I have allergies and sleep on my stomach so, it is rare when I don't wake up with bags under my eyes. That is, until I started using this religiously at night. A little goes a long way. I'm a fan!! Oh, and those of you that think it stings is prob bc you're not used to having any Retinol or acids in your eye creams - those are the anti-aging ingredients people - it goes away bc your skin gets used to it after a day or two - trust me, I usually have pretty sensitive skin. Also, it's "sticky" when you put it on your lids (which the instructions just say to put it under the eye) and if you stay up and watch tv your lids are open - if you go right to bed the skin on your lids has a chance to absorb the product.

This is my 2nd jar. I like this gel as it truly depuffs and also slightly tightens the undereye skin with its gel consistency and its botanicals. I am able to wear this gel with make up. You have to apply your foundation sparingly in the eye area in order for it to marry to this gel, but it can be done, with the gel giving you a lifted appearance for day. If you don't wear foundation, you surely can wear this for daytime with no issues. The instructions, though, are for night time use. It is very a nice hydrator with its hydration lasting indefinitely.

So I either never had bags under my eyes or this gel is a miracle. Holy mackerel was I wow'd and if you know me, it takes an awful lot to do that. I never write reviews, ever, but I just had to for this. I received this gel today and thought I'd do my nightly routine a bit early to see if I noticed anything before bed. Right before He!!'s Kitchen I washed up, moisturized, eye gelled and then totally forgot about it. Watched my show, go potty and go to bed. Then it dawned on me to take a peek. So I did and the bags were virtually gone. True story. Goes on coos and a bit tingly (in a good way) and as everyone else has said, A LITTLE GOES A LOOOONNNNGGGG WAY!!! I could tell just by the feel of it. I only wish I took a before and after picture to post.
Needless to say, I'm gellin' like a felon. ;)

I got a sample of this and loved it. It is a very thick texture at first but one you rub it on your eye area it is awesome and smooths over very nice. It doesn't feel thick after that at all. Make up goes over it wonderfully. I will buy the full size of this once I finish my current eye cream. Very hydrating. I couldn't give it 5 stars because I didn't use it long enough to see any results as far as brightening or anything else it may claim to do.

Quick Take: hydrating, little goes a long way, worth the price, great for sensitive skin, immediate results
...It's true... being a gel, one must be aware that this product should more be used at night - due to the fact gels are "sticky" and interfere with makeup application HOWEVER, I have mostly used this product as part of my normal MORNING routine... It takes time, however, because first I wash my face and gently pat dry. I then use my moisturizer and also at that time then apply this gel to both below my eyes and even up on my arch below my brows... any left-over residue on my finger I then wipe on the remainder of my eyelid. I must wait, however for both the moisturizer and the gel to dry before I can apply my mineral face powder, because as I said before, it can cause your eyeshadow (which I do not use) or face powder/makeup to "clump". This stuff you can FEEL working... my eyes feel tighter and more alert. I have lost a few wrinkles - not wrinkles that are deep and caused by old age and sun damage, but wrinkles caused by the skin losing it's elasticity. This stuff goes to work IMMEDIATELY. Being a gel, it also lasts longer than what I have experienced with creams... and trust me... a LITTLE of this goes a looooong way.
Stop in your Sephora store if there is one in your town and ask them for a sample! You can try this for free - that is how I got addicted to it ;) One of their samples can last 2-4 days depending on how much you want to use... a little goes a long way.
WORTH THE PRICE!!!

Puffy eyes begone!

I'm on my second jar and promised myself I would not stray again ...
After a bit of a break from this eye gel to try other brands, within days of using this again, my strangely puffy eyes have gotten much better! I don't sleep well so I'm quite prone to waking up with awful looking puffy undereyes. Since I've gotten back on the routine of using this one at night and the Ole Hendrickson SPF 15 eye cream in the day, my eye area has vastly improved. I'm surprised at the many people who say that it burns...the effect I get is a cooling sensation which feels great! I have rather oily skin though so I wonder if it might not as well for people with drier skin?

Very effective for combination skin

I have a hard time with creamier eye products because I have combination skin and often break out at the slightest imbalance. This gel is soothing and effective in reducing puffiness, fine lines, and boosting firmness. Best of all, it doesn't interact poorly with my facial night cream. It's slightly sticky, but not a problem at night. I am in my late 20s and have very few eye-area concerns other than prevention and occasional stress/sleep-deprivation issues. So I am not sure whether someone older or with more servere needs would benefit as much, but definitely give it a try!

This product works wonders for me. I pat this under my eyes first thing out of the shower in the morning AND after I wash my face at night. I'm almost 60 years old, but I don't have a hint of a line or wrinkle around my eyes!

This feels good on the skin and definitely aids with reducing puffiness. I have not noticed any minimization of fine lines though. A little will go a LONG way with the eye gel so a container of it will last you a while.

Very Sticky formation...go for another eye cream!

I wanted to love this product because I love gel skin care products but it's extremely sticky after it dries. It left my eyelids and under eyes very sticky and heavy. Didn't like this product at all.

I really like the product from only the small sample I received with my last order. The refreshing cucumber cooling is wonderful in the AM and use at night did reduce puffiness without "over deflating" my under eyes. I will be ordering the full size.

It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review for a skincare product; even if a product is ineffective, I'm generally of the opinion that it simply isn't for me and may work well for others. This eye gel was an unfortunate exception to the rule-- it did exactly the opposite of what it claimed!
The first time I used this I was shocked when I woke up in the morning, after a typical night's sleep, to find my under eye area looking twice as puffy as it had when I went to bed. It 'plumped,' alright-- the area directly under my eye was incredibly puffy and what are normally barely noticeable fine lines looked like canyons! I like Ole Henriksen products, so this was a major disappointment.
I'm glad I tried this as a sample before purchasing; I've used it twice more since the first time with the same results. It appears to work well for some people, but my advice is to beware-- try before you buy and don't take this one for a test drive if you need to look your best the following day...

This eye gel did not have a soothing feeling, After the eye gel dried underneath by eyes, the skin was very dry. I looked like a much older person after usage of this product. It seem to dehydrate my skin. I had high hopes for this product. It is advisable to try a sample of this gel before purchasing,
