lifetime but once my boyfriend said i smelled like bug spray i returned it asap lol plus i was getting these strange bumps on my skin after i used it and i don't know what that was about i never have allergic reactions... but to each their own....not the greatest smell... i guess it keeps the bugs away

Great Exfoliator!
-08.28.12
Quick Take: fine granules
I love this product, very nice and powerful scent, I smell good all day, even after sweating from working out. But even though product size is big it doesn't seem to last long though.

Favorite Scrub
-07.14.12
Quick Take: fine granules
I've been using this scrub for over 5 years now, About once to twice a week depending on how my skin feels to me. The scent is very nice, fresh, even my husband likes it because its not a feminine scent and helps with dry skin. I highly recommend this scrub...it really has helped keep my skin like silk...i love it!

Spa in a jar!
-05.04.12
Quick Take: fine granules, fresh scent, rinses clean
I love this scrub! Don't be put off by the price...a little goes a long way and I was really surprised by how large the jar was when I got my order in the mail. It has lasted me for a good seven months now and I use it about two or three times a week. The scent is great! I find it really fresh and it reminds me of being somewhere tropical. This scrub rinses clean away and leaves my skin feeling really smooth...perfect to use before applying self-tanner. I love using this scrub especially after coming home after a hot yoga class...very refreshing. I would recommend this in a heart-beat!

I love the way my skin feels...
-04.07.12
Quick Take: moisturizing
I use this body exfoliant twice a week. Maybe I'll sneak in three times a week just because I know it is not as abrasive compare to sand scrubs. This is a salt scrub and it absorbs easily when you mix it up with water. I'll also use the rough loofahs while scrubbing my skin (not those soft ones, they don't benefit at all). The scent is refreshing. The lavender is a calming scent and lemongrass is an awakening scent. Weird how those two are together, but they both compliment each other. While scrubbing, and the salt is dissolving, the essential oil gets lefts behind, but very mildly. It doesn't leave an oily residue, you just feel good and moisturizer after.

Smells Terrific
-03.26.12
Quick Take: long lasting scent, moisturizing
I usually stay away from scrubs because I hate the oils that are in it. It makes me feel greasy and maybe my skin is just a little too sensitive. But this stuff is NOT oily and it smells great. Very vibrant and earthy. The salt is nice and not too rough and my skin feels dreamy afterwards. I use it a couple times a week, but it's a nice perk in the morning. The only thing I did notice was I had a small scratch on my arm and the scrub stung a bit. So, I guess make sure you don't have any abrasions or anything. Otherwise, I enjoy the scrub.

I do like this scrub, but it's not as GREAT as some of the other reviews described, in my opinion. I like Sabon's scrubs better, but it's less convenient to order from there than Sephora.

Quick Take: long lasting scent, renewing
Thats the only way to describe how my skin felt after using Ole Henriksen's Rub'N Buff Salt Scrub.I was initially apprehensive about this product, because I didn't want to be considerable disappointed , but to my surprise after the first application in the shower, on just my arms, all I could do was smile ! It's a bit pricey but, a little goes a long way, and after using this scrub you're left feeling as if you've just left a spa!

Rub 'N, uh, nothing much
-06.06.11
Quick Take: salt
This product smells questionable and is not moisturizing or nourishing to the skin. After using it for the first time I was left with the thought, "so what?". Rubbing my skin with wet sea salt would have accomplished the same thing. Very boring product with a very high price. Forget about it.

Love it*
-05.28.11
Quick Take: exfoliating, great-smelling, easily washed away, luxurious
This scrub has exceeded my expectations. I bought it the first time just because of the size...I hate running out of product mid-shower. This lasted a long time and it didn't seem like a burden to exfoliate...I love the smell and the feel of my skin is noticeably improved after using it.
I made the mistake of being cheap and when I ran out of it I bought the $28 Loofa Scrub. I didnt like the smell, and it doesnt do half the job of this one.
I will buy it again....l o v e it

Quick Take: exfoliating
I really like this scrub. It makes your skin very smooth and it rinses clean. The scent is strong, but refreshing and I think it exfoliates well. The jar is very large and should last a long time.

-05.22.11
Quick Take: refreshing, smells amazing
I love the smell of this product. It smells like lavender and lemongrass essential oils. I enjoyed using the product. The size of the jar is fairly large, so it will last a good amount of time as well I look forward to using it again. It was refreshing.

Favorite scrub ever
-04.27.11
Quick Take: long lasting scent, moisturizing, value
I love a body scrub and have tried all from the very inexpensive to the very high end. This is my favorite from the texture, to the scent LOVE LOVE LOVE the scent. It's somehow calming and energizing at the same time. I'd buy a candle in the scent...Smooths, rinses off easily and makes a great gift. Long lasting in a huge tub.

Best salt scrub ever!
-03.10.11
Quick Take: long lasting scent
This scrub is amazing and smells wonderful. A little pricey, but the jar lasts a long time. Salt doesn't wash off or melt as fast as sugar scrubs.

Pretty good, don't know if I'd get it again
-01.04.11
I have been using the Rub N Buff salt scrub for three weeks now. It's not as effective as I was hoping for. It also has a strong smell (kind of citrussy/salty smell), which some people might find un-appealing. I enjoy using this product, just for that "extra-clean" feeling, and because its nice to exfoliate the skin, but it doesn't seem to be producing any lasting effects that I can tell. My legs, feet, elbows etc all look and feel the same after I shower, despite using this product for three weeks.

The smell is refreshing and the salt makes it super moisturizing. I've used it on dry skin before my shower and wet skin at the end of my shower. Works great both ways!

not worth it
-10.05.10
Quick Take: stinky
I bought this because, my Sephora was out of Philosophy scrub that I just love. I could barely feel any exfoliation when wet, it definitely works better on dry skin, but it still was not anything close to what I wanted. Either way I will not be repurchasing, because I simply cannot stand the smell. The size of the jar is generous... but the smell... ugh....
