I recently purchased this shampoo from the closest Sephora store, knowing that I wanted to try it because of how well the Vital Force Cream Bath works. Ladies, I washed my her with this combo and my hair is so soft and silky. I am sold!!!! I also relaxed my hair with the Phyto relaxer Index 1 and I am very pleased. I will not use anything else.

This product is excellent. My hair was going thru an extreme dry phase but since I have been using this and the Vital Force Creme Bath regularly, I have been getting lots of comments on the beauty of my hair. Patrick Ales was so right when he said "There is no bad hair only badly treated hair" Every women can have beautiful hair with phyto products.

FIST, I MUST SAY THAT I LOVE THE SMELL OF THIS SHAMPOO. THE VERY FISRT USE, YOU WILL FEEL A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR HAIR. I AM A AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN WITH RELAXED HAIR AND THIS WHOLE LINE HAS DONE WONDERS FOR MY HAIR. TRUST ME IT REALLY DOES WHAT IT SAYS! EVEN WITH THE HIGH PRICE, I WILL PURCHASE THE PHYTOSPECIFIC LINE AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Didn't lather too much with the first wash, but the second it lathered up very well. When I rinsed it was detangled like I had already used a conditioner as well. Absolutely love this shampoo.

I am a Phyto fanatic! I must say that this shampoo is the best out of ALL! It will work even better if you use the conditioning creme bath; ugh you will fall in looooooove. Go ahead and get it, you won't regret it. *In the event that you run out; squeeze as much as you can towards the bottom and cut the top w/ a scissor. Sounds cheezy but you'll find a lot in there and also you will get all your monies worth! ;) Enjoy!

This shampoo is pretty good, but I don't particularly care for the smell (it doesn't last though). I don't think it is anything incredible or amazing though. I've only been using it for a few days & my hair is noticeably smoother, but I haven't seen any serious changes or improvements. We'll see how things go with this tube. The product itself is very runny & liquid-y, but it lathers well. Not sure if I will purchase it again.

The formula of this shampoo is absolute perfection. I adore the fragrance; I adore the manageability it gives my hair; I adore the fact that I never have to use a separate conditioner or serum afterward. HOWEVER...I despise the tube that it comes in! It's wasteful and difficult to dispense the product from, especially when you're running low. Considering how little shampoo you get for the price, that's a shame. Therefore, if my review was strictly based on the shampoo formula alone, I'd give it a full 5 stars.

I read some of the reviews about the shampoo not lathering well enough. I have found that if you rinse really well first and then apply the shampoo you get a much better lather especially the second go around. I am loving the way my hair feels after using the Vital Force shampoo and conditioner. I think will continue to use this product for as long as I can afford to.

I really like the PHYTO line. I switched to PHYTO relaxers 3 months and since then I've decided to use mostly PHYTO products and I've seen a huge difference in my hair. It's much softer, has more body, and looks much healthier. This shampoo is very nourishing and good to use even if your hair isn't particularly damaged.

It was very thick and hard to wash out. I used it for my hair and my own as well. I had to use another shampoo just for the lather in order to wash it out.Maybe I didn't use it correctly. If someone has any tips on this product please post.

I love this shampoo!!! It makes my hair feel so soft. I use the entire line and just added Phytospecific Integral Hair Care to my repertoire. After the first shamoo, the lather isn't all that grand, but once you repeat, it's AWESOME. It comes in a "small" bottle, but you only need a quarter-sized amount. Works wonders!!!

I too had a little trouble with lather, but don't anymore. This shampoo is great staple to have if you want healthy hair. I also use the vital force conditioner. I get tons of compliments on my relaxed hair. I also use their relaxer and its non-damaging to the hair.

Difficult to lather but still a Good Shampo- 12.07.08

I had a difficult time getting this shampoo to work up a proper lather, but it turns out I wasn't using the shampoo correctly and I was at the point of being disappointed at my never-fail hair care line, that is until I carefully read the directions: You are meant to create a lather with a small amount of shampoo and water - Then apply it to your hair. If your hair is long, then you keep applying the lather until you cleanse your hair. It really works! Don't give up on this wonderfully effective shampoo, which is actually not expensive at all given that it is highly concentrated!

Perfect Shampoo for damaged/brittle hair- 09.17.08
I've tried them all and this is the best shapoo in the phytospecific line in my opinion. Its so rich, and moisturizing. It leaves the hair soft, manageable, and easy to comb though. The last thing you need when you're experiencing damage is a shampoo that leaves your hair stripped and tangled. Its so conditioning that sometimes I skip my conditioning treatment and just use a leave-in.

I am a hairstylist and do alot of chemical processes to my hair and anyone out there that does the same and your hair is damaged and dry this stuff is the best! It will turn your hair around after just a couple uses! No kidding this line of hair products is the best out of all the lines i have ever used, and that is alot! Def spend a little extra and get this!
