I LOVE this foundation. The price isn't bad at all and it doesn't look blochy. It is easiest to apply with their foundation brushes from BE. I love the brand and its all very easy to apply, but this got me started on BE.

No to the foundation.- 02.09.10
I gave this foundation a 3, because I don't use it at all. I want to love it, seriously, I do. But I'm such a huge make-up buff, that I always prefer liquid foundation for flawless coverage. HOWEVER, I will completely swear by their bronzer, Warmth and their blush in FLowers. I also think they have the best lipgloss at Sephora (Buxom) as well as their eyeliner. I'm just not into their actual face makeup (foundation, concealer..)
I never used to put on foundation until I've noticed two of my girlfriends looking so fabulous and healthy. Both told me that it's Bare Escentuals they are using and they explained to me what it is, including that it's not itching. I was so excited that there might be a product out there for me. I bought a starter kit and have been using it ever since. Love it, can't do without it. I feel so much more confident when putting this product on, even though I only use the foundation, mineral veil and mascara.

this foundation is not just a foundation is amazing! i dont have frekles or pimples so i never found a reason to wear foundation. I tried this bc my husband bough me a set and the foundation came with it, ever since than my great skin just looked perfect!

Great coverage if you do not have bad skin. Use plenty of moisturizer before applying or it will leave your face looking ashy.

This product is one of my fav's! For the longest time i couldn't find a cover-up or foundation that matched my skin tone without the effect of clogging my pores. Being a teenager I don't want acne. Then I was given a Light Starter Kit from Bare Essentials and wow did it work wonders! It is perfect! It covers my skin to near flawlessness and doesn't cake up or streak. Now I use it everyday before school and constantly get compliments on my skin. :D Also if i have a bad zit or red blotch, this product covers it completely! Thank the heavens for this product!

I absolutely love this foundation and cannot see myself using anything else. It is so natural and lightweight with great coverage. And with the addition of Golden Tan to the color choices, I have found my perfect match! Thank you Bare Escentuals for creating a product that allows my skin to shine through rather than be hidden beneath heavy cosmetic products.
Finally! A makeup line that doesn't make me break out, is easy to apply, and makes it look like I know what I'm doing! All of the Bare Minerals products are a "must try"

Quick Take: natural finish, even, there really is spf
I really love this foundation, and how it doubles as a concealer. NATURAL FINISH: I usually have dark circles beneath my eyes, and that is not a worry anymore! I don't get asked, "are you wearing makeup?" anymore, it just looks so natural as a concealer and a foundation. EVEN: Some foundations are so streaky and un-natural looking when i put it on, but this is even, and just perfect! THERE REALLY IS SPF: There are a lot of products that say they have spf, and then I end up getting sunburned, but this is true to what it says, it really does have spf.
I really, really like this foundation. I have found as I have aged that the foundations I used when I was younger have a tendency to look cake-y and make my wrinkles and lines more prominent. This powder foundation goes on so smoothly (over Smashbox primer) and actually seems to reduce the appearance of the little lines around my eyes!
This is the best foundation I have found. It covers beautifully and never looks "cakey", plus it diminishes all of the fine lines in my 40 plus skin. The natural SPF is a nice bonus. I also like the fact that you don't use your fingers to apply it, so there is less stress on my skin (no rubbing or tugging.) I like their multi tasking minerals and the eyeshadows as well. All of the makeup stays on all day and washes off easily -- excellent product line all around!

No worries about the 3 oz liquid restrictions, and the SPF 15 protects for most needs. Great in hot humid climates as well as the frigid cold ones. Less weight in the suitcase no leaks, and it is so easy to use. I've been using bareMinerals for 2 years now, can't imaging using anything else!
With this foundation you can have a barely there look or a fuller coverage but still look totally natural, its all about layering it. the best part is that it doesn't clog your pores and it keeps oil under control!!!! I have even slept with this on and it doesn't break me out!!! And it always looks so natural people don't think i have makeup on. they just think my skin is naturally beautiful haha...just make sure you get the right shade...don't try to fake a tan with this... spend the extra on the warmth or the radiance!!!

I really want to love this product like everyone else does, but i've been using this for 3 months now and I am not satisfied with the color & finish.
Pros: makes my skin a little smoother
Cons: skin looks dull after doing the whole routine(perhaps due to wrong shade). My oily skin gets even oilier about 30 min after application. If I apply this around my jawline, my sensitive skin gets itchy.
Golden medium seems a bit light although it was recommended to me by one of the associates. I'm going to go exchange it for one chade darker.

I love love love this Bare Minerals Foundation. I started using it over a year and a half ago and I will never go back to using my old foundation. This is so lightweight and goes on easily with great coverage of any imperfections or blemishes. I recommend that everyone give this product a try, you won't regret it!!
