Good product it's better for those who are a darker beige or darker skin tone bc for the lighter complexion it gives you a reddish tone. Tint isn't needed for light skin just stick to original min veil

My friends swear by this stuff and so I bought it but honestly I felt it gave me too much of a glitter effect.....maybe if I didn't have fine lines that are starting since I'm 37 it would be ok but I felt it accented my fine lines and thought the bare minerals make up alone gave it enough of a dewy glow. I can go without this and will be returning it to the store.

I have a somewhat light tan skin tone so I use the Mineral Veil Tinted. I love using this as the final touch to give my skin a smooth, air brushed look. It really does make a difference and would highly recommend this.

great for oily skin, keeps my liquid foundation in place all day. it only takes a little bit, I pretty much just lightly dust it on my t-zone. very reasonably priced. super light weight. very pleased how matte my skin looks!

I've tried this Mineral Veil, the compact Mineral Veil with SPF, and the other loose Mineral Veil with SPF. I prefer this one. Some thing with the SPF Mineral Veil makes my BareMinerals foundation underneath oxidase weird on me. With this non-SPF formula, it looks natural again and great!
If you are worried about sun exposure and protection, find a good SPF that works well with the BareMinerals line. I have found that Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46 works for me.

my second time purchasing this veil cuz I vaguely remembered that it was pretty good last time I used it. But for some reason, second time around this veil did not work well at all. I looked so cakey and unnatural with this powder. It left me looking all powerded up even if I just applied a little amount. Very disappointed. The only good thing is that it's cheap but I dont think i'll purchase it again.

this is the perfect powder to finish your foundation mineral power. i love this! it goes on smooth, lasts forever, and really sets my entire face makeup. this is really a MUST for anyone who uses BM mineral powder.

Not sure if this powder really "hydrates," but it defintiely doesn't highlight dry patches, which is good for a powder. It's a bit too matte for me-- I prefer the shimmer of the Illuminating powder as I am very pale and use it in place of a bronzer. As all BE products do, it makes foundation last longer. Overall, a decent purchase but not one I'll likely make again (simply due to personal shimmer preferences.)

I wanted a powder that won't emphasize dryness and deepen my cracks and lines. I don't want to look like a cracked desert floor. This is more moisturizing than most so I'm keeping it and its doing fairly well, BUT, some times I just can't put it around my eyes even with all my Parisian Darphin moisturizers.

I'm not a big Bare Minerals fan, but Mineral Veil is really good. The ingredient list isn't scary AT ALL, in fact it's simple and great (it's a corn starch base, not talc), which is the reason I buy it, and it's a lovely setting powder. If you're looking for coverage, look elsewhere. This is a simple finishing powder that can be dusted over plain skin for a slight mattifying effect, or used under foundation to grip it a little bit, or over foundation to 'set' it. The original is the way to go, and for twenty bucks it's so worth it because it lasts and lasts. I have dry skin and this doesn't dry me out. My skin is clear, so I don't need foundation generally, but I still find myself dusting this on just to keep things looking a bit more even and slightly airbrushed. It's also fabu dusted over cream blush. Honestly at this point I've tossed all my Bare Minerals except for this product and Buxom lip gloss. It's a keeper.

Overall this is a good setting powder for the face. I use the original Mineral Veil and have used it with Bare Minerals Loose Matte powder and other brand liquid foundations. It doesn't get cakey and looks fairly natural. It keeps oil at bay through a good portion of the day, and touch ups doesn't disturb the makeup. I do not like to use this under my eyes to set concealer as it seems to get darker. I'm fair skin tone, so it may be ok on darker tones than fair.
