Really Hydrates Damaged Hair
-05.06.13
Quick Take: multi-step, quick results, effective, hydrating, messy, makes hair shiny, expensive but worth it, improves appearance of split ends, works well overnight, smelly, weird texture, hard to use
I've used this twice now. The first time I just left it on for 20 minutes and it did make my hair a little shinier but the difference wasn't remarkable. The second time I tried leaving it on overnight and then it made a huge difference! I have long, straight hair and don't get it trimmed as much as I should. This made my hair so much shinier and more healthy-looking. It completely tamed flyaways and split ends and after I used my flat iron my hair looked professionally styled.
I would recommend this, but it's not all that easy to use. It smells like coffee and crushed nuts and the texture is completely solid so you really have to dig with your fingers to get it out of the jar. Then you have to spend a long time rubbing it between your palms so it turns into a creamy sort of oil, but sometimes not all of it does and you end up with little chunks of balm in your hair which is kind of gross. Plus the whole process is really messy and the smell has a way of staying with you, especially if you leave it on overnight, which you should for maximun effectiveness. But if you're willing to go through the process, I think the results are worth it. I would buy this product again.

Miracle Worker in a Jar!
-04.27.13
Quick Take: easy to use, quick results
This is a wonderful product. It has a strong smell that is not completely horrible; but I will deal with that for the superb result I get! I have multiracial "mixed" wavy, curly (and sometimes frizzy) hair that was badly damaged from when I used relaxers years ago. I am now 100% natural since 2008. I do flatiron once a week and now I wear my hair big, billowy, full and natural looking. NOT the bone-straight look that so many woman of color favor... so it does not kill and fry my hair using heat only once a week. This thick oil is the only one that shows an immediate difference in my dryness. I keep it on an hour while I clean house, etc. then I wash and condition. My hair comes out beautifully, like the hair I had in my teens... :0) Love it! And will always use it.

Not for curly hair

Quick Take: not for curly hair
I have curly, dry hair, and this neither worked as a deep conditioner or as a hair dressing. Jus ttoo greasay. Flattened my 3b ringlets into waves.

Love!
-04.06.13
Quick Take: easy to use
I've been using this product for about a month now, and I'm addicted. It makes my hair feel fantastic, even after the first time I used it. I use this religiously every week, and my hair feels soft and I have significantly reduced damage. I colour treat my hair and heat treat it at least 5 times a week. I also hair model, so my hair needs to be perfectly healthy.
I have a lot of hair, so I use a lot of this product to saturate my hair like needed, but for anyone with average length hair, you won't go through too much. I love the smell, and I highly recommend this to everyone.

Original product
-04.01.13
Quick Take: easy to use, quick results, smell is due to 100% real concentration of origin
This is the original launch product from ojon. The smell is heavenly. Whereas the new adjusted fragrance from the bought out company, eliz. arden, is watered down, does not contain the 100% ojon product. If you want full benefit, buy this product.

Ok

Quick Take: easy to use
It does have a smell as everyone described. Starts off smelling "nutty"', a little while later reminds me of an ashtray. Used it twice, don't notice a difference. Will try adding heat, the next time.

Noticeable results
-03.22.13
High quality product. I turned to this for a postnatal revamp. I was very impressed with the quick results (got compliments after just one application). Not a huge fan of the smell but the texture allowed for a manageable experience considering the long length and thickness of my hair.

I wasn't that impressed with the results. It was really oily going on, and it seemed like it would work wonders. No such luck. And the smell was awful!

Good Product.

Quick Take: hair silky
I bought this a couple months ago to save my dry, color treated, naturally curly hair. This is one of those pre shampoo treatments and it does wonders...or it did for me. The downside is the scent and the time it takes...I think you need to keep this in your hair for 20 minutes but the results are amazing!! My mom was like I don't know what you did to your hair but it looks so healthy today.(my secret: OJON Restorative Hair Treatment!)

I really liked this oil
-03.12.13
Quick Take: easy to use, multi-step
I have used this twice. The first time I left it on 20 minutes, as instructed then washed with the shampoo & then conditioned with the conditioner. It worked great. The second time, I left this on overnight ( was too tired to get in the shower lol ) and got into a shower the next morning and washed & conditioned the same way as the first time and my hair was very dry for 2 days. Maybe it was leaving the oil in overnight but I thought it would just make it softer. Great products but a little pricey for what they do.

Quick Take: multi-step, messy, waxy, over priced
I bought this product alongside with the Ojon Serum. It cost me 70 dollars considering I bought the larger bottles of both and did not mind the price if it was going to deliver good results. I got the new "lighter scent" version and was beyond excited to use it, considering I cut 6 inches off of my hair and had it colored professionally. The salonist told me it would be best to use a product like this to ensure my damaged and dry hair could become healthy.
After researching endlessly I found this product to be at the very top of the list. I drove immediately to Sephora in the mall and purchased it. I could not wait to do my first treatment and do my hair some good.
First off, this product is not a cream as I had imagined. It's a solid mass in a bottle. I had to use a spoon to scrape it out. You rub it in your hands and it liquifies - which is messy. Some pieces stay lumpy regardless of how hard or long you rub the product between your palms. The scent was not great but nothing horrific or unbearable. It took 3 spoonfuls to cover my entire head and I have very thin shoulder length hair now.
It becomes waxy when in your hair and I let it sit for a good 20 minutes. I showered and it was a bit hard to wash out, it seemed like it had "dried" in my hair. I blew dried my hair and styled it alongside with the Ojon resorative serum. The results were nice but nothing close to amazing as I had expected.
My hair came out softer but not silky smooth. It was also easier to style and get good results but it was nothing magnificent and in that sense I mean worth 30+ dollars a large jar. I feel as if I was juped and was half tempted to bring it back for a refund because I had spoke one of the ladies who worked in the store in regard to the product and was told I could do so. But I have decided to let it stand over night the next time I use it in hopes of better results.
Getting down to the point - this is an OK (but messy and over priced) product that delivers mediocre results. I feel I could probably have the same results with a much more affordable product. I will continue using the product until it's gone and I will move onto something else.

smelly melly

the number one default of this product is the scent, it smells terrible. I couldn't get that smell out for a couple washes. I will say that it did leave my hair soft and stronger after a single use

Saved my hair!
-02.24.13
Quick Take: easy to use, quick results, amazing shine, repairs damage
I wanted to grow my hair out but it is so fine and damages sooooo easily. Even with using Wen cleansing conditioner I still needed something else after a few weeks in Florida in the pool. Ojon really delivered. The smell is intense but gets milder after you open it and it gets a little air to it. The smell is a little smoky, ash tray-ish, but this stuff works miracles! I was stunned after the first time I used it. My hair is stronger, shinier and fuller. Will purchase again in spite of the smell.

I tried this hoping for nice healthy hair. The smell is HORRIBLE! I couldn't stand to leave the product on my hair and after I washed it out it had the bad smell. Did not help repair my hair, but made me nauseated from the smell.

So far so good
-02.22.13
I was looking for a treatment for my daughters very dry damamged hair. My sister tired a sample of this and told me to give it a try. The reviews were all pretty good so i bought it. The ladies at Sephora tried to talk me out of it and told me to try Living Proof instead. I did end up buying this. It is easy to apply. My daughter puts it in a few hours before she takes a shower at night. After one use her hair looked better. It was not an amazing transformation but we did notice a difference. I knew to expect an odd smell so we were fine with that. I am anxious to see if it continues to improve her hair with each use. We have only tried it twice so far, but are please with the results.

amazing!

Quick Take: easy to use, quick results
I've used this product once since I bought it 2 weeks ago and I LOVEEE it. I have really dry, wavy, frizzy, course hair that gets really oily at the roots and it's semi damaged from heat treating it every once in the while, but after just one use my hair felt sooo soft and luscious. It left my hair with a subtle non-greasy shine that was really nice and I got compliments on my hair all day! I was skeptical when the lady at sephora reccomended it to me because of the smell. I really was not a fan of the smell like at all, but I decided to take a risk. Im so glad I did! I left it in my hair over night and rinsed it in the morning and my hair felt super soft! over a week later it still feels softer than before I used it. The smell was a bit of a problem, it bothered me for awhile but maybe it will grow on me. The smell isnt a complete turn off though, I will be purchasing the reduced scent one next time.

-02.05.13
I use this product once a week or every other week... I can really tell a difference in the texture of my hair... I love it! It has a sort of funky smell that grows on you after a while. I'm on my third tub of the stuff. I'm a believer.
