I first starting using this product 2 years ago. It was recommended by one of the sales associates in a San Francisco store. The shave gel is the best I have come across, I no long suffer from several nicks and cuts that I used to get using drug store brands. I also do not not suffer from any ingrown hair. The best part...you can actually see where you are shaving as it is a nice clear gel when it gets applied and the cool refreshing feeling of it is a nice touch...I recommend it to all my friends.

Anthony Shave Cream vs Gel

I am a great fan of Anthony Shave Cream but when I visited the Sephora store they were out of the cream so the sales clerk suggested I try the gel. Bad mistake! Whereas the cream provides a great shave, the gel fails miserably. It's hard to apply, tends to self rinse itself off the face and leaves my face feeling dry and irritated. To top it off it does not provide for a close shave. I'm taking it back to the store on my next trip to the mall.

I love this stuff. Great for shaving. I thought it would be a little thicker since it is a gel. Don't expect it to foam up because it won't. But if you have sensitive skin, use this plus the Pre-Shave Oil. You will love it.

I prefer gels and this is the best yet. Gels let you see what you are doing and are less likely to fall off in use. This one is particularly slippery, yet feels clean and fresh, even a bit tingly.

I like this better than the Cream

I use this to shave my legs and underarms. I have been a long time user of the Cream, and like it very much. I have coarse hair and it helped the razor glide over my legs with considerably less irritation. But, it's been making my legs itchy lately, so I thought I try the Gel, as it's for sensitive skin. I get even less drag with the Gel, and I seem to be getting a much closer shave, and even less irritation. I've been using this in conjunction with the Ingrown Hair Treatment and Tend Skin (I have hair issues) and I no longer get ingrown hairs or razor burn. Very happy customer. With very silky legs.

I love this shave gel!!! I have been buying it for years. I turned my boyfriiend onto the line and when I ran out of my shave gel, I used his. I've never gone back!! I am extremely sensitive and this not only prevents razor burn on my most sensitive areas, but the razor glides so easily it actually makes is easier and more efficient to shave. I recommend this to all of my friends, male or female.

I started buying this shave gel for my husband, because he needed something that was more gentle on his skin as he needs to shave pretty much every day. He loves it. It feels good on the skin and softens the hairs to get a really nice, close shave. I started to use it too and love the silky smooth shave I get.
