With Beautiful Results, I've used Clarins Instant Tanning Gel for 3 Years...
Clarins is Good for Your Skin. It's an Excellent Product.
This Tanning Gel goes a long way.
During the Summer I start off using this body gel 3 times a week. Once I get to the level of color I like;
I maintain a Healthly looking tan by applying it twice weekly.
The Winter is a bit different. Moving from CA to Idaho snow, I'll use this a few times a month. Just for a healthy glow.
I have a light peach tone to my skin, and Clarin's Medium Tanning Gel works perfectly.
The results are fabulous after just one use. The 2nd application your tan is awesomely deepened.
I use Clarin's Liquid Bronze for my face. It's another excellent product in their Face care line.
I've had no problems with application, or streaking. Just smooth Tanned Skin.
As soon as the Gel dries, you can get into anything you want, even white. This doesn't dye your clothes.
Once a week you'll need to use a Body scrub.
This helps exfoliate skin, even your tan, but most importantly;
Using a Body Scrub aides in length of your Clarins Instant Tan.
(Clarin sells one just for this reason)
I've used many self-tanning Lotions & Gels. I've found Clarins to be the best.

Quick Take: fabulous for fair skinned people!
I've been using Clarins self tanning gel for the last 8 years and I love the results I get from it. I've tried other self tanners that my friends have reccommended but I always continue to come back to Clarins. I have very fair skin and the clarins gives me the most natural and noticeable results without looking orange or streaky.

I like it!

The color it leaves is great, dark enough to show but not too dark to look strange on my fair skin. Its a little hard to know where you've put it and if you're not careful it can look streked. (I've messed up on my feet twice but otherwise it looks pretty good.)

This stuff doesn't lie -- it'll tan you up instantly; no streaks, lines, or mess. Definitely follow the directions, and if you do, you'll have incredible results. Worth it.

I just truly love this product. Want to fix spots on your face that aren't the same color as other parts of your face, well, here's your answer. My skin looks even and lightly tanned. Will buy again.

Quick Take: easy amazing
I always have a tube of this tanner in my bathroom. It gives you a natural glow and I have never had a problem with streaking. Ever since my mother got skin cancer, I have been an advicate for "smart sunning." This self tanner gives you that sun kissed glow without the harmful effects of sun bathing. It is a little expensive but much cheaper then going to get spray tans. One downside is that it does not smell very good, but I don't know of many self tanners that smell good. Just aply at night and wake up tan!

Quick Take: worth it!
I have fair skin and am from MN, so when October hits and the last ruminants of my summer tan have gone away it's time to get some color on my winter skin. I love Clarins. Maybe I am a little partial having lived in France and all, but I trust this brand. I like how this product goes on so nicely and absorbs quickly. The only thing that would make it better is if it had SPF 6 like the tanning milk (you can still get burned in the snow!) however this gel moisturizes and has a great color. I am a fan!

I've used it several times since I bought it last month. It has a scent, but it's certainly not as gross as most self-tanners. The gel isn't greasy and it absorbs fairly quickly. I noticed a darker color after the first use and it keeps getting better. It's not orange or any other creepy color, and my legs do look like they got a little sun. I'll definitely keep at it to see how it performs over the long run. Honestly, the only drawback for me is the price tag. But if it works, it works!

Quick Take: natural looking
Clarins self tanner is one of the best self-tanners I've used. It doesn't smell horrible like a lot of self-tanners do and it goes on smooth without streaking and looks very natural. It dries fast so I only wait about 10 minutes before dressing after application. I use it instead of tanning beds since my 40-ish skin doesn't need to be exposed to ultraviolet rays anymore. It's also buildable. I apply and wait several hours and if I don't feel dark enough I just apply another coat and it darkens you further. This is a great product.

So, I used to tan outside and in tanning beds all the time - on a weekly (even more than that) basis. I decided to stop and try this gel. Although I did not get "dark", I did not look as pale as I did prior. I turned a bit orange when applying everyday though.

Works very well! Just make sure to get EVERYWHERE like in between your toes, your ankles, your wrists, so you dont get weird tan lines. The lines wont appear for a couple hours. Also, when you wash it off your hands after, be SURE to wash off the excess buildup you get of the product between your fingers when youre applying it. Follows these directions and it will look like a natural, bronzey tan. Not too dark, not too oragne :)

great beginnings... bad endings

great self tanner.... i liked the color and everything. smell is meh...
the only thing i disliked about this product was how it looked about 1-2 weeks after. the tan started to wear away and as much as i exfoliated and everything, my skin looked discolored and looked like I had freckles or old old skin .

Nice for natural looking tan

Worked for me 5 days and I was really happy with the color natural but with a pretty glow. Once a week maintenance and then I follow with jergens hahaha but Love this product other wise just exfoliate!!!!

Unfortunately for me I have very, very pale skin on my legs and although I had heard very good things about this particular brand it did nothing for me whatsoever. I applied diligently and often and it did next to nothing, the barest hint of a colour if I was lucky. I don't think it is a fault with the product however, I have had this problem once before with another brand so I think it is something to do with the chemicals used that don't work on my skin type... sorry Clarins but I did expect better. I will say that it went on well and smelled nice...
