Lancôme BLUSH SUBTIL - Delicate Oil-Free Powder Blush

What it is: A luxuriously silky powder blush that glides on with its own brush to color and contour. What it does: This moisture-balancing formula is oil-free and oil-absorbing. It blends easily and lasts for hours without ever looking dry for the ultimate, natural finish.

I hadn't worn blush in decades. Seriously! Then an artist put it on me and I had realized what I had missing. This is a subtle, terrific color - not too pinky or peachy. V. happy! Kinda pricey for blush, but I know it won't disappear.

Staple in my make-up bag!

I try others but always go back to this blush. Very easy to apply and blend. Never looks streaky or cakey. Very natural in 'cedar rose'.

A good blush
-04.06.13
Con: the scent, but goes away after applying. Also does not last into the evening, fades. Still my favorite so far.

Miel Glace

Purchased this in the Miel Glace color, and it is INCREDIBLY subtle, but it also is very defining. Perfect for the au naturale look!

I love Lancome blush because I'm not very skilled at applying blush and I never look like a clown, unlike with other brands.

Color Stays On
-02.06.13
I seem to always go back to Lancôme for blush-ons. I have oily skin and the Lancôme powder blushes go on evenly and stay on through the day. Importantly, the color stays true - never turns orange. The current color I'm using is Rouge Glow. It looks very natural, which is my preference in cheek color.

Daily use

This product outdoes all blushes I've tried before. Subtle yet vibrant color to the face without overdoing it - yet you could build the color if you're looking for that pop of color. Great for everyday look.

perfection

Quick Take: natural looking
This is my favorite powder blush. I am obsessed with cedar rose-- it is the most beautiful natural color and it applies so smoothly. I have never found a blush color that suits my skin tone so well and I would have never picked it out because the color does seem a bit dull compared to the other pinks and corals, but it's lovely!

Lovely Blush
-01.21.13
Quick Take: natural looking
My coloring is blonde hair, blue eyes, with pink skin tones. This blush (cosmopolitan) is a great color and it goes on smooth, evenly and has a great finish. Love it. On weekends, I only wear a tinted moisturizer and this blush, and it looks great. When I wear foundation, it looks great too!

Best Blush around
-12.20.12
Quick Take: natural looking
CEDAR ROSE--I have been wearing this blush for 20 years, I wore it on my wedding day.
I have a freckled, fair to light skin. My daughters, all four of them have light to medium olive skin.
We all wear this, and it looks natural, and beautiful.
It is amazing how a good product works, across the line.
I have purchased so many different high end blushes, and although they look nice, this is the standard.
This blush lays so smoothly on the face, is not shimmery, and gives a nice natural glow.

A wonderful powder blush!
-12.15.12
I love this blush! I use Cedar Rose during the Winter and change to Aplum during the summer when I have a bit of a tan. I love the way this product stays put and is easy to control. I do usually use my own powder brush to apply rather than the little brush that comes with the compact. I adire this product!

Lancome Blush

This is the best blush yet. It is not to pick and not to brown. It is more natural for my skin tone which is fair to medium.

Love this blush
-12.05.12
I have a naturally very tan complexion, and this blush looks more subtle and bronze on my skin, which I love! Sometimes I pair it with a brighter sephora brand blush or a bobbi brown highlighter blush - if I'm going out at night. This blush is one of the best blushes I've owned, have been using it for years.

Amazing blush
-11.26.12
Quick Take: creamy, natural looking
I've been looking for a long staying matte blush for a long time, and finally bit the bullet and purchased this in aplum. I really like the natural rosy cheeks I get with this, and it lasts all day. Great product.

Best Blush Ever
-11.26.12
Quick Take: luminous sheen, natural looking, long lasting, perfect for pale skin
I get so many compliments on my skin whenever I wear this blush. I am positive it is the color "Miel Glace" and how it looks so natural on my pale skin, but also how it gives an amazing sheen to my cheek bones and where ever else I put it (I use it on my eyelids and forehead almost like a bronzer). Go light on the application or blend a bit for best results (Or... really lay it on and under your cheek bones for a gorgeous dramatic look). This product, mascara and eyeliner create my 5-min make-up look for everyday. LOVE IT. Swear by it. Perfect for pale skin tones but the peachy-ness of it would probably be great on anyone. Only thing I don't absolutely adore is the brush that comes with the blush, I have sensitive skin and after a while of use it seems to irritate my cheeks. (It's not awful though, I use it anyway when I'm on the go.) The mirror on the inside top of the compact makes this a keeper in my bag at all times. So incredibly natural I love it. People never know I have blush on, they just think I look great... I only let the ones I really like in on my little secret. Enjoy!

Beautiful colors and texture
-11.18.12
Quick Take: natural looking
These blushes are lovely and have great staying power. I am quite pale and use miel glacé and cedar rose. The miel glacé is great for evening and cedar rose is a lovely peachy pinky color for during they day.
The other colors look lovely but I have not tried as I am too pale and it may be too bright on my skin.

Miel Glace - a pale girl's best friend
-09.20.12
Quick Take: luminous sheen, natural looking, just amazing
If you have fair skin, you need Miel Glace. It looks totally boring and brown in the pan, but it's pure magic on the skin. It's a gorgeous soft pink with just a hint of shimmer on the cheeks. A perfect and natural flush of color that never looks clownish on even super-pale skin. I am somewhat of a blush snob and really only used NARS or Illamasqua, but Miel Glace may be my all-time favorite. It is such a versatile color that seems to go with every look - nude, pink, plum, peach. I really have not found anything this looks bad with. My go-to 5 minute face is Miel Glace, Lancome's Rich Cashmere lipstick (perfect peachy-nude), and black eyeliner. Always looks elegant and polished. I have blue eyes and somehow this blush makes them stand out.
There is a subtle fragrance to this blush, but the smell is very light and somehow very French. I never smell it once it's on my cheeks though. I use my own favorite blush brush for application, but the one included in the compact is fine for touch-ups.
If I could give this 6 stars, I would. And, I hope Lancome never, ever discontinues this shade. They'd have a mob of angry pale chicks. No one wants that.

Perfect soft pink
-08.25.12
Quick Take: natural looking
Miel Glace gives the most natural, soft pink glow I've found in a blush. I tend toward a little natural redness in my cheeks, so a little color is all I need, and this one fits the bill. It's pink with a neutral slant, goes on smoothly, and lasts.
