Quick Take: sheer coverage
I don't really have too much to say about this product. I did like that the coverage was sheer and didn't cake up my skin. I do have oily skin, but the powder didn't seem to worsen or improve my skin throughout the day. It does seem to work well if you want a sheer powder that won't add weight to your skin.
I have incredibly sensitive skin, and have tried countless different pressed powders. Most make me break out, or even make my face burn. This is by far and away the best pressed powder I've ever tried. It keeps my skin looking and feeling great, and stays beautiful without caking or drying out. It says to use it with a brush, but I feel that defeats the purpose of having a compact, so I use it with a standard puff, and it works great!
This product does an excellent job particularly when used in conjunction with the other Amazing products. Amazing is definitely my all time favorite and these products are the only ones I use.

the best setting powder ever- 01.08.09
Quick Take: sheer coverage, oil-absorbing, reduces shine, setting power
There is no substitute for this item! I've looked everywhere, the size of the compact and texture and staying power of the setting powder make this item a staple in my purse. Why is it so hard to find in stores?!!
I have bought this powder twice now and I love it. It does not get cakey when reapplying throughout the day and is very sheer but absorbs oil well. It also waterproofs makeup and keeps everything in place. I have very fair skin and it is very hard for me to find powders that do not look orange-y on my skin. This one is great. My only complaint is that the compact is sooo small and has such a tiny amount in it. I want a bigger size! Also, both compacts I have had busted, leaving a powdery mess all over my bag- I hate that.
Amazing Cosmetics Powder Set is a good powder about absorbing oil. I have very oily skin and I carry this powder with me for touchups throughout the day when the oil starts to seep through...it returns my face to a matte, non-oily finish. I don't use this as a setting powder over my foundation because of its sheerness, but it makes a very good touchup powder that doesn't get cakey even after numerous touchups.
Buy this in the set! Much cheaper, and with this stuff a little goes a LONG way.
I have to stress that ive tried many translucent powders as I tend to have oily skin with visible pores. I couldnt believe it was still my skin after I put this on, it was flawless!!!
The PowderSet works with other brands of foundation too not just the Velvet Mineral Foundation. I set my makeup with this powder everytime I go to parties and wendings and it never fails. I don't have to spend time going to the ladies room to check my face or worry about oil and shine.
This is a must! I love how it stays on all day and it's so transluscent/sheer cover. This sets your primer and base or foundation! Very natural looking and not cakey feeling.
In general, I like this product. It is waterproof and it keeps makeup on even when I go swimming. It is a great foundation setter because it absorbs oil and is unnoticeable. My only complaint is that this product only lasts about fours hours in between applications.
