Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use, economic
I have curly, kinky, frizzy hair and this product has been a lifesaver for me. It's quick, easy, not smelly and a little goes a very long way so don't be too intimidated by the price tag. Sometimes I mix a little dot of this stuff with one of my other thinner hair creams.

But it's just ok for me. I don't like using it on wet hair. It does not give enough slip or feel sufficiently emollient. I like using a small quantity on dry hair on the second or third day after a blow out. But overall, meh. Will not buy again.

Quick Take: easy to use
Added this to my regimen, First, let me say that i have tightly coiled curly thick hair. I apply this when my hair is damp when i am shaping my curls. It's nourishing and leaves the hair soft. I would use a little a add more if needed. Worked great on my hair (thick and textured), but for thinner or straight hair it could be too much if product is over applied

Love this stuff...it will save you from the frizzies and if your hair gets "flat" looking. It takes a little practice to determine how much to use and how to apply evenly. Wet your hands first, apply a PEA size to your palms and rub together. Rake through your hair from underneath and comb immediately into place.

Where has this been and why hasn't anyone told me about it. It's great for those of us with thick curly hair whether we want to wear it natural or straight. A small amount goes a long way. I have thick hispanic curly hair. If I don't take my hair section by section not all of my hair gets covered and I'll be left with parts without any product which = BAD HAIR DAY! I section my hair into fours and then take one section put a very tiny bit on in smaller sections until my whole hair is done. When I say a tiny bit i truly mean about less than a penny probably even half that if you are going to do small sections. If your just going to do the four sections than its more like nickel size. I think this product would last me at least 6 months and I use it about every other day. LOVE this I can't ever live without it.

This seems to work far better than anything I have tried.
I apply it when my hair is dry after I use my regular styling products. It looks best after it has had a few minutes to sink in.

Quick Take: very moisturizing, good for textured hair, penetrates hair
I've been using this for a few weeks now and it's a good product. I'm a black woman with natural, textured hair and this moisturizes very well. Doesn't provide much hold, but sometimes I use this with a little hair gel for more curl definition. A little goes a long way. Penetrates my hair well so I don't need to use every day. I use this more for a hair moisturizer rather than a styler.

I bought this product to use as a moisture/frizz cream. It wasn't really up for the task. I tried using it alone and in a routine but neither way seemed to make a difference. I liked the consistency of the cream, but there was nothing special about the smell. The way it worked into my hair felt a bit heavy. The tube is the weirdest contraption ever. It is like soft, pliable metal or something, think of a toothpaste tube but less flexible, and every time you use it, it stays in the shape of whatever way you squeezed it and the label on the outside starts to chip off with each bend. I don't know why the manufacturers chose that type of tube but I don't see how it is better to use in any way, unless the material makes less of an environmental impact? I was overall unimpressed with this and for the cost, I was expecting better.

This was a great, non sticky, not to greasy hair product. It has a nice smell, too!
It really mositurised my hair and a litte bit goes a long way. The bad side is that is product contains mineral oil but not everyone cares about that.

Quick Take: thick, goopy
i have long curly locks and am forever on a quest for the perfect combination hair stuff that mildly tames while defining and defrizzing my curls. this doesn't really do anything, and it doesn't smell nearly as nice as the rest of the phyto line.

Really added moisture and shine to my curls, when I had it styled that way. Also tried it on my hair while it was straight and it worked okay. But I saw better results when I had curls.

This is supposed to be a moisturizing styling product. I have really thick, curly, coarse hair that is very dry. Using this product made my hair very soft and moisturized, but it didn't do anything for styling. I had to use something else in addition. I returned it.

I have been using PhytoSpecific Moisturizing Styling Cream for about 8 years now. It works perfectly with my naturally curly hair. This calms the frizzies when my hair is wet and even dry (!!) and my hair still has it's natural feel. I love this product and recommend for anyone with curly curly hair. It may change your llife...I know it changed mine!!

This product does exactly as it says. My hair is chemical free and I was experiencing frizzy ends whenever I decided to put heat to it. Now that I using this it doing the job of taming my frizzy ends. I love this product. I will definetly buy it again.

I have used PhytoSpecific Moisturizing Styling Cream for about 8 years. It makes my long dread locs soft and shiny. No other product gives my hair the softness with just a small dab of cream. My hair can dry out and get rough quickly, PhytoSpecific brings it back instantly. Great product.
