I've been using this for years and am finally writing a review. I love this product! I don't wear foundation at all (hate feeling smothered) but this gives me a bit of color (I stay out of the sun) without pore clogging coverage and I can control how much color. Love this!

Quick Take: amazing
I absolutely love this product. I allow my body to get a natural tan via the sun, however, I ALWAYS protect my face and therefore need a little enhancement in order for my face skin tone to match my body. I have been using this product for years. You can use almost daily and doesn't make you look orange or have that "self-tan smell".

Quick Take: natural glow, healthy looking
This product gives a beautiful warm glow that I wear all year round. In the winter I'm careful to not let the color build-up too much and look obvious. I've tried many similar products, but this is the one I get compliments on.

I have been using this product for a while. I love that I can apply it, no other make up and look like I have been in the sun. It evens out my skin tones and gives a healthy color all day. Not orange but a little bit golden. Love it.

This is one of many great products that Clarins offers. I like it because it gives me this subtle tanned look and a healthy glow. I use just a little bit on my face. It gives you an all year round healthy glow, if you desire. I think a person just looks more alive when glowing. Overall a great product.

This is a product I cannot live without. I find that I dont have to use as much concealer or foundation - or any at all on some days. This provides a great overall glow and subtle tan.

this product is great! this is the second bottle i have used and i am still as happy with it as i was when i first got it. it is very subtle... just keeps me from looking pasty and gives that slight summer glow. i swear nobody will think it is self tanner. it really just looks like you have a leftover tan from a couple of weeks ago. i never complete these reviews, but this one deserves it. i have found the answer!

Love this stuff! Wish I found it sooner. Really does give you a sunkissed glow. Been using it everyday for about 2 weeks. No problems with any irritation or break outs. Will definitely re-order.

only giving it one star because it should come with the recommendation that it's not for olive skin (even light olive skin which is what i have). i got no color from this whatsoever. regular self tanners make me look like i've been to capri and back but i got nothing out of this one. for those with lighter skin, it is light, absorbs quickly and had an ok smell in my opinion.

Quick Take: natural, subtle
I wanted something very subtle and light, and this fit my requirements perfectly. I've been using it before bed either by itself or over my regular moisturizer. It is a rather small bottle but I've found a little bit goes a long way. The smell is nice, especially compared to other self-tanners I've tried, and I don't even notice it after a little while. The next day I have just a touch of color, and if I use it daily the color builds slightly. So far, I have not had a problem with uneven application - I just blend well and avoid my hairline and eyebrows. If you're looking for a subtle, natural glow, this is a great choice. I have normal/combination skin and it tends to be a bit sensitive, but I haven't broken out or had any bad reactions.

This gel gives you just the perfect glow, not too much not too little. Perfect to use it all year round, especially winter. It dries fast so you can continue putting your make up after 15 minutes. I've been using it for 6 years... I love it!

Quick Take: easy to apply, natural look
I truly believe that this Clarins self tanner is the best you can buy for your face and it's worth every penny. I apply it on my face every other day in the winter, fall and spring months to keep my light complexion from looking too ghostly pale. :) It is super easy to apply and never leaves streaks - just make sure to take a cotton ball or tissue and wipe along your hairline after applying. It smells a little bit like coffee to me, which isn't my favorite, but it's not bad either. It leaves my skin nice and soft and it has never made me break out (and I am prone to cystic acne when I use the wrong products.)

this is one of my essentials. i use it everyday and my face has a great glow to it - soft, natural with a hint of self-tanner that never looks orange or bronzy. i find it helps to even out discolorations and my skin always feels very smooth after applying it. no sunscreen in the product so be sure to use one!

Quick Take: bronzer
I don't understand how people can write a bad review for a product without first reading the description. This is not a regular bronzer. It builds color gradually and as a result the overall look is more natural. I love it because I can control how dark I get. I have light olive skin and after a week I get this wonderful light golden glow that it really looks like I spent my weekend sunbathing. I think the product does deliver what it says it does. It is pricey but I guess you pay for what you get. I've been using this product for the past six years and I will continue to do so. You only need a small amount and you only put it on the areas where the sun naturally hits you, avoiding the area close to the hairline. Other than that I can not see how it wouldn't work for anyone with light skin. For people with darker skin I would recommend a darker bronzer. If you ask for a sample make sure they give you enough for a week since the color does not develop right away.
