Quick Take: soft bristles, light coverage
I've had this brush for around 7 years. First, I want to say that the shedding does not stop. Even after 7 years of use with spot cleaning after each use and regular deep cleaning of the brush, the brush DOES NOT stop shedding. Honestly, I'm surprised there is any bristles left on the brush because of how much it sheds!! For this reason alone, I would never buy this brush again if it breaks.
I do not use this brush for my bareMinerals foundation. However, I do use this brush for other all over face colors and highlighters, blending, etc. For these purposes, the brush works great. I have pale skin and makeup shows on my skin easily. I need a brush that puts on the most subtle of makeup, and this brush does just that.
I think the brush is soft, unlike bareMinerals' kabuki brush. I don't find this brush scratchy, pokey, or irritating in any way on my skin.

great portable brush for light to medium coverage

I got this brush to use with loose mineral foundation. I really like it for two reasons. First, it's on the small side so it's easy to pack in my purse if/when I need to. Second, it's soft and doesn't grab a lot of foundation on the tips. This means I get a more even application and a thinner layer of makeup --- which I like. Great for light to medium coverage. If you want fuller coverage quickly this may not be the right brush for you.

Quick Take: not worth the money
I bought this brush after viewing the bareMinerals video and am very displeased with it. I have never spent this much money on a brush but couldnt wait to try it after seeing the video. I feel it actually does not pick up the bare minerals foundation very well. It pushes it around the container. I wouldnt bother purchasing this brush, you can get one for far less money. Nothing special about this brush and not worth the money.

This brush works well with the BE products. The only complaint I have is that it is overpriced. I am not convinced that you HAVE TO use the BE brushes for application. As long as the brush isn't too cheaply made or of poor quality, any foundation or powder brush will do.

not good replacement for Full Flawless Face Brush

I went in to Sephora to get a new Full Flawless face brush for my foundation and saw this one was a few bucks cheaper. However, after a few applications I've noticed that it does not give the same coverage as the FFF brush but may be priamily used for contouring or blush.

My last brush like this lasted well past it's time, and was waaayyy overdue for a new one. I don't know what I was waiting for - this brush is beyond soft and a perfect finish to my mineral make-up.

Quick Take: soft bristles, natural hair
I love this makeup brush. I own about 6-7 Bare Escentuals brushes, several of which are the large face brushes, and this one is my favorite. It picks up Mineral Vail like a dream. As far as the shedding issue... It does shed a little on occasion, but not enough to make me stop using/buying them. It think that is just the nature of a natural hair brush versus synthetic.

I really love bare minerals makeup, but I dislike their brushes. They shed all over me when I apply makeup and the bristles began to fall out after my first use. I have a lot of their brushes, but I definitely wouldn't buy them again.

Quick Take: natural hair, soft bristles
I have sensitive and break-out prone skin which normally leads me to buy new brushes every few months - but I just bought this Flawless application brush (along with the Bare Minerals foundation) and I am in love! It's soft and made with good quality. It works perfectly blending in the mineral makeup. I always end up with a smooth, fresh look and my the brush doesn't "soak" up all the foundation. I also have noticed less breakouts and the brush hairs do not irritate my skin. The brush is almost the length of my hand (see picture) but is big enough to do my foundation and the mineral veil. I love the fact that it doesn't waste product by trapping it in the bristles. This is a must have if you are getting the mineral makeup!

I only use this brush for soft, all over powders, finishing powders, and mineral veil.
Not for foundations or blush.
Cleans nicely, has soft bristles, and i have used mine for 3 years!

This brush was too soft and felt a bit thin. Barely picked up any product and I had to keep going back for more powder and reapplying over and over before I got minimal level of coverage. Plus the bristles kept falling out and leaving straws on my face. This brush is going back!
For a better brush, go with the Sephora Classic Mineral Powder Brush #45.
