This powder is nothing special- you can find similar powder for much, much less money at the drugstore, but if you want a quality case with a good feel to it and a nice mirror, this is the powder to buy. Please note- there is no brush or puff included with this powder, and nowhere to put one in the case,

the best powder set ever

I have a very oily t-zone and I live in the sunniest state of the USA,Nevada. So you can imagine how many expensive and brand name powders I have used to eliminate the shine but none of them came even close to this one.Last year after some searching and reading many reviews I decided to give it a try and I'm so happy that I did.It works magic on my face even over the sunscreen .No shine with a very soft finish , not cakey or dry and doesn't change your skin color to grayish or dusty even after 7-8 hours.I have medium skin and it doesn't have any color on my face, just make me look more fresh and healthy.Both my sisters become fans and purchased it right after seeing it on me. Highly recommended.

Quick Take: a keeper!
Really like this product as a finishing powder! I have very fair skin, and it hard to find powders that aren't too dark or skew too pink, yellow, etc. This one if perfect for me -- and has a wonderful finish. Not sure how it would work on darker skin tones ...

I have never used any type of product to set my foundation other than powder in the past; but this works so much better. When I use it the morning; I won't have to do another major touch up all day. I used to have to at least twice. I'm incredibly shiny and oily and this keeps me mostly shine free, my make up place, and a perfect matte finish. It is very light though, so if you're not light or fair, don't purchase unless your going for the Casper look.

I got a mini size of this and am almost out as I have HIT PAN seriously and it's hard to get any product out but WOW it looks airbrushed when applied over foundation and especially works extremely well when your skin tone changes alot and your foundation remains a tad darker than you and apply this over it and VOILA problem solved. I found that using this with a mini duo fibre stippling brush goes on lovely...IDK if I will purchase the actual size but maybe when I completey run out of all my setting powder then I will return to this but I have tons of setting powder to go through and I like this better than MACs setting powder btw =)

GREAT for setting concealer under the eye. The powder doesn't sit in the under eye wrinkle and emphasize it like other powders do. Does not alter the color of the concealer.

And I've tried them all. It has been very difficult for me to find a pressed powder that matches my fair skin, and doesn't make me break out. This is the only powder I've found that meets both criteria.

This powder is some for lighter skin tones and for colder weather, but when you get more tan it does show a little bit. When I'm tan I don't tend to wear foundation though so it's not that big of a problem. I like using this with tinted moisturizer so that my face isn't too dewy.

I just got this! I used it to set my Too Faced concealer (which I don't like btw), and also around other areas of the face, but it sorted left a pigmented white layer on my face. I don't think I like it...maybe it's good for lighter skin tones, but why is it called translucent/colorless then?

i bought this to use as my on the go oil/shine powder and i dont like it. it goes on very white, even when you use just a tiny bit of it. i use laura mercier setting powder in the morning but the jar is to big for travel. i will not purchase this product again

I use this to set both concealer and tinted moisturizer or foundation. Rather than using a brush, I use a latex free makeup sponge and rub it in the powder, then press it over my t-zone, followed by bronzer all over my face, and my makeup is set. As you age (even in your twenties), you really have to be mindful about using too much powder, especially in dry areas. This will not make you appear cakey, and it truly is transluscent and almost colorless. I use a clean side of the sponge for the next application, then I throw it away once all clean sides are used. This way, I can make sure the product stays sterile and will last longer without accumulating bacteria. You will not be disappointed with this used in this manner.

This is really an amazing product. It sets my foundation without smudging and my makeup lasts all day. I wear a mineral powder foundation and I get makeup lines on m eyelids. I use this powder to set my foundation in the morning and when I touch up later on and no lines. The powder is also very translucent but I have been getting great comments about my skin since using this. It also doesn't make me look like I have on makeup. My skin is dark and this blends without any issues at all.

I've tried a lot of powders and I really have liked this one the best. I'ts not heavy but gives good coverage. I like that it makes your skin look airbrushed yet not overdone.

For the crazy valley heat of southern California, this is trully a make up saver. Dust over foundation or alone and it's sweatproof! Less retouching, less shine. I love it!!

My only issue is that this compact does not include an applicator. I know the directions say to apply with a brush, but sometimes I need to just grab the puff & take care of business. Otherwise, this powder is lovely. Translucent, light, and just enough coverage.

I have tried tons of setting powders, never at this price level though, and now that I am addicted to Sephora I decided to try Amazing Cosmetics setting powder and it is worth every penny. It makes your skin feel like silk without the cakiness. I use it primarily after concealer and it also doesnt get in between lines under my eyes.
Well worth it, you wont be disappointed. And I consider myself to be a very skeptical gal! but the positive reviews just brought me right into purchasing this!
