Not as good as the gel...

I love the Clarins Self Tanning GEL. The milk is a lot less potent as far as color goes. I've gone through a whole tube in less than 2 weeks and I only apply every other day. Because of the sunscreen, it is a little harder to rub in so you have to use more. I still liked it because it smelled less strong, but I will continue buying the gel instead.

No streaks but takes a lot of product

This product does not streak as much as some self tanners I've used but had to put 5 applications on before I really noticed a good glow! Seems pretty excessive for how much this costs.

So i usually put my self tanners on at night and sleep with them on overnight. I found this self tanning product to be slightly think and sticky. I also found it did still have a fairy "self tanner" smell to it. I ended up returning this product.

I have been using this product for the last couple of years. I stared using it in the summer, and loved it so much that I continued wearing it year round for a healthy, subtle, golden glow! Now I have the tan without the harmful rays.....

Better than the stuff I tried in the early 90's

I have mixed feelings on this product. After deciding against a salon base tan before a recent trip to Hawaii, I searched high and low for a great 'tan in a bottle.' This was one of the few available at my local Sephora (there are many more options online). I was happy with the first application - no streaking, and the smell wasn't bad. But a few days later I did a second application and had streaking on my arms and feet. Probably my own fault...I will keep trying. Definitely use an exfoliator (I bought Brown Sugar Body Polish, which worked great).

Quick Take: natural looking, protective, nice color
This is a great product -- it advertises exactly what it does. SPF was enough to keep me unburned and the tanner was subtle and natural looking. 5 stars!

Clarins self tanning milk was one of the first one i had ever used.
I liked it but I wanted to try some different brands.
Also it was impossible to find the product where I liev.
After I discovered Clarins at Sephora in Madison WI.
I bought this product and I will never switch again.

I love this product it's a staple in my beach bag during the summer months and while on a tropical vacation during the winter. It's gives a nice self tan that's not orange, and helps protect your skin while laying out on the beach. It helps me get tan faster without burning. If you're going to a beachy destination this winter I would suggest this product.

Quick Take: great!
Excellent product. However it's a bit tricky to apply on the arms. The inner arm seems to streak, can never get it rightl. As well make sure you wash your hands as it does STAIN!

The Best Self Tanner I've Tried !

This product is very beneficial when trying to acheive an artificial tan without the tanning bed. I've been going to a tanning bed for 2 years but now know and agree with the harmful risks of uv rays on your skin. This product will give you a bronzed look. I have a very orange skin tone and this product made me look brown, not orange. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a fake tan that does not look orange. In addition, this product does not stain clothing as long as you wait about 10 minutes after applying. There are no streaks or blotchiness :) It is an awesome self tanner!

Quick Take: excellent, turns you into a nice glow!
This is my first time using self tanner, I used to be a tanaholic however with all the recent news on tanning beds...I decided to stop. I researched online for days of a good self tanner and this is the one I decided to try. It is a great self tanner and will def. give you a tan!! However make sure to rub it in evenly especially around wrists/back of arms or it will streak just a little (not too noticeable). Also, the smell is kind of yucky but fades in an hour or so. Other than that I'll stay with this product!

Quick Take: easy to use
I've used a lot of self tanners, and for shower to shower use I like this one best. It gives legs an overall sunkissed look without being overdone. I apply it right after shaving and there is no burn or sting. I also find it forgiving not streaky like some other tanners. It only lasts a couple days but it's so easy to apply and you can get dressed so soon afterward that it's not an issue for me. Make sure you wash your hands really good afterward. Also, take a tissue and wipe your ankles and knees just a little. This will help with dark spots. Good Luck!
