This product is fantastic. Professional chemical peels are not something that is in my beauty budget, and this product is an affordable substitute. I have been using this product for 3 years, and my skin always looks better after. I use the pads on my face, neck, chest and cleavage, shoulders and even the backs of my hands. It gently and effectively removes dead skin and evens skin tone and texture. Love these pads.

Quick Take: works fast, effective
Started using this product a week ago and it has dramatically changed the appearance and condition of my skin. I have adult acne and these have helped to get rid of the small blackheads and brightened up my skin. Highly recommend it.

It's too early to tell if this product works well. I decided to try it in place of the Origins fruit acid pads. But the pads are very thin and wet and also do not leave your skin as if you used a peel. Some may think that's a good thing, but I like the feel ofa fresh exfoliant . This doesn't really do that. It is slightly drhdrying after the wetness is soaked up, need moisturizer rigright away.

Quick Take: gentle, great smelling
It's so gentle and feels great. It's less harsh than the one minute peel so if you're looking for just a little something that's even easier to use this is excellent.

I've been using these pads for about a month now, and have been happy with the results. My skin is smoother and looks healthier - I've been able to go days without feeling the need to wear foundation or concealer. I used a pad nightly until my skin started looking better, and now use one every other night (just to stretch out the product and save $).
The pad does leave a bit of an oily residue on my skin, but I haven't experienced any breakouts or excessive oiliness as a result. Due to that oily residue feeling, I incorporated this product into my nighttime routine; it doesn't bother me at all while I sleep.
I highly recommend these pads if you're looking to exfoliate and improve the look of your skin!

Quick Take: amazing
I absolutely love this product. It was recommended to me over a year ago by the lady who did my wedding day makeup, and these pads have really helped improve the overall look of my skin. I cut them in half (to make them last longer!) and wipe one over my face every night after cleansing. They do a great job of making my skin softer and more even-toned, and they have even helped to fade years-old acne scars. Anything that can do that gets my vote! When my first tub ran out, I went to get more at a nearby Sephora and was told that they no longer carried this product. Rather than thinking to look online instead, I purchased the Peter Thomas Roth version, which I absolutely hated. I am back with Philosophy now and very happy!!
Anyone who is having trouble seeing results with these might want to try using one each day. I know that if I used it just a couple of times per week, I probably wouldn't be seeing the results that I am.

I have noticed fewer breakouts since using daily. I did not have any reaction with my skin. As others noted there is plenty of product on each pad. I use on face and neck.

As previous reviewers mentioned, each pad comes highly saturated, enough to wipe all over my face and neck. It did leave a residual sticky feeling, but applying moisturizer afterwards resolved this issue. I have been using this product 2-3 times per week for a few weeks now and I don't believe it has done much for my skin. I didn't feel any tingling sensations as I would have expected, but perhaps that alone does not prove the effectiveness of the product. I have combination skin which is acne prone. I was hoping that this product would help clear dirt/debris and dead skin off the surface so that my pores stay clear and I can reduce the amount of acne on my face. I don't see dramatic improvements but perhaps it just doesn't work for me. I think what it did accomplish is that my face feels a bit softer.

Quick Take: balancing skin perfecter
I first started using the Mini Peel Pads about a year ago. They are simply wonderful. I usually use these every day after cleansing and toning. After applying the product to the face make sure to still put on your moisturizer! (I use the Origins Starting Over age rewind with mimosa). The combination makes my skin feel so flawless and smooth. My makeup goes on better and lasts longer... it just makes my makeup look better all together (smooth and touchable). Winter months- these are good for extra exfoliation for dry parts of your face. It is not drying at all. Helps the skin drink up your moisturizer and protects the skin from outdoor cold. Summer Months- great exfoliation for skin that has break outs or other issues in hot weather. Helps tone down any oiliness in my skin. I used these as one of my staple skin care products for so long, and I also tried the First Aid Beauty peel pads (WHICH WERE AWFUL so I immediately went back to the Philosophy ones) I can't imagine not using this product. Overall I know I will definitely re-purchase because it makes my problem skin balanced, smooth, and glowing. I would give it more stars if I could!! Highly recommend for any one whose skin gets a few breakouts a month, is oily yet dry in some patches, or for anyone who simply wishes for glowing healthy looking skin.!

Wasn't What I Expected

I originally bought these pads to help exfoliate my skin, especially the dry spots. After using these for about a week, I saw no changes. My skin still had dry spots that were flaking off. These pads did not exfoliate my skin at all. The only positive comments for these pads from me were that they were very saturated and smelled pretty nice.

I chose this product after using dr Denis Gross original formula, because it was cheaper. This product feels milder and I use it once every two or three days which has been helpful in maintaining even skin tone. As many people pointed out, the pads are small and very saturated. I use these pads only to spread the product over the skin. After about 20, 30 seconds, I use a separate cotton pad to wipe / gently peel the dead skin off. I find this method to be very effective.

Lightens Genetically Dark Elbows

Both my father and my younger sister have gentically dark elbows. I bought this for both of them and within the week both their elbows were significantly lighter. It really is amazing for that. I used some on my face but did not really find that much of a difference though I liked it better than their acne pad.

These pads smell kind of citrusy and they feel nice on the face. But, it seemed like I was just wiping my face with lemon water - there seemed to be no effect at all. I was expecting tingling or *something*. For the price theres really no effect at all. Even though its a mild peel, theres no stinging at all either to let you know that its doing something.

I love these peel pads! They give my skin a tingling clean feeling after I use them! There is a slight sticky residue for a few minutes but it goes away. I took the advice of other ladies and cut the pads in half to make them last longer, there is plenty of product in just half a pad!
