I bought the Play Stick, took it home and went to use it the next day and I didn't see anything in there. I rolled the stick up and up and up and up and then I saw the bottom of the cvontainer. There was absolutely nothing inside of it. It was totallly clean and empty. I had to use something else and take it back over to the store and get a different one. They didn;t have my color so I had to choose a different color. I love the product, but every time now, I am going to look first.

Portable foundation stick- 03.19.10
Quick Take: cream to powder, medium coverage
This is a pretty good foundation stick if you like medium coverage, a powdery finish, and you can find a color that works for you. It blends well and has a nice light scent, but you can definitely tell you are wearing makeup. But, let's face it, that's what a foundation stick provides...great coverage. I use this more for spot concealing but it doesn't quite hold up as well throughout the day like a real concealer since it's not the purpose of it, so I didn't deduct stars for that reason. Overall, one of the better sticks I've used.

i've been using this stick for several years now. i use it to conceal hyperpigmentation before application of i.d. bare minerals foundation. it doesn't clog my pores and you can really control the coverage.

I apply the play stick with a foundation brush to avoid that "overdone" look. Over my Benefit Erase Paste cover-up, it's the perfect amount of coverage I need (full) without being heavy. Set with some powder, it can get a little shiny by day's end with my moderately oily skin, but nothing that a little pressed powder can't fix. It doesn't smear or melt away all day.

I've used play sticks for over a year now. It's got good coverage and It feels really nice on my skin. Through my past use of this makeup I've adapted the way I use it to fit my makeup needs. For instance, i tend to like they way this stays put if I use a primer first, but it's still looks equally nice if i only use my sunscreen/moisturizer. One thing i recommend is that you definitely make sure to use a solid moisturizer. Because this is a cream to powder cosmetic, if your skin is dry or flakey at all, this makeup will not blend right.

I was really looking forward to trying this product because I love benefit and it got good reviews. However, I was a little disappointed. First of all, I thought it was expensive for the amount of product you get. Second I got the lightest shade (spin the bottle) and it was a little dark on me (I am very fair skinned). Third it made me look really oily and feel slimy by the end of the day. But, I did find that it had a nice scent, it was really blendable and had good coverage. Overall it was average, but I probably would not purchase again.

This stuff is pretty great - when I first put it on (and blended with a brush), I was so impressed with how easily it blended and how natural it looked. I thought that it was too good to be true and that it'd break me out. It didn't! It is also the best match to my skin color I've ever found in a foundation. The two things that bother me is it really doesn't "turn to powder" and it rubs off a little bit.

I used to use Loreal foundatio stick but it's been dis-continued. I decided to splurge a little on myself with Benefit's Play Stick. I LOVE IT!! My complexion has been healthier since I've been using it. And it smells so refreshing. I will definitely be a lifetime user.
