I want to love this

But I just can't. It is too sensitive to temperature changes-got melty on a warm day. It also doesn't last very long and I found myself reapplying every hour or so. The initial color, while a little sticky, was really fun and youthful and dewy. For about ten minutes. Then it was just a greasy pinkish smear. It gets two stars because maybe someone who lives in a cold climate won't have to reapply so often, and it really does smell lovely.

Quick Take: long lasting, tinted, nicely scented
I love the color, texture and scent of this balm. What I don't like is having to use my finger to apply it - I always need to have a kleenex or napkin handy when I use it, otherwise I end up with a tinted finger and nail. Why, oh why can't this be made in a stick form?

Quick Take: drying
This was one of my first big splurges for lip products. I can't say I'm disappointed but I'm not totally in love with the "magic" of this lip tint. It works great because it hydrates and you can build the color. The only downfall is that it dries after maybe about an hour and I hate reapplying because I go to school every day and it's just not convenient to be constantly fixing it. It dries quickly but if you're ok with reapplying, this is the lip tint for you. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this but I'll definitely use it up. Nice experiment. The packaging is adorable. It comes in a nice glass twist top container and the cutest blue striped box ever! That was partly why I bought it :).

Love this lip balm. Makes my lips so soft, rosy and shiny. Very subtle and natural rose tint and wonderful rose smell. So yummy! Although pricey it will last for a while.

Pretty color

This is pretty good stuff. It has a really nice color and is decent for conditioning your lips, although I feel like it wears off more quickly than other plain lip balms. For regular conditioning without color I usually just go with Smith's Rosebud Salve. But this Benefit balm is a universally flattering tint. For a low-key look I often use this and the benetint cheek stain.

This stuff is amazing. I fell in love with everything about this product the moment I tested it in the store. It's super hydrating, unlike how the normal Benetint is drying on lips. This balm has a wonderful rose fragrance. Don't be scared of the color in the pot; the color is a universally flattering rosey pink. It gives you just enough color to look finished, but not like you're trying to look dolled-up. My boyfriend loooooves when I wear it, because he's not afraid to kiss me and leave with sparkly gloss all over his mouth.

I admit it is in the pricey side for a lip balm but I really like it since it also has some sheer very pretty reddish stain to it, it last for a while, it smells good and it will last you forever!

$20 is really steep for balm. But if you are going to drop that kind of money on lip balm, this one is the way to go. It smells faintly of roses, but the scent is not too overpowering. It doesn't have a flavor. It has a universally flattering, sheer tint. It's moisturizing without being sticky. And it has an SPF. So if you can rationalize spending that much, it really is the perfect balm.

I love this stuff. Smells a little like roses, gives a nice, natural rosy tint to lips without drying out - and you can layer it if you want more color.
BUT - I was recently informed that they are discontinuing this within the next few months, so, if you like it, you might want to snatch it up soon!

Quick Take: perfect color
I love this stuff so much, I put it on for when I am running to the grocery store or working out because my lips are pale. When I put on lipstick, I put a tiny bit of this on top to give it some shine. I get compliments on my lip color all the time! I'm not a fan of the rose scent, but I'll take it for the product.

Quick Take: drying
I was a zealous convert to the cult of the Benetint Lip Balm. I'd used the regular Benetint in the past and had really liked it (still do), and I thought this would be a great substitute while on the go. So I used this all the time. And the more I used it, the more I kept feeling like I needed more and more and more. After a few weeks my lips were chapped and cracked at the corners and I looked like an elementary school kid in February. There's something about the balm in this that dries out my lips to an extreme degree. I've switched back to the regular Benetint with a different balm on top.
