I got his. hoping it would keep my making up from sliding off . but if any thing all it did was make my skin feel soft initially.. as the day goes.. my makeup still came off.

I've always heard that this is -THE- primer, so I picked up the travel size to try it out without committing to a full size bottle. The first time I wore it, it didn't seem to do anything. The second time, it rolled off my skin. Yuck. I'll keep playing with it, maybe I can get it to work, but it's very unlikely I'll be buying this one again. So glad I didn't waste the money on the full size bottle!

This product came with a Smashbox cosmetic set (bronzer, eyeshadow, primer). I have tried this primer on a number of occasions and have not been able to tell a difference in the wear of my makeup. I generally have oily T-Zones and this product didn't do anything to combat them as well. When I put this primer on it does feel super soft on my skin which I like, but I do not feel that it makes a difference to my makeup foundation which is Smashbox and powder (dior).
Needless to say will not re purchase.

I got this as a sample with my last Sephora order & had to buy the full sized primer! I have oily skin so shine control is a big problem for me. Halfway through the day I noticed that my skin still looked shine free, and by the late evening I only had to apply a tiny bit of powder before going out, which is VERY good for me. It did lock my foundation on too and everything seemed to stay put much much longer. Definitely a good buy!

Quick Take: mattifying
This stuff is great. Its consistency is that of a thin gel, and it absorbs the second it hits my skin. Literally. I don't have to wait for it to dry before I put on my foundation. In fact, I almost don't have enough time to apply it before it has been absorbed!
I have oily skin and usually a few hours after I put on foundation I need to use blotting papers and powder, but not when I use this primer first! It keeps my skin matte almost all day, maybe just one touch up if I am going out at night. It's great!

I love this product. Bought the trial size because I was traveling and didn't want to check my luggage. I'm still using the trial size almost a month later. Great coverage and makes your skin feel like velvet! This is a great find. Will definately be purchasing the full size.

I simply love this primer! I use to go without a primer, but my friend had it when we were getting ready to go out. I decided to try it, and the application looked flawless. It just looked so much smoother. Definitely a great addition to my make up routine.

I love Smashbox Photo Fnish Primer and the smaller tube is perfect for travel (I am typing this from Hawaii); plus you can get all of the product out of the tube vs. the square glass full container.
Photo finish goes on very smooth and my makeup looks flawless. I drove over 100 miles roundtrip to get this product before my vacation!

I had never used a foundation primer prior to purchasing this product, so it took a little trial and error for me to figure-out the best application. Initially, my under eye concealer would not apply smoothly over this product, but I remedied that by using less primer and allowing it to dry a bit before using the concealer. I am happy with the results of this product; it smoothes and evens the skin and provides a great "canvas" to apply your make-up. It is expensive for the size, but a little goes a very long way!
