Dior Eau Sauvage

Lucid and willful, Eau Sauvage is the perfume of the cult of elegance, refinement, and good humor. With the zest of citrus fruits for freshness, an invigorating bouquet of herbs, a hint of jasmine and vetiver for the sensual touch, and oakmoss to conquer and seduce, it will remain a fresh, discreet classic.Notes:Lemon, Rosemary, Petit Grain, Basil, Water Jasmine, Vetiver.Style:The all-time classic a subtle statement for men of style.

A beautiful, almost linear scent that dates back to the 60s (check out the vintage advertising campaigns on image search!) and has survived multiple reformulations relatively unscathed. There's no way you can't enjoy its zingy drydown, either... If you're a woman and you want to wear a masculine scent without smelling tacky, this is it. Pure classic.

Quick Take: classic, clean, fresh
I don't really know what to say about this eau toilette other than the fact that I crave its scent. On days I don't use it, my body shows symptoms of withdrawal. I believe this will be my staple scent for a long time.

The scent of a memory
-03.07.12
Quick Take: envigorating
Most of us are aware that scents can often trigger our strongest memories. Eau Savage was my first designer fragrance and so it brings back memories of simpler times. I was so glad to see it resurrected after so long. What can I say? It gives me so much joy when I use it, the kind of joy that only a happy memory can bring.

An all-time classic that never goes out of style.

Quick Take: masculine, refined, dark, intense
This is one of my all-time favorite fragrances. It's great for evening wear but a bit much for daytime. A little bit goes a long way!

Do you want to be remembered?
-12.02.11
Quick Take: crisp fresh witty
This is one of my favorite scents. I can spot it at a distance, and its only on the most amazing men. Wear it and you will be remembered for years. It can play dapper & classic or edgy & smart, but it is always perfect, (even if you don't want to be)

Timeless
-11.12.11
Quick Take: unique, wonderful
I purchased this after falling in love with Dior Homme, and wanted to experience all things Dior....and to be honest I wasn't blown away the first time I wore it. However it did not take long for me to realize that this was truly a unique and classic fragrance that differentiated itself far from the rest( first developed in 1966)...I now struggle to decide between the two. I highly recommend.

TIMELESS AND EVOCATIVE
-06.25.11
Quick Take: 'wild water' is the perfect name!, instant aphrodisiac!
This unique Dior classic is perpetually fresh and intriguing. Dizzying citrus notes make it the perfect, sensual summer cologne for men OR women. I love it so much on my husband that I wear it myself- I just can't get enough! Never overpowering and always SO sexy.

Quick Take: pure citrus
My father has only ever worn this- in the splash version. It is one of the cleanest, most crisp colognes I have ever smelled, and I love it. It is pure citrus, sharp and bright but very clean.

Aphrodisiac: Sexy, without being obnoxious
-01.11.11
Quick Take: sexy, alluring, sophisticated, an aphrodisiac
As a young woman, I do in fact find that a great cologne can be an absolute aphrodisiac. Unfortunately, there are so many mediocre masculine scents that are overly aquatic or citrusy (e.g. Acqua di Gio) and thus simply do not allure me. As soon as I smelled this, I was in love!
To put it bluntly, guys: WEAR THIS! It is seduction and sophistication in a bottle!

I have loved this fragrance for more than a decade. Went to Paris recently and was spritzing this on every time I saw it in the duty-free shops...Been wearing it since and it makes me feel so chic and Parisian :)

mature smelling
-07.30.10
I bought this for my boyfriend without every smelling it first. I thought it would smell nice because of the lemon. It DOES smell nice, it just had to grow on me! It just is more mature then what I thought it would smell like.
