really helps control my reddness
-05.16.13
Quick Take: evens out skintone, lightweight, fast-absorbing
Funny I was very reluctant with this product because of the price but so glad I finally tried it. It really does control my redness and does not affect my acne. I have already bought this a few times and will continue to, WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!

green smashbox primer

Quick Take: lightweight, fast-absorbing, makes your make-up last all day
This has been a staple for me daily for years. I don't think it does much to correct the redness in my cheeks, however it makes my make-up stay perfectly all day. The clear one made me break out, but this one is perfect!

It can be cold or hot outside and I always have really red cheeks. My skin is light and the red is really distracting to people they think I have rosacea or think Im blushing but Im just naturally that way. This help under foundation or all by itself to control my red cheeks.

Best primer
-05.14.13
This is by far the best primer I have tried. I usually invest a lot for foundations and I would get frustrated when after couple of hours my foundation would look awful on my forehead area. So a sephora sales person suggested this primer. I was skeptical but purchased the travel size of this primer. The difference is fantastic! My foundation (right now I use benefit) stays on for over 8 hours and I almost never reapply it. My skin looks flawless and the primer makes my foundation 10 times better. Not to mention that a little of the primer goes a long way. I've been using the travel size bottle for over 3 weeks and it looks like it's never been used. Bottom line, this is absolutely worth the money!

Covers most of the redness in my face and evens skintone. Feels sandy when applied if you put too much on.

It works
-05.08.13
Quick Take: evens out skintone, lightweight, fast-absorbing, reduces redness
It really does even out my skin tone, making the red spots almost vanish (I purchased the green primer). I like that it also makes my skin so smooth, making my makeup go on easily. It's not super expensive either. I really like that.

This is my holy grail primer
-05.06.13
Quick Take: lightweight, evens out skintone, fast-absorbing, color correcting, price worthy, amazing
I use the correcting primer in green and it is amazing for anyone with oily, acne prone skin, that also suffers from hyperpigmentation! It has a great consistency and is definitely worth the price for the amount of product you get.

Nice item
-05.02.13
Quick Take: lightweight, evens out skintone
I have very oily skin with blemishes at times. So far this has smoothen out the overall tone without getting oily or shiny. However it does take more than amount suggested to cover my entire face well.

Not great
-04.29.13
I ordered the green but I am returning it. Did not cover up my redness at all. Plus, when I used my Kat Von D foundation with my beauty blender on top of the green primer, it flaked off. I had to rub all the flakes off and then re-apply my foundation. Super weird. In the process of returning it.

Wonderful Product
-04.27.13
Quick Take: evens out skintone, lightweight
I recently bought the green tinted one in the 0.4 oz size just to try it out. I didn't notice much of a difference with the product by itself but when I put my tinted moisturizer over it, you could barely see it! I am slightly bothered by the smell of it though (it isn't strong or anything and it goes away once you blend it in, so it isn't that big of a problem).

Rosacea cover
-04.25.13
Quick Take: lightweight, evens out skintone, fast-absorbing
I love the Smashbox primer. I use the tinted green primer to hide the redness from my rosacea. I have tried more expensive, mineral-based primers, but now I am sticking to what works.

Great for combatting slight redness!
-04.20.13
Quick Take: evens out skintone, lightweight, fast-absorbing
I've always tried to hide the redness on my inner cheeks with concealer or more foundation which usually ended up looking cakey, but not anymore. I simply take the smallest dot of this and put it only on areas where I want the redness to fade. It doesn't completely get rid if redness but it certainly reduces it and since I started using this I've been using less and less because my redness has started going away on its own, this could be from other random products but either way this primer does what it says. I'm not sure if I would use this primer alone as it doesn't help my makeup last particularly longer, so everywhere that I don't apply this I put on the hourglass mineral veil primer and I'm set. Also, if I have a breakout that looks red, aka more noticeable, I put this on to make it disappear!

doesn't color correct
-04.17.13
I had high hopes for this products. I have rosacea and so my cheeks are red. I was hoping the green would correct that, but it didn't help at all. Also the consistency is kind of strange, slightly grainy, and not smooth. I got the small travel size and I'm glad I did not get the full size. Will not be repurchasing.
