I've used this product for years!- 11.12.09
This product is the easiest DIY (do it yourself) when it comes to facial hair removal. I use it for my upper lip, chin, and side burns. It would cost me $30 each time I had to get my whole face waxed every 2 weeks. For $45, poetic lasts a couple of months. No ingrowns! Happy Waxing!

Works great once you get the hang of it, however there isn't enough wax in the kit for a full leg wax, which was frustrating. It would have been cheaper to just go to the salon and get a full wax done.

Quick Take: worth the money for small areas
This is the least messy waxing product I've tried. It's great not to have fabric to stick to the wax, and any stray bits come off easily, more like candle wax than a sticky goo. The smell is pleasant, and the dark turquoise color much less disgusting than the old yellow of other waxes. It takes a long time to melt, mine was in the pot for at least 15 minutes and still not done. I used what was melted and that was fine. The trick is to put a fairly thick layer on, at least 1/4" with neat edges, so that pulling is easier. I recommend it for facial and toe waxing, and I figure it'll pay for itself in 4 applications. There doesn't seem to be enough to even finish my lower legs.

Quick Take: effective
let's just be real here for a minute... i have really thick coarse body hair. When I shave my legs and underarms it stays smooth for about six to eight hours and then I get the female equivalent of five o'clock shadow. This was my first time waxing and while not a completely pain free process, the ten hair free days that followed were the best days of my life. Unfortunately I am now in the ingrown hair process but you better bet that as soon as those little monsters get long enough I'll be waxin' em' out again. I don't know why I didn't start waxing long ago. This product is easy to use, my only complaint is that there's not enough wax! I need a refill.

this wax was pretty good. it didn't always get all the hairs which got rather annoying/painful. i am going to try the nads hardwax and see if it is any better. this product isn't too expensive and is better than paying $45 at a salon.

Cheap but not always worth it- 10.24.09
I do not recommend buying this to avoid paying for bikini or Brazilian waxes in a salon. Yes, it works great. However, on the bikini area, it hurts a LOT more than the wax most salons use. And if any of it drips onto other hairs that you're not ready to wax yet, it can be incredibly painful. This may save a lot of money, but it takes significantly longer than going to salon and is much more painful. I had to have my boyfriend rip off the wax for me, and it would take around an hour to finish considering the time you have to wait for it to dry and having to reheat the wax a few times.

Love, love, love this product! It is so easy to use and a lot less painful than I had expected. In response to how to keep it at the right temperature while using it, I boiled a pot of water and left it sitting in the pot while waxing and had no problems! This is definitely a cheaper alternative to expensive salon waxing!

best at-home waxing product i've used yet. takes a while to warm up, but once it does, it stays warm and easy ro manage. i use it for my upper lip and chin and i only had to tweeze a minimal amount of hairs after finishing.

This waxing kit is fantastic and works great with sensitive skin like mine. The only thing I wish they would do is just sell the replacement wax instead of having to buy the whole kit over and over again. It seems kind of wasteful.

Great result, a hassle to use- 10.09.09
It works well if you follow all the steps in the instruction properly, ie. you really have to cleanse and oil the skin first before you put the wax on. Otherwise, it'd be super hard to remove all the wax from your skin. It's not hard to use, but kind of time consuming. Granted, the end result was pretty good, and it's a cheaper alternative to going to spa.

Quick Take: pure torture!
Unless you know what you are doing with hard wax, I do not recommend this product. It works when the temperature of the wax is right, you have the right amount of oil on and you wait the appropriate amount of time. When all three things don’t line up…it is extremely painful (and I have a high tolerance for pain). Look into the Bliss bikini electric razor.

Quick Take: wonderful, simple, effective
This kit is awesome, once you have used it once, its easy to follow steps and heat it up. I didn't have the same problem with the wax cooling down to quick, I left it in the pot of hot water while I waxed. I find its really hard to pull the wax off yourself though, and would suggest you get a friend to help, especially for facial waxing. The wax itself does a great job, and if done properly, will remove all the hair in the area and with a minimal amount of pain. The smell of the cleansing solution and oil is nice and calming.
