Good product it's better for those who are a darker beige or darker skin tone bc for the lighter complexion it gives you a reddish tone. Tint isn't needed for light skin just stick to original min veil

I started using Bare Escentuals last summer. I didn't really think that the Mineral Veil did anything for my skin until I took a picture recently. Once I saw the photo I couldn't believe how flawless my face looked. My skin looked like it was photo shopped to perfection! I now use it everyday.

I like this product, it absorbs oil throughout the day, and it mattifies the T-zone area.Although it would be nicer if it had at least spf 15 in it, that's the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. RECOMMENDED for people with oily skin!

I love this product as a finishing powder! It's so light and never looks cakey. I put it on my nose, chin and forehead before my barescentuals foundation to absorb excess oil during the day, and then I also apply a thin layer over the top of my foundation to set everything. My only gripe - don't go overboard with the application or you may find that your face looks too shiny. And not in that good, radiant way.

Much prefer original Mineral Veil- 03.16.10
I use all Bare Escentuals products, from skincare to makeup, but I was really disapointed with the HYDRATING mineral veil. The texture is much different than the original. I found this to be very "corn startchy", kind of gritty, and it creates a dust cloud that you can't help but inhale when using it. Love the original mineral veil, but the moisturizing is a fail.

Very nice, but not as much effect as I was looking for. I can't tell much of a difference, but it does give my face a nice finished look, which is how it's described. I need a little more oil-absorbing powers in the t-zone though... Overall, a really nice product that does what it's supposed to.

Hand's down the best powder EVER! Sooo ultra fine, it perfects your face to a beautiful air-brushed finish and lasts all day! Surprisingly enough, my skin still looks great somehow with this powder even after an intensely sweaty workout at the gym! Its worth even more than what it costs, so great value!

Luminating Mineral Veil- 03.11.10

I wasn't sure which Mineral Veil would be right for me, so I got the Luminating Mineral Veil, and the regular and tinted, both with SPF. I wasn't so crazy about the warmth the Tinted Mineral Veil gave me, and the regular Mineral Veil did not do anything at all, except for softening the two sides of my nose. So, I tried the luminating one. I really like the Luminating Mineral Veil, because it really gave my face that lighter, feathery/airbrushed look. I looked great :). The only cons are that the glitter annoys me a bit; I don't know if it can be used as an everyday product, and there is no SPF, although the Tinted and regular Mineral Veil are both available with it. Also, although the Mineral Veil absorbed the oil on my face, it did not take care of my forehead. I think the old name, Feather Light, is more appropriate for this product.

A great finishing powder that also provides a natural looking "glow". The first time I wore it I had several people comment that I was "glowing" and how great they thought my skin looked. They even teased me about being pregnant (which I'm not! haha).
