CAREFUL Bismuth Oxychloride! Use Matte not this!!!- 03.17.10
Quick Take: bismuth oxychloride (bad), don't buy, bad for acne
If you get this Bare Minerals that has been around for year it willl have Bismuth Oxychloride. Which is very bad for you. The new Matte Bare Minerals does not and is much better for you. However it cost a couple dollars more and you get less. Spend the money on the new matte the old stuff is not good for acne, because of the Bismuth Oxychloride. Or go with another brand that does not have Bismuth Oxychloride or main base of mica. Trust me just google Bismuth Oxychloride. The new Matte stuff is pretty good. I like it a lot better. I do think less of Bare Escentuals after finding out that they put Bismuth Oxychloride in their main foundation. Many other companies don't.

This must be the best facial make-up ever. Don't be fooled if you're trying for the first time. Apply with a good quality full brush, allow to warm to skin while applying the rest of your make-up. It warms to your skin for a beautiful finish. This is a must have. Just find your correct shade. I purchase one shade darker for summer.
Pros:Does not cause breakouts or irritation, buildable coverage, foundation and concealer in one, reduces shine for about half the day, fast to apply.
Cons: Does not keep shine at bay all day long. Seems to have a "luminous" sheen for something descibed as a "natural finish" foundation. I find that the luminous aspect excentuates the visibility of my pores and amplifies any scars or uneven texture in my skin. I tried the matte version and did not have this problem.
Love this! Never had the "i.d" makeup before..Usually with my foundation my skin is oily after a few hours but this lasted all day with NO oily skin.

I am so glad that I finally found a foundation that gives me coveage without making my face feel heavy or look as if I have thick makeup on. My face actually feels so much cleaner, lighter and pretty since I began wearing Bare minerals foundation. I am proud to use your product and I tell everyone I meet about it.

Quick Take: buildable coverage, natural finish
I love the coverage that BareMinerals foundation gives me. Blemishes are easily covered and it takes only two minutes for me to apply all of my makeup. However, I do feel that my face has a sheen to it at the end of the day. I am not sure if this is due to the makeup or my oily skin.
The very best most natural looking foundation I have ever used LOVE IT!!!

I have tried so many makeup brands. Smashbox, Nars, Pureminerals i could go on but this makeup i got recently, has made a differnce now i get so many compliments on my complextion, and im so thrilled that it looks and feel so wonderful on me im in love.

Quick Take: makes my flaws more obvious
I have not used bareMinerals foundation for a couple of years and I am a little disappointed. It is supposed to make your face look "flawless", but all it did for me was to accentuate the lines in my face and my pores. I did like it before but not now. I don't think I will buy this again.
So I watched the informercials for this stuff for months but was super skeptical. I have super fair skin that has pink undertones and had never been able to find foundation that worked for me, all the other fair stuff was light enough but too yellow. From the infomercial it seemed too good to be true but I really wanted to believe it so finally I started asking friends if they had heard anything about it and found that many of them used it. So I gave it a shot. I have been using it for 3 years now and I will NEVER EVER use other foundation again. I however do not find the need for the mineral vail, I have combination skin and the powder is enough to control the shinyness, infact when I do get a lil oil mixed with it I actually like it better, it looks more natural. I do get a lot of compliments on my skin and some people done even believe that I wear make up. So if you are one of those women who watches the infomercials and think its too good to be true, TRUST ME, its not.
I LOVE BARE MINERALS!!! =)

My friend introduced me to BE about three years ago and I bought the starter kit. I loved it from the very beginning--especially after I got used to the application process. I've bounced back and forth with other things, but I keep coming back and this time I'm back for good. Nothing makes my skin feel as great as BE. The coverage is amazing and the makeup is so light--it feels like I'm in my own skin and I love that feeling!

Awesome!- 03.15.10
Always my staple, will never use another foundation-so natural looking and covers EVERYTHING!
I love this powder make up and will never use liquid (or even another powder make up) again! I have been using for a long time and am glad they finally changed the way the powder is dispensed. The new dispenser opens and closes so the powder doesn't go all over the place or get wasted.
