Oscar Blandi Volumizing Spray
What it is:A volumizing spray that adds body,
texture, and support.What it does:Designed target the
root area as well as the entire style, this easy to use
spray adds lift, fullness, and bounce. Enriched with
wheat protein, it not only provides lasting, flexible
hold to any desired style, it also strengthens and
fortifies the hair with regular use by multiplying the
width of each hair strand, forming an invisible scaffold
on the hair. Heat is necessary in the performance of
this product, so be sure to include it in your heat
styling routine.

Quick Take: sticky
This didn't give me the volume I was hoping to achieve. I gave it to my daughter and she wasn't impressed either. Also, It leaves your hair sticky.

What a find! In my late 50s I have struggled for years for a way to reliably and consistently control frizzy curly hair. I like my bangs straight with minimal volume . Sometimes I like to have my whole style straight, sometimes it's a mix. This immediately has given me that great styled look and I have never received more compliments on my hair. It takes such a small spritz, work through with your fingers - no matter if your hair is wet or dry for styling. It takes only seconds to dry for a smooth, soft look using a dryers or flat iron - no more sticky hair spray, gels, mousse with residue. Even on humid/wet days, my hair stays well styled. Since it requires very little, a bottle lasts quite a while for medium length hair.

I have very fine hair, and have tried every kind of "volumizing" product that exists. This is the only one that actually works. In fact, I can't find it in the store anymore, the only way I can get it is by ordering online. Please don't discontinue!

EXCELLENT BUT ONLY FOR HEAT DRIED/STYLED HAIR

Quick Take: non-sticky, lightweight, easy to use, heat activated product, won't work with naturally dried hair
The voluminizing spray I've been using (which worked for both naturally dried and heat dried hair) was reformulated to something that doesn't work well for me. In search of something else, Oscar Blandi's Volumizing Spray was suggested. While this is more expensive than the product that was just reformulated, it's definitely good, if not better, although the one downfall is that it is heat activated, so it means I need a different Volumizing Spray when I'm not using my blowdryer. (The directions are very specific on this, so I haven't tried it when I just air dry. I had to also buy a root lifting product for volume when I'm letting my hair dry on it's own - it's too flat without it). That said, although I've now gone from one to two products, this is probably worth it. It does work well, and leaves my hair soft and fuller. While I specifically like this for the volume it provides near my hair roots, I also like how it seems to add extra volume to the rest of my hair. I'm pleased with this spray.

gives somewhat oomph to thin hair after blowdrying. My only dislike is after washing my hair twice you can feel a film thats left on the hair.

Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use, awesome
Since I started using Oscar Blondi Volumizing Spray my husband comments how fabulous my hair looks, ( which he rarely did). I have tried so many other sprays but this is FAR superior and worth every penny. This spray keeps my hair looking like it has volume ALL day.
Just wish they made a travel size for the plane!

I returned this. I tried it and the effect on my straight, fine, thick hair was appalling. It did add volume, but in an odd way that made my hair act like I had just teased the heck out of it. Which would add volume too, I guess. But I am lazy about my hair and don't want to deal with a product that causes it to get bunchy and tangly and frizzy when I'm just trying to look decent enough to get out the door. Maybe someone with more skill might be able to use this to his/her advantage, since it does do something to hair. But I am not that person.

I mostly got this as a heat protectant, and it's been working great towards that purpose. And yes, it does add volume, but not A TON. You would need to combine it with some holding hairspray for any mega-effect. As a heat-protectant that smells good, is lightweight, and gives hair a bit of lift, I DEFINITELY recommend it.
