I really love this set. I had been wanting to try the "hope" products but didn't know where to start. This kit gives you everything you need. My skin has improved so much in just the 10 days I have been using it. Hope in a Jar is wonderful and light. I understand the comments abou the smell, but it isn't a "bad" smell but it could smell better. Don't get me wrong, it does smell funny, but it doesn' t matter to me because this product works. It's light and at first you don't think it will actually do anything but it does. The Purity cleanser is great, it leaves your skin feeling clean and not stripped of all moisture. Thanks Philosophy, I am thrilled.

I love this! Great value for what you get. I use everything that's in the kit and I love getting all of these for such a great price. However the eye cram is very good but I do prefer the Eye Hope. All of these plus Help Me at night make my skin look flawless, clear and just perfect. I love Philosophy products.

I was pleasantly suprised by the overall results of the set. I use all four steps for the best results. This set also includes 3 weeks of trial expholiating masks. After trying them once I will purchase a full set of masks. Even my hands were soft. Both of my sisters use this line as well. We all have different types of skin and we all love this set!

The products themselves are womderful and really did have an impact on my horribly oily skin. The only downside is the HORRIFIC smell of the lotion (hope in a jar). I continue to use it due to results, but only at night so that strangers don't have to suffer through the odor.

THis is a great set to provide all the basics except for night cream. Top eye cream, serum, cleanser and moisturizer in the line. I just can't be without any of these products for one day. THey are gentle, effective, and emollient. Great value!

I decided to buy this set as my introduction to the philosophy line. I had heard great things from people who use it and I'm always on the lookout for something that will improve the look/texture of my combination skin. For the price you get good sizes of all the products. The cleanser is great, it removed all makeup and eye makeup easily and left my skin clean and super soft, not at all dried out. The serum absorbs fast and makes my skin soft as well. The moisturizer feels nice and as for the smell, it isn't great but I didn't get hung up on it because the moisturizer is great anyway. The eye/lip cream is very hydrating also. I have very sensitive skin and a lot of products make me break out so I have been very pleased with this set. I will be a repeat buyer. I can not say how great of a deal it is as well. I highly recommend this kit if you are considering philosophy. And sephora is great as far as returns go so if it isn't the kit for you you will have no problem taking it back.

The only thing, in my opinion, worth buying from this set is the moisturizer. I already knew I liked this buying the set as I have tried it previously with great results.
However, the rest of the set seems...pointless? The facial cleanser did not work as well as I am used to from other products. After washing 3 times in a row with this cleanser, I finally got the makeup off. Usually, one time with my usual over the counter brand works the first time, and I wash a second time for overall cleansing.
The hope is not enough serum did absolutely nothing noticeable for my skin. I wonder if it was intended as some sort of placebo effect.
Hope in a tube just made my eyes sting, and that is the only thing I am sure it is doing. Maybe after some sort of prolonged use something noticeable would occur, but my eyes hurt too much to continue.
The packets that were included in the kit were interesting, and I did have smoother skin after use. However, no visible change.
All in all, the moisturizer is the only thing I liked from this set, and next time I will just buy that product alone.
My skin looks just the same as it did as when I started. And I wasn't asking for much either. Oh well, maybe other people will have a different story.

these just don't work for me at all, which i was very disappointed especially after reading all the good reviews; the face wash was good - my skin feels really clean afterwards, but the eye cream is not hydrating at all - my skin peels after putting on makeup; the serum is not hydrating enough, and neither was the hope in the jar. i am returning this.

i love this kit. my only complaint is that they don't have only for oily skin. i used to use the one for congested skin, but that was too harsh. and the one for regular skin still leaves me a little oily. but i love the way everything feels!
