When I apply it (sponge on dry) over only my Smashbox primer, it can cover a bit, but the lasting power is very poor. When I apply it (sponge on dry) over my Missha BB Cream (BB cream is somehow similar to tinted moisturizer), my face looks really matte. Almost all the large dark pots on my face dissappear. The coverage is even better than when I use Smashbox primer with MUFE Panstick foundation. However, at that time, my face looks quite unnatural! The good points are that it goes very smooth and that it does not dry out your skin. Overall, I think it's not worth nearly 40 bucks. Sorry.

amazingly natural looking- 11.13.09
Quick Take: non-drying, natural finish, matte
I absolutely love this product! I have really dark under-eye circles, so I use this along with the Lancome concealer, and it makes my skin look wonderful (like I'm not wearing foundation). Other than the under-eye circles, I don't need extreme coverage, but I do need to even my tone a bit and this does the trick.
I cannot go a day without using this (apply it every morning), and I love that I only have to do a touch-up if I plan on going out later in the evening.

Quick Take: non-drying, buildable coverage
My face has become dry, due to aging. I find that the dual finish flows so easly on my skin.
Throwing it away... I've used it for a month or two and noticed a trend that on the days I wea rthis make up (I don't wear makeup everyday) I get dozens of new pimples. I've tried cleaning the sponge, replacing the sponge, etc. No luck... my skin looks worse. Funny thing is the coverage is really good so it covers those pimples right up... but regardless, I don't want any more acne than I already have. Also the scent is SO strong... I smell like an old lady. I think there's just too much extra garbage thrown in.;

Breakout Alert!!- 10.18.09
Quick Take: causes breakouts
Wow, just wow! This stuff broke me out like there is no tomorrow. I really can't say much about this product because all I remember is I was horrified by the breakout that this caused (almost seemed like an allergic reaction) that I returned it immediately. I do remember that it was buildable, and you could get the coverage you wanted. Also, it was in a cute compact you can take wherever u want. But that's about it. With the breakouts this caused me, it is so not worth it. I rather be without foundation. So disappointing!!

I have been using dual finish for 17 years. Every time i have decided to try something different i "always" wind up going to back to "dual finish" And believe me when i say "i have tried everything" It gives an even flawless finish and lasts all day.

I love the way this makeup cover all spots and still looks so natural.Some times I forgot I have makeup on! They have done a great product.

I like this product very much. I first purchased it while on vacation when I had forgotten my powder. I like the fact that it is both a cream-like makeup and a powder. It is not only great to use at home but also when I travel.
I always come back to this Lancome favorite. Every once in a while a product comes along that I'll try for a while (most recently Bare Minerals, which is also good), but in the end I always come back to this. I can get any level of coverage I want (brush on for light, use the pad for medium, and use it wet for heavy), plus it smells so good!
