Rough and prickly, sheds like an animal

Quick Take: natural hair
I really wanted to like this brush; however, I just can't. The bristles are coarse, scratchy, pokey, and irritate my skin. I for one do not like an uncomfortable sensation like this when I am putting on my makeup! I want the application process to feel as good as I look. Also, this brush sheds like crazy. When I am done putting on my foundation, there is so much hair on my face and shirt that it looks like I own a cat or dog, which I do not. I spot clean this brush each time I use it and deep clean monthly, and still the brush is not any softer and keeps on shedding. Unfortunately, I will be buying another brush.
On the plus side, I do like the coverage it gives. The brush holds enough powder to cover my face easily and, of course, it's easy to use.
On the down side, the pros do not outweigh the cons. I will be buying another brush.

Good coverage

This brush provides great coverage when using with foundation powder. My first brush lasted 4 years... Recently bought my second & wish I had done it earlier!

Works wonders

After trying to use a different brush to apply my bare minerals foundation I caved and bought the full coverage kabuki brush and it was such a good investment! It makes the coverage better but still natural, it's really soft, and it's nice and small for travel purposes. I know a lot of reviews said this brush sheds a lot but I have had no problems with mine shedding and I use it daily. Overall this brush is a great investment if you're really trying to get the best effect from bare minerals!

Quick Take: natural hair, soft bristles
I have used many name-brand brushes over the years and never have I loved a brush like this one. It's super silky soft!! I love the fact that I have not experienced annoying shedding like other brushes. I also enjoy the little case that comes with it! If you do not own a brush, or dislike the one you have--you will not be disappointed in this one! Try it!

Poor quality for price

The brush sheds hairs when you first buy it. The bristles get stuck in my eyelashes and sometimes actually go inside my eye. Not to mention all the bristles that end up on my body and clothes that I don't see sometimes until I'm at work. The brush gets hard and rough very quickly and replacing it is becoming a burden. It does not clean well and cleaning it only seems to make the brush harder.

I get great coverage from this brush. It's very gentle on my face. I do not have a problem with the hairs falling out like I've had with some of my other brushes (not bm brushes) I get just the right amount of nice even coverage with this brush. I love it.

Quick Take: natural hair
Easy to clean but sheds tiny pieces of bristles when applying mineral foundation. I usually put a towel across the shoulders to catch any so they don't end up on my clothes or skin (where they itch like crazy). Bristles get harder with age and may soften up for a couple of days of cleaning but return to being hard soon after. Stays pretty put together - no fraying, breaking or separating after long time use. Decent application of mineral powders.

I've been using this brush for 2 years (had to replace it twice) and its impossible to clean more then a couple of times because the hair gets really destroyed and dries differently, leaving it scratchy the more you clean it. Not worth the money. I'm definitely looking for a brush not made of goat/animal hair next time.

Quick Take: excellent coverage
I have brushes from other companies and have found Sephora come very close, but this Bare Escentials full coverage Kabuki brush still is my favorite. I keep these for years and clean them regularly and they last.

I find this brush a bit rough on my face. The bristles shed like crazy. Sometimes an entire clump come up and out all at once. I'm looking for a new kabuki for my Bare Mineral Foundation.

This brush isn't my favorite. I find it a bit rough on my face and it sheds like it's going to grow in a new coat. Going to be looking for a different brush for my Bare Minerals.
