Quick Take: milky, moisturizing
I love this stuff! I have very dry skin, though it still manages to break out. I don't typically use this at night. I have it reserved for when my skin feels particularly dry, such as in the mornings. If I use this at night, I make sure to remove my makeup with something else first. Just because it leaves a dewy feeling on the skin, so I want to make sure my skin gets the moisturizing and not my makeup. Definitely going to repurchase!

I am a big fan of Caudalie products but this cleanser I really didn't enjoy. It left a residue on my skin and just did not leave my skin feeling clean at all. It really didn't remove make up well. It was okay on the eye area since it is very gentle. I would recommend their foam cleanser over this one for sure.

Quick Take: milky
Very moisturizing and gentle on my combination/sensitive skin (which was especially sensitive due to some use of Clinique products that had damaged it and left it dry and sore). This is an excellent product that is well worth the money. It feels lovely on the skin when applying it and after use. Skin is left feeling smooth and nourished as well as cleansed. Would definitely repurchase and am now a loyal Caudalie customer! Superior skin product (and trust me, I know, I've tried many!)

I have used this product for about 3 months and can fairly say that I don't enjoy it. It is too gentle to wash off anything. Even if I go over my face with a makeup remover prior to using this product, I don't see much benefit from using it.
I find my face is very slick, almost oily after using it, and usually end up washing this cleanser off with another one.

Quick Take: like washing with lotion.
Love Caudalie's lotions, but not this cleanser. I did filter for a gentle cleanser because I have sensitive skin, but this didn't clean anything off of my face. I need a little something to get the grim off. May work for those who don't wear makeup?

I have sensitive skin and was recommended this product in store. It is extremely gentle and my skin feels fabulous after using it. The only downfall is that I don't think it is very effective at removing my eye makeup, maybe because it is a little TOO gentle. Still pleased with this product overall.

I use this every morning to clean my face in the shower. I never use soap on my face as it dries my eyelids out. This cleanser keeps my skin clean and moisturized without any complicated regime.

I am devoted to this cleanser. I have had "30s skin" for a couple of years now - too dry one minute, breaking out the next, and increasingly sensitive - and went through all kinds of foaming, expensive cleansers. The first time I used this, I did get kind of red and blotchy for several minutes, which I thought was strange, considering how gentle it is, and I only write that in case it happens to anyone else - for all I know, it was just my skin that day. But if it does happen, try to give it a second chance. The next time, it was as if the balance of my skin was changed - now, it has a soft feel, even tone and doesn't seem nearly as reactive as it used to, and I'm only halfway through the bottle. My routine is effortless now - this cleanser, and then some moisturizer, sometimes a serum. It removes my makeup, I don't feel tight or dry, and I swear that I haven't been breakout-free like this in at least 10 years. Geez - can I gush any more? I love this cleanser. Other details: minimal, clean scent, and a milky texture with zero foam.

I have sensitive skin and this cleanser does not leave my face feeling dried out and thirsty for moisturizer. It's a very good eye makeup remover, and I like having both those features in my cleanser.

I bought this cleanser because I was looking for a sulfate free makeup remover and cleanser in one to use at night. I loved everything about the cleanser (light, non stripping, non greasy, safe for my acne prone skin) except that it did not remove all of my makeup, even when I cleansed twice per the Sephora lady's recommendation. I wear Clinique Superbalanced liquid makeup. It was disappointing to have to return this one.

I have very acne-prone skin, and recently decided to go the route of gentle cleansers instead of anti acne products. This cleanser is great! It cleans my skin and doesn't make me break out.

This was suggested to me by one of the workers and it is a really nice product. I have very dry skin that gets oily and after washing my face, it did not feel dry. She told me she uses it as a makeup remover and you don't even need to use water. Haven't used it like that but I love how my skin feels after washing with this product.

I have sensitive-combination skin, that tends to get dry and irritated easily with weather change, so I noticed the need of a creamy cleanser during the cold months.
The cleanser is non-greasy, milky with a fresh-fruity-greens smell. It is a great morning cleanser or a leave on moisturizing cleanser after removing the makeup w/ Caudalie's Foaming Cleanser or w/the Cleansing Water. Since I started using it I noticed that my skin is softer and the level of moisture is higher. I agree though that it does not remove waterproof make-up on it's own... I love it though as a final touch to the cleansing routine and for facial cleaning and prepping in the morning...

Quick Take: milky
I have super sensitive skin and this is product keeps my skin balanced and hydrated. It smells yummy and makes my skin velvety smooth when i rinse it off. I use it with my Clarisonic 2x a day and I haven't had any breakouts. I like it better than all the other products targeted toward sensitive skin that you can buy at drug stores because it actually keeps my skin from drying out and afterwards I use a light moisturizer. Worth the money!
