A light lotion. It does smell a bit different then the perfume-but together they smell amazing! I always recieve compliments.
Ther perfume tends to wear off quickly-so it's nice to have this lotion to add back just enough fragerance as the day continues.

I love this lotion. I had not intention of buying it- just happened to smell it and was hooked. The smell is amazing, but so light you can wear other scents over it.
I would have given 5 stars except for two things:
1) My skin is dry by night again. The cold air outside and the central heat inside just sucks the moisture out of my skin. I have very dry skin in general- this is probably won't be an issue for most people. And it will be perfect for the summer. Some people re-apply lotion at night anyway, I just happened to not have been one of those people previously.
2) I don't know why this is not available in the firming body emulsion or body butter like so many other scents from philosophy. It's never to early to start preventative measures and I would have liked to have used this in the firming variety.
