Love this primer!! This was my second purchase of the green primer that does a great job of reducing redness. The velvety feeling allows your foundation to go on so smoothly. Also, the pump dispenser allows every last drop of primer to be used so none is wasted, especially since it is pricy.

I was hesitant to buy this product .For i've never used a primer before , why start now . Based on the reviews I decided to check it out . I'm glad I did ! It feels like velvet on my skin . I have very sensitive skin , and always had red in it . No more my skin looks flawless and fabulous .

i have the green one which adjusts redness. this product glides on so smoothly and you only need 1 pump to cover your face. I love this product because it does help your makeup stay on all day! You can put it on your lids so your eye shadow doesnt run. The best thing is that this product doesn't clog your pores which is great. I recommend this product to all my girlfriends!

The MUST HAVE for everyday make-up users- 03.09.10

This primer is good stuff. I've tried other primers, but the lightness of the silky, matted primer really had me sold.
First of all, I have really sensitive skin. Applying make up directly on my face after all these years, did such a disservice to my acne problem. With this primer, it became evident that it was protecting my face, even after long hours of make-up wear.
In addition, I have slightly patchy redness on my cheeks, and the primer has helped to diminish the look of it. However, if you have issues with rosacea, you should consider other treatment instead of relying on this primer.
Thirdly, the use of this primer has allowed me to apply less makeup, thus spending less money on foundation and cover-up products (I have terrible scarring on my face, so I need a lot of cover-up. NOTE: BENEFIT'S BOI-ING IS ONE OF THE BEST PRODUCTS EVER! My scars turn purple-ish brown, and this product covers even those!)
Lastly, I have oily skin, so on the days that I don't want to wear makeup, I still like to apply this primer because it helps a lot with how oily my skin becomes without drying it out.
Overall, great product! I'm already on my third bottle, going on my fourth. If you like makeup, get this primer!

I bought the color blend primer becuase the green and purple ones actually made my skin look those colors. While my skin felt silky smooth and it evened out my skin's coloring, once I applied concealer and powder foundation, it caked up under my eyes, and made my pores look worse - actually my skin looked like small whiteheads were exploding everywhere, NOT attractive.

When I put the primer on my face it didn't spread smoothly over my face and it didn't blend well under my foundation. It made my skin look yellowish.

I originally bought Tarte's Clean Slate primer, however, it did not even out my skin tone or keep my makeup on all day.
I went to Sephora intending to purchase the original Smashbox Primer, but when I spoke to a consultant she suggested I use a color correcting primer being that I have some redness in my cheeks.
I LOVE the way Smasbhox primer feels. It makes my skin look so smooth and soft. As for color correcting it doesn't get rid of the red completely, but tones it down to some degree (that's why I rated it a 4 instead of 5 stars).
The color correcting is oil free which is also a plus.

this helped my foundation stay on longer, however, i could not tell a difference with skin tone, covering freckles, etc. was also surprised that it made my dry spots much more noticeable. gave it 2 stars because i felt it should do more for the price.it did not cause breakouts though the way i had feared

I have pale, but very ruddy skin and this primer neutralizes the redness beautifully, but is sheer at the same time. I have used green primers in the past that actually showed through my foundation! This doesn't do that. (And I wear Bare Minerals foundation)
