Quick Take: dual-ended, reusable
For some reason it was discontinued and so I opted for this Ellipse Sponge. It is ok,,not sure if it is really worth the money invested. There were not many to choose from on line, so I selected this one. Will not be re-ordering this sponge again, - it seems to soak up my drop of foundation so I will be trying another name and style in time.

Expensive but worth it. They last for months. Make up goes on smooth and they blend perfectly. I always keep a back up on hand. Wash out with cleanser and they do not fall apart.

I like to use sponges for applying or "going over" foundation. This sponge is better than all others. The shape allows you to use it for concealer, foundation and cream bush. It doesn't crack or get holes like the Laura Mercier brand.

Quick Take: dual-ended, reusable
it's not a horrible sponge! but, it just doesn't compare to this other pink, higher priced sponge that i'm not sure i'm allowed to mention. Pro: it does apply smoothly (with a swiping motion), and using the round sides, it can easily pick up excess in places you've applied too heavily. Con: damp or dry, it soaks up product. and it's bouncy, but a hard bouncy. i consider it tough, esp for around the eyes. and i mentioned earlier you can swipe it, but you can't stipple product well with this. it ends up more like "stamping" because product doesn't spread so nicely when you pick it up. Also another pro: it lasts long with care. (but so does this other pink sponge i'm loving, which you can find on this site as well.) buy if its a matter of price. pass, if its a matter of preference.

Great product that applies liquid foundation flawlessly. This is the best sponge I have ever used! The angles allow for easy application and the overall shape makes this product easy to hold on to. I would definitely purchase again!

This is a must have product for me. You do have to wash it often, once a week or so, but it is easy to use and gives great even coverage.

I really liked this sponge. However it's a lot better when you use wet. It's really soft and great for applying makeup. One reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the edge is kind of flimsy and I wish it was a little more stiff so I could apply makeup really close to my eye. Another plus is that this sponge is not as porous so it doesn't suck up all your makeup.

The sponge is easy to hold and applies makeup smoothly and precisely. Great for around your eyes and nose. Cleaning the sponge is a bit tough, but only because it's designed to absorb as little of your makeup as possible, so it doesn't really absorb water to rinse it out.

Quick Take: dense
I absolutely love it. It feels so nice on my skin when I put on my makeup. It's dense and better than using my fingers thats for sure! I hope it lasts a long time.

i loveeee it! this is my second one because i like to have a spare one in case the other is dirty or whatever, let me say that my foundation has never look as amazing as it has with this sponge, only downside is that it absorbs maybe too much product so i recomend to damp it a little before using it... also this is soooo velvety i just love how it feels just massaging it into the skin!
