I love this stuff! I got a sample and I definately have to buy a full size. I have very dry fine hair and it feels so soft and full/thick. It smells great too. It doesn't weigh my hair down either.

Horrible Smell- 03.12.10
I got this as a sample with my order. First of all, the smell reminds me of old ladies perfume. It's overwhelming and I could not wash it out! It also made my hair really greasy. I wouldn't spend any amount of money for this conditioner.

Received this as a free sample. I had high expectations for this so call hydrating conditioner, but I was sadly disappointed. First of all the smell was odiferous, loud, and unneccessary. Second, once it was in my hair, it was hard to rinse out. Rinse, after rinse, it still left a noticable film on my hair. Because of that, it left my hair dry, and eventually I had to rewash my hair a few days earlier then I needed to. Overall, I didnt like it and won't be purchasing it in the future.

This is a great conditioner but for some reason it does not seem to be able to detangle and coat my hair the way drugstore conditioners do. I still have to use my Pantene Restoratives deep conditioner to get all the knots out. However, it is, weirdly enough, very moisturizing and my hair is in much better condition now when I get out and dry it. It's just in the shower that it fails to detangle and feel as rich as it looks. Overall very good, for the price could use a little improvement.

I got this as a sample and was really impressed after the first use. It left my hair very soft & shiny-- plus I never had to use detangler, no unruly rats nest for me! I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind that strong Ojon smell.

I can't get past the smell on this stuff. I got it as a free sample and used it once, now my hair smells like my dog when he gets back from pet smart. It smells like dog shampoo!! It may work but the smell is awful.

I used to use Ojon Tawaka shampoo and conditioner and absolutely loved it! However, it's my understanding that they have discontinued these products so I decided to try another Ojon product. I can't stand this conditioner. My hair is hard to brush out after using this product, as though I didn't use a conditioner at all. I'm not sure what is hydrating about it becaue it left my hair dry and tangled and I paid big bucks for it.

I've used the restorative pot treatment in the past, but being a little pricey I decided to switch to this moisture maximizer! I no longer have to blow dry my fine, wavy hair! I let it dry naturally & my hair is so shiny! Makes my brown strands POP! My boyfriend loves shoving his face in my super soft hair! I get tons of compliments on the scent that I love as well! I notice "white canadians" arent too fond of the smell though... it reminds me of Brasil!!!

I have dry hair and I love really thick moisturizing conditioner, and this product is thick and creamy. But this left my hair feeling greasy and weighted down and I looked like I hadn't washed my hair in weeks. In addition, I care a lot about the fragrance of products and this was possibly the worst smelling product I have ever encountered. The smell of this literally made me feel nauseated.

I love this conditioner, it's really the only thing that brought my hair back from the brink of death after getting it highlighted. My hair was so dry after the coloring that it would poof and frazzle and I started to regret getting my hair done. The conditioner, shampoo, and the deep conditioning pot mixture finally got it back. I use Ojon every other day between other shampoos as it has really helped, but I'd like to make the bottles last longer due to the expense. (which is why I'm rating a 4. It's worth it, but at the same time, really pricey.) The smell reminds me of something woodsy, like nuts and tree bark. The bottle says it contains nuts, so that's probably the cause of the scent. It does linger in your hair after you wash it, but I like the smell so that's fine with me.

I got this as one of the samples you get in your online order.... I have long, naturally curly hair that I on a regular basis color/highlight and just about every other day I straighten it with my CHI straightener and those irons are HOT. So, there's some damage done... after one use it made my hair very soft, manageable, super shiny (it made my highlights pop) Didn't weigh it down, it gave life back to my hair!!!! I usually have nasty "cookie monsters" (tangles as my kids and I call them) at the ends of my hair, but I had NONE when I brushed through after I towel dried my hair... Air dried it and it felt wonderful... So soft... Its thick enough to spread evenly through your hair, didn't need too much and I left in for about 5 mins. Even as I washed it out, I could feel a difference. Now here's the bad part of the review... I wasn't too keen on the smell... has this musky cologne smell.... kinda powerful at first and after awhile it dies down and smells decent... And I'm all about products that smell good... If it doesn't smell good, I usually don't buy it.... I am giving this 5 stars even though the smell, to me, is a little too much... Even my hubby said it smelled like Play-Doh (lol). Next time I place an online order or go into the store, I will most definitely have this on my list to get along with their UHShampoo :)
I am writing this the day after I used this and I tell you what, I used my CHI straightener this morning, and it still has the super shine and softness to it that it yesterday when I tried it; it didn't disappear like a lot of hydrating treatments do... No "cookie monsters" and the smell is pleasant. Definitely a must-have!

No Tawaka, but pretty close- 02.22.10

Ask anyone... I'm an Ojon Tawaka girl. I can talk at length about the miracle and wonder that Tawaka is and how it changed my hair's life and therefore my own. You can imagine my despair when informed that Sephora would no longer carry it! The original Ojon line was then recommend. I opted for the ultra hydrating. It's been about a month now.. and I've got to say... I'm happy. It doesn't smell as rich and cocoa-y as Tawaka... but it leaves my hair clean, shiny and still full of life at the end of a grudging day of work. Plus, it doesn't seem to inflamme my husband's psoriasis as Tawaka would do once in a while. But boy oh boy, do I miss Tawaka's earthy chocolatey smell that would emanate from hair when I'd loosen my bun.
