Wonderful Lipstick- 11.09.09

I love this lipstick, the color is gorgeous, it makes your lips look full and shiny, and it feels great. The only complaint I have is that it isn't really all that long wearing, it stays on but stops looking as good after a while. Overall though, this is a great lipstick.

Everyone was so helpful. I had just gone to a first class department store to get the same brand and color. Their price was a lot higher and I decided I would wait until later to buy. When I saw it at Sephora I was excited and bought it there.

I did not like this one very miuch. I know it's unrealistic to expect the color to be exactly as depicted online, but this one was really different....but i'm giving 3 stars because the lipstick is too slick and not at all creamy. It's like a glorified lipgloss without the stickiness. I LOVE Rouge G de Guerlain Jewel Lipstick and i'm sticking with that.

A beautiful blue red, incredibly flattering on my medium-toned, neutral-undertone skin. This lipstick goes on beautifully, smoothis and moisturizes without bleeding at all, an unusual combination. The smell, which apparently people love or hate, is very floral (rose and violet) and tres French. The case is gorgeous and classy, and a pleasure to pull out of one's kit. Highly, highly recommended.

I love everything about this lipstick - it's soft and creamy in application, almost comforting in how it feels on the lips. The packaging is gorgeous. The colors are amazing - the pinks work well on my slight olive complexion, which I sometimes struggle with. My only problem is that I want all the colors!

I bought this in the peche frivole and it goes so well with my olive skin tone! This is a gorgeous shade and it lasts for many hours without having to redo it all the time. It also does not dry out your lips like some of the other lip sticks do! But please note that the color swatches online are nowhere near the actual shade!! I would say that the actual lip color is a shade or two lighter than what you see online.

I got this lipstick over the weekend, and I have worn it every day since. I have a zillion, I trade with for each day. But this formula is great, and I use a lipliner, but my lips look so full and pouty with this lipstick. Love it! I got the Forever Beige 558, and it is a nice neutral color with just enough pop to it. It feels good and it is long wearing. this is my first purchase of this brand, I will be getting other colors.

I really like this lipstick, I purchased it in Rose Entertant (spelling?). I wanted to try something new thanks to all my favorites being discontinued through Lancome - and noticed all the high remarks for this lipstick line. Though there's quite a difference between actual color and online color swatch (which I would expect some) - this is a great color on me and I've received lots of complements. I noticed it's a great versitle color that goes well with my red lipstick liner or my more nude liner for two different effects. The lipstick wears nicely and my lips got use to the texture and creamy feeling quickly. This is a color I can put on my lips no matter how I do my makeup (work, evening, or ???).

This lipstick is very rich and long lasting. The color is a light red with gold flecks. If you have copper highlights in your hair (like me) this color will bring them out as well as warm up your skin. The only drawback that I have found so far is that the case the lipstick comes in is rather gaudy and bulky.

expensive but absolutely beautiful- 06.18.09

Buying this lipstick felt like a real investment because of the price. Having said this, I still ended up buying 2 shades and being very happy with them. Rose Entetant (569) is a beautiful, flattering shade for my light to medium skin tone. It looks even more natural on me as it fades off during the day. I have attached a picture of me after a day of using it, where it has faded off a little. Same effect if you just put it on and then blot it. You can layer on for a less subtle effect. The finish is semi-matte but it has the right amount of frost or shimmer in it so as not to look flat. The other shade I got, Flushy Beige, actually looks similar to Rose Entetant (I bought two similar colors, go figure) and is just as pretty. Flushy Beige is more rosy-brown, therefore slightly brighter on me, and Rose Entetant is slightly more mauvy but they still look similar when I put them on. Having said that, I like them both. They don't dry out my lips, they don't rub off easily and they don't leave a stain once you remove. If you're willing to make the $30 investment, you won't go wrong. As for the smell that some people complained about, I actually love it. It's like a rose scent and reminds me of the old Chanel lipsticks my mom used to wear. Maybe that's what expensive smells like LOL.

Liked the color I picked(Rose Strass) but didn't feel great on my lips and had a funky odor. Probably wouldn't buy again. Not worth it for the price.

Flushy Beige is a beautiful natural lip color, the go to for a healthy fresh look without being over the top for my 59 years. However, the lipstick formula is so smooth and creamy, my next color choice will be one of the more dramatic, deeper shades.

I really love this lipstick. It's now part of my best lipstick collection. It is moisturizing, but not so much so that it's semi-matte or glossy. I would say it falls somewhere between semi-matte and matte. It is not drying in any sense of the word, and has excellent staying power. I have only used it with a lip liner, so that may have something to do with the staying power, but seeing as how it's close to being matte, I'm assuming it would last awhile by itself as well. The color is HIGHLY pigmented. I bought Folie De Grenat 525. Color is as described (deep classic red) and color swatch is rather close to actual color as well. Both the package and smell are beautiful. I can find nothing wrong with this lipstick.
