Quick Take: foamy, milky, exfoliating
All Murad products are pretty good. It does reduce mild redness. I alternate between this & Murad acne/anti-aging wash. Keeps my skin pretty clear & even tone. Your better off treating your face with products so you can use less make-up. (pore clogging)

I have very sensitive skin and this product doesnt make my face feel tight or dry I use it every morning in the shower. I would definitely recommend it to a friend to use.

This is a nice gentle cleanser for the morning, when all there is to wash off is moisturizer and oil from sleep. It doesn't dry my skin like other cleansers in the morning. I think it's calming the redness, but I think the redness was from dryness.

My teen daughter has sensitive skin and this facial cleanser is perfect...it's soothing, but cleans the pores well. It's not drying at all and she has fewer breakouts. Love it!!

Not sure if it reduces my redness, but it doesn't add to it which is big with my pale skin. Very gentle, nice light lemon lime smell. Cleans everythign off - even my foundation. I use it twice a day and my skin feels great. Gel consistency - doesn't foam or lather.

I have mild rosacea, redness across my cheeks and nose, which makes it difficult to find cleansers that do not irritate my skin. This soothing gel is perfect. I does just what it says: soothes. I noticed a difference almost immediately in reducing redness.

Greatest Cleanser Ever!!

I've been battling steroid-induced rosacea/perioral dermatitis, so I had to find a product that didn't aggravate the condition but still effectively cleaned my skin. I've been a fan of many facial cleansers in the past, but my changing skin's needs have required me to look for replacements... But this is the greatest cleanser I've EVER used!!!! Absolutely soothing and refreshing, yet 100% effective rinsing makeup and impurities clean off. And as an added bonus, it smells subtle but distinctly fresh. Even after my condition resolves itself, I will continue to use this as my cleanser because nothing has ever felt so good on my face and rinsed so clean!

It's a decent face wash and creamy, however I don't think it does anything for the redness. I think maybe it just doesn't irritate any more, but that's it. I don't notice a difference of any sort. So not really worth the price.

I have used this product for the past three weeks. It cleanses without leaving any feeling of tightness, while leaving my face with a refreshing yet soothed feel. Face also feels rejuvenated. It seems to be economical too, as a small drop does my entire face and neck. On my first use, I took the equivalent amount of my previous cleanser and had to use it up on my back and entire upper torso! My face also has a softer feel. I am pretty happy that I switched to this one.

I have dry, sensitive, 44-year-old skin and MAJOR redness problems. I've tried every cleanser under the sun and this is the gentlest. I use it with the sensitive brush on my Clarsonic, and nothing else compares.

Quick Take: drying, nothing special, gel
I went through almost an entire tube of this cleanser--which took about 4, 5 months--and my conclusion is that I will not be repurchasing. First of all, it's not very good with makeup removal (and all I wear is tinted moisturizer, powder, and blush)--and this is after I use a makeup removing wipe on my face. It is indeed drying (maybe not as drying as some cleansers), but it is still drying on my oily/combo skin. I did not see any improvement with redness. The gel is very hard to get completely off your face when rinsing, and I prefer a time-saving cleanser. Also the smell isn't too great; it makes me think of a mojito with too much alcohol in it. So meh. Nothing great, especially for how much you're paying. I like the Murad Time-Release Acne cleanser better.

Quick Take: long lasting
This is a really soothing, gentle gel cleanser. I tried using the Murad Acne cleanse before this, but it was way too drying and actually made my acne appear worse because of all the flaky dead skin that was building up. But this cleanser is wonderful, and a little bit paired with my Clairisonic classic lasts for a really long time.

Have been using this cleanser for over 4 years. Can't live without it! Excellent cleansing, gentle to redness-prone skin and leaves my face soft and smooth, never dry and tight. One bottle lasts a long time but you may want to order 2 so you have one by the sink and one in the shower.

As a red head with oily, problem skin this gentle cleanser is so handy for my mornings. A small dab of this in the morning helps prep my skin for makeup, reducing redness and irritation from blemishes, general sensitivity, or sun exposure. Small issues are improved past the need for concealer from my morning wash!
Combining it with a more stringent nightly cleaner balances my oil levels and acne treatment to an optimal level, and this product works great for covering trouble in the morning. For some reason this is the only cleanser that works for me not only to tone down the redness i have on my cheeks... it also smoothes and prevents pimples for me without drying my skin which is huge! I changed to another murad cleanser and my skin immediately got all crazy and breaking out, changed back and my skin got better again... not changing ever again this is my cleanser for life!!!! --- Oh and USE A SUPER SMALL AMOUNT - LIKE DIME SIZE TO CLEAN YOU FACE, YOU DON'T NEED MORE THAN THAT

I have rosacea and this cleanser works amazingly. it cleans my skin thoroughly and doesn't dry it out. If your skin is inflammed as mine can often be, it is really soothing and calming.
