I would have given this product 4 stars if it weren't for the price. The exfoliator is nice, but you could easily save yourself the money and just exfoliate with whatever you use on your face.
The lip gloss is great. Creamy, but not sticky. It has the thicker consistency of pot lip glosses, but without the extra mess of applying with your finger. I wish I could buy the gloss separately. It's just not worth $32 to get a good gloss and useless exfoliator.
This saved my poor cracked lips last winter. I have the driest lips in the winter but this gave me soft, supple and kissable lips. Exfoliates and nourishes the dry cracked lips back to health.

But the buffing beads don't really seem to do much for me. The included gloss is very nice, and lasts for a surprisingly long time, but all in all, this probably wasn't worth the price.

I always have such a hard time with my lips. Its my problems spot, Id say. They're always dried and on the verge of cracking, so finding something I like (That works) is a rare occasion. I loved the buffing beads, they work wonders. Just like the box says. And the balm wasn't too bad either. I wish they'd sell this stuff separately. But it wasn't that big of a deal for me. I read a few reviews that described the balm as "minty"........I HATE MINT. But didn't hate the taste of this...if it was a minty taste, its very subtle. The balm goes on light and non greasy, and feels great. If your prone to dried lips and cracking Id Highly recommend this Duo!

Sometimes my lips start peeling and need to be exfoliated so my lipstick goes on smooth. This set works for that. The lip gloss is good to keep in your purse. I don't think this was worth $30 though, so I'm rating it low.

Quick Take: non-sticky, non-waxy, effective
This is one of the best lip treatments I have tried. The scrub has just the right consistency and texture for gentle exfoliation. The moisturizer is very thick so you only need a little. It penetrates and deeply moisturizes your lips but doesn't leave it glossy. It leaves a sort of dewey matte finish. I think the price is excellent for two products compared to the other lip treatments I have seen.

I bought this some time ago and actually forgot I even had it. I'm going to start using it again but, I am not holding my breath for results.
My first experience with these products was, as you can probably tell, not great. First, I tend to not look at what tube I grab and just open it up and squeeze and... if you grab the scrub like have of the tube will come out and if you grab the balm nothing will. I have wasted a lot of the scrub this way. Secondly, I was using the scrub and balm religiously and I was still getting flaky dry lips. I don't feel like the scrub worked well enough. I've tried using more product, using it more often, scrubbing harder... nothing seems to change the outcome which is chapped, flaky lips. Lastly, the cost is really high. I mean... the balm will last forever since it is sooooo thick, but the scrub? This is a very pricey item for what I have experienced as half bad (scrub) half good (balm) product.
I do really want to like this product (and I really want it to work since I cannot return it because I lost the receipt...)
So, I'm going to get back to it and see how it goes this time. I will update if I manage to get any positive results.

I wrote my last review after only using this product once. Now that I've been using it for awhile I feel the need to write yet another glowing review. My lips go through a never ending cycle of being dry and flaky, no matter how much chapstick or lip balm I apply. I've tried other messy exfoliators that do no good, but this one actually works. The exfoliating beads paired with the AHA create the perfect combination of exfoliating power. The silky lip balm really does have a beautiful satin finish and it leaves your lips feeling super soft. I use this every few days and my lips are perfectly smooth all the time now. I used to only be able to wear lip gloss because lipstick only accentuated the dry flakes on my lips, but now I bought new lipsticks and they look great on my newly improved lips. I love this product and it's such a great value since you get two good sized products.

totally cured my dry lips- 07.19.09

My lips go through a daily cycle of being dry and flaky and then I pull the dry skin off and they are red and irritated and sometimes bleed, but then they are soft and supple. Then the cycle repeats itself the next day. I've tried many lip scrubs and this is the only one that works for me. The peel is so amazing it instantly got rid of the dry skin on my lips and left them perfectly soft. The scrubbing beads weren't too abrasive and AHA really helped to exfoliate my lips. The super silky balm made my lips shiny and soft and very natural looking. It is very moisturizing and good for your lips as well. This set is a little pricey but you are getting two separate items so it's not as bad as it seems and it's definitely worth every penny.

I really love this product! I used it after i came back from Hawaii and i was searching for something that woiuld exfoliate my sunburned skin off and i found something for my lips instead. WORKS WONDERS!!!- 07.03.09
Quick Take: absolute perfection!
My lips have always been dry and "flakey" and have literally tried every product ever invented to help my problem...which was awful, but ever since I've tried this product, my lips have never been softer! Best of all, I can put on lipgloss without having to pick at the peeling skin hanging off my lip first. My lip glosses now just glosses on perfectly!!! THIS WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE!!!!
