I use a lot of different compact powders but I tend to always gravitate back to Nars. This powder is very light and doesn't cake on my face. I have very oily skin but I need to wear make up to work since I am a beauty advisor for DFS. I have acne and acne scars on my face and it's always been like that since high school. I just use primer, concelar and then top it off with the Nars pressed powder and I'm good to go. Especially now that it's summer and it's so hot, this powder doesn't make my face look like its melting. I gave it 4/5 just because I would like it to hide me scars but since it's very light and won't cake my skin I am very much pleased with this product.

This has got to be one of my favorite purchases from sephora! I've owned two things from Nars and I've been very satisfied with both. This sets in my foundation very well. Doesn't even look like I have powder on!

I love this powder! When it sets I'm no longer shiny and it has great coverage! When I'm not wearing a lot of makeup I like to put on this powder as a "powder foundation" this is deff my holy grail

My favorite make up guru Camila Coelho uses this powder and I decided to copy her! Best decision ever! This powder is very light textured, easy to blend on skin when applied and I love the classy thin and velvety package! My new favorite, hands down.

Quick Take: reduces shine, sheer coverage
I use this to touch up my makeup throughout the day. It helps to keep oiliness at bay. I wouldn't say it's the greatest powder to ever exist. It sometimes looks a little powdery on my skin, but it works pretty well.

I would've given it 4 stars but it would appear that I've hit pan, so I guess I like using this product. Initially, it really helped to matify and set my foundation but with dry skin, it's not really the thing to use as it looks cakey. :( The boyfriend points out my makeup being too "heavy" every time I use this product because it didn't leave too natural a finish

Like all of the Nars products I have tried my skin
always looks ageless and flawless. I have been
fortunate to have tried and loved Nars seaweed face
mask, Nars illuminating face lotion, love, love!!!
as well their blushes, under eye concealer etc...
I feel I have always purchased exactly what their product
promises and some. All their products for me feel as though
the end result took no effort at all!!!! Just recently I tried
the Nars pressed powder and once again it was and is
fabulous, light and natural looking when applied!

Quick Take: good coverage
I use this everyday instead of using a liquid foundation, which has been breaking me out a lot lately! I find that this has a great coverage, sometimes a little too cakey, but nevertheless doesn't get into my super fine lines under my eyes that liquid foundation usually does. :)

The first time I bought this powder, I bought it in "Beach" which worked for my skin during the winter but spring is around the corner and I decided to go with "Mountain" which has a nice, soft glow that looks really good paired on top of my foundation. It feels almost as if I am wearing nothing when I wear this powder -- it is so lightweight! The sponge that comes with it is horrible -- I didn't even try to use it and it IS a small amount of product since you can hit pan very quickly. However, I think it is worth the investment as I am someone who needs full coverage due to acne scars and this powder takes care of any redness that my foundation does not. I would give it 5 stars if it had more coverage!

I bought the lightest shade, and it was just too yellowy-light. And the next shade down was too dark. I wanted to try something different. but I'll have to keep using the Smashbox pressed powder I love.

This is my favorite pressed powder. I've been using it for as long as I can remember, probably more than a decade at this point.
The color I use, Flesh, is perfect for my fair, pinkish skin. When my skin was oilier, I could use this without foundation to tone down shine and even things out, but my skin has gotten more dry over the years and I only use it with foundation these days. It sets foundation beautifully and gives a nice matte finish without looking unnatural. It makes a perfect canvas for powder blush.
I do use the applicator that comes with it and I've never had any trouble. The applicator lasts just as long as the pan itself. I do replace it when I hit the bottom of the pan, though, because I find that, over time, the corners become too hard-packed and aren't useful anymore. That said, I think that's true of every pressed powder I've ever used.

I have been using this product for years and I dont think I will ever switch to a different product. I love how shear or how much coverage this product can give you. I am able to use this without foundation and it still gives me a natural coverage and no cake-y look! I highly recommend this product to anyone with a shiny t-zone! It fits nicely in my purse, too :) SO worth every penny. I love Nars

This powder is not bad but it's not my favorite and I wouldn't make a 2nd purchase. It's average with oil control for my extremely oily skin. And I notice that even though it's suppose to be a very fine powder, it doesn't glide over my skin smoothly and does mess with the texture of my make up just a bit. ( I have extremely oily skin, so that's probably why) Not bad but I can see a difference when I compare to other press powders. But does look natural.

Does the job. Eliminates shine and sets foundation nicely. Not cakey unless of course you pile it on. This shade was a little lighter than I thought it was gonna be but it's not so noticeable unless I put a lot which I don't. Love NARS packaging and its probably one of the reasons why I love this product so much. Lol. I'm light /medium complexion with yellow undertones.

I picked this up to use as a touch-up powder, or to brush on and set my foundation. It works well as the latter, but trying to directly apply it with the applicator does nothing. It looks cakey and dry when applied this way, while providing no coverage whatsoever.
