BEST SHIMMERY BODY POWDER AVAILABLE-COCOA FLAVORED- 03.16.10

Last fall, a friend shared some of her UD Cocoa Flavored Body Powder with me when my husband and I went on an overnight trip to a concert. It was a great success. I loved it (and so did my husband). It gave me a beautiful shimmer. As I reported at the time, although it's very sexy at night, it looked best in daylight, when the sun was able to play off the shimmer. I've used it occasionally since. (This is more of less a special occasion product). It smells so yummy.
We're on vacation at a beach resort. My skin is very pale. I took this with us on this trip, and I've noticed it's worked amazing well on my skin, giving me a little bit of color, plus the shimmer catches the sunlight and creates an optical illusion of my having a lot more color than I do. (This isn't waterproof, so is not meant for swimming or water sports). Although I don't normally use this on my legs, I tried it today, and it really did give me a enough of a color that I didn't look like a white sheet. The sunlight catches the shimmery powder, and even gives legs an optical illusion of being better toned than they really are because the focus goes off the legs and is caught with the shimmer.
That said, this is awesome however you use it. I can smell the faint fragrance of the cocoa, which is subtle and doesn't overpower. A little goes a long way, and although this is not meant to be a blush for legs, it is working. It comes with a soft puff for application.
These Body Powders also come in Marshmallow and Honey. As I wrote in a review a few months ago, all brides-to-be should consider using marshmallow for their walk down the aisle.
I highly recommend these. They make me feel good - there must be some psychological effects to the fragrance - plus they're effective. Try them. Body glitter sprays seem to be all the rage this season. These three are really better than most - you get the sparkle, along with a smells great edible body powder. You won't find anything better.

Yummy!- 03.02.10
Love this stuff! Has a golden shimmer but in a sublte way. If you have natural medium brown/olive skin tone it looks great. I use it on my neck, decollete and shoulders--smells like sweet cocoa but not in an obnoxious way.

Fabulous Effects, Delicious Taste~- 02.26.10

This product arrives very well boxed / sealed. The puff is generously sized, and has a cute print, and holds plenty of product. The plastic seal allows you to regulate how much of the product flows through the openings. The lid is VERY tightly fitting, to keep it dry and fresh. The effects I achieved with this were magical! It smells and tastes just like cocoa, my husband raved about how much he liked it and asks me to wear it often. The shimmer is classy, not tacky. Buy this while you can! I waited for a long time to try this and am thrilled with the results! Very economical, too.

Quick Take: long lasting, fast-drying, smells fantastic!
i just bought this a couple of hours ago and I have to say I absolutely love it! It does smell like cocoa powder. I'm very dark skinned, so all you see is sparkle. I love that. I have a sensitive sniffer and the smell is very subtle. The puff is adorable and sexy. I have a feeling this will be a staple on my vanity.

This is great stuff - my husband actually likes it on me, too. He normally doesn't like anything on me. Smells very cocoa-y and has a warm sparkly glow. Going to get some of the other flavors, too.

A few months ago, a friend shared her stash of this body powder when my husband and I went on a quick overnight trip to a concert. This powder is wonderful. Wherever you apply it, you'll get a beautiful shimmer. Although this is really sexy at night, it looks best in daylight, when the sun or other strong lighting can play off the shimmer.
Before that concert, I applied it to my shoulders and neck. I could faintly smell the cocoa through dinner and the concert. Although I didn't say anything to my husband, during the concert he seemed especially cuddly to my neck and shoulder area, so I suspect he was reacting to the delicious fragrance and not realizing it (since I hadn't mentioned it).. It's very subtle, and doesn't overpower.
When we got home, I tried to buy some more, but it was out of stock, and has been for a long time. It was out of stock online also during that time. I understand from my local Sephora consultants that this is difficult to get because it flies off the shelves the minute it arrives. It comes in a really neat box with a great powder soft powder puff for application. A little goes a very long way.
It also comes in two other "scents." The honey and marshmallow have similar effects. I like them in this order - Cocoa, Marshmallow, and then Honey. All brides-to-be should use the Marshmallow for that walk down the aisle. I've written a separate review under Marshmallow to explain why.
I highly recommend these. They make me feel good - there must be some psychological effects to the fragrance - plus they're effective. They're suitable for everyone.

At first, I was like "I can lick it?" So i did. It tastes sooo good. I am using this for formal for a little shimmer to my skin. It looks great. I love how it is edible too. haha. It's so fun to say "Lick me! It tastes like Cocoa!" haha

This product adds just the right amount of shimmer to wherever you want to apply it. I dont know about the taste too much since If you put on lotion before it thats probably all you will taste...(lol, who wants to be ashy??) i love this stuff the way it smeellls its like im wearing chocolate perfume! :)
the only thing is that it doesnt last as long as i would like it to! i put a lotion on before and then the product put it on so it last a bit longer :)

I love this powder. It sparkles, but not too much and you can put it anywhere. It gives off a very light cocoa scent so you could layer other fragrances with it. It also tastes really good too. It doesn't seem like it's very big when you get it, but I've used it for a couple months now and I haven't even put a dent in it. Great product if you like cocoa fragrances.

Looking for some shimmer- 10.02.09
I was looking for a sparkly body shimmer powder to wear on my neck and arms to Hawaii for my vacation. The powder smells sweet but doesn't stay on for more than 15 minutes. The golden sheen wasn't noticeable at all - maybe it will for a person with very fair complexion.
