I received Amazing Grace as a gift from my family. I had wanted to try this scent for a long time so I was excited when I got it. The scented body emulsion cream has a great consistency and absorbed wonderfully into the skin. but the scent is very off-putting on it's own. The spray at first has a very alcoholic scent when first applied. But after it's on it's Okay.Unfortunately, it has no staying power and doesn't last long at all. When layered with the body emulsion, it takes some getting used to. I also decided to then try Pure Grace and got the body lotion and spray. Was hard to tell in the store so I didn't judge it until I used it at home. At first was very disappointed. The smell was almost funky. Over time, I used it as to not waste all the product and it grew on me a little. Over-all, these scents don't live up to all the hype and really take some getting use to.

Amazing Grace scent

I have to admit, Pure Grace is the scent for me, however the amazing grace lotion makes a nice background layer for the Pure Grace parfum. I don't like strong scents, but while I forget I'm wearing it, I get multiple compliments a day on how good I smell.

I love everything about Philosphy products from facial cleansers to body lotions/baths. I personally use Amazing Grace body lotion. I love the fresh, clean scent and it is plenty strong enough. I don't need a perfume spray to layer. My husband loves it on me too!

I liked the fragrance however I found it didn't last long. I did'n expect a perfume but I did expect a light longer lasting sent. It is a lovely sent but I am disappointed. I did return it and going to try another product from Philosohy that was suggested by one I spoke with at Sephora.

i LOVE THE AVAZING GRACE SAMPLE OF BATH AND SHOWER GEL, SO i ORDERED THE AMAZING GRACE SET AND THE FRAGRANCE IS JUST NOT THE SAME AND IS NOT LASTING. IT'S LIGHT AND SOFT BUT JUST DOES NOT LAST PAST THE BATHROOM. I SPOKE WITH THE BEAUTY ADVISOR AND AM GOING TO TRY THE PURE GRACE BODY BUTTER WHICH SHE RECOMENDED FOR IT HAS LONGER LASTING FRAGRANCE.

The lotion not only smells great but it also makes your skin really soft. A lot of perfumed lotions seem really thin but this absorbs quickly but still moisturizes. The scents are nice and clean. Great deal!

I have always had a difficult time finding a scent that smells nice on me. I received Amazing Grace Perfumed Body Emulsion as a gift and was so surprised! I actually had people ask me what I was wearing because I smelled good! That never happened to be before, ever! Amazing Grace is never heavy and just a nice, light fragrance. I'm sure it's not for everyone, but it works for me!!

I love Amazing Grace so much that it has become my signature scent this summer. I recieve so many compliments when I wear it. The layering of the emulsion and then the perfume allows the fragrance to stay with me all day. I was afraid that the emulsion would not serve as a good moisturizer, but I was wrong. I like it because it is not sticky or too heavy.
