Quick Take: travel size
I wanted something basic and compact for my purse. This turned out to be too compact - it sacrificed too much on quality/usefulness for a very small footprint. Although very inexpensive (I got it on sale for under $3), I opted for a slightly bigger set for $16 because the brushes would clearly apply the powders in a more natural shape.

I found this brush set in the sale section at my Sephora store and I think I got a good deal. I would have spent a lot more buying just one brush for eye shadow, but now I have a set for much less. My only complaint would be the size of the largest brush isn't really big enough for blush, so I'm not sure I'll use that one

There is nothing about this set that I like. I travel quite a bit and thought this would come in handy but this is one kit that is staying home. The texture of the brushes is unpleasant and the handles are too short to be of any use.

When I ordered these brushes I thought they were bigger! They are quite small and the bristles are too soft. I was expecting them to be somewhat firm and they are not! I can't even use them.....

what did i expect for 3 bucks. three smaller brsuhes made of decent quality bristles. largest brush is low quality bristle (at best). top of plastic case falls off when in my make up bag, wouldn't buy again

Quick Take: full set, good value, travel size, convenient, handy
This is such a great value set. You really can't beat the price, and if you know what you're doing, you can bend these brushes to your will and come up with plenty of fabulous looks. Like other reviewers have stated, the brushes ARE very soft, so you have to be a little creative when using them, but they are absolutely useable and SO compact. I have two of them in my makeup bag, and I love them to bits. They're such a convenience for touch-ups especially- who has room to lug around all their big brushes? Not me.

After ordering one set & seeing how handy it was, I ordered 2 more! You just can't beat the sale price! I don't carry a large purse, but because of the compactness of this set, I'm now able to have a full set of makeup brushes with me at all times! I keep one set in my purse, one in my travel vanity case & the other in my desk drawer. Don't misunderstand what you're getting: the handles are VERY TINY, but the only brush in this set that really isn't full-sized is the blush/powder brush. Aside from the little handles, the others are of a comparable size to my regular makeup brushes.

I was on holiday and ran out of q-tips to apply my eyeshadow, so I purchased this Mini Brush Set - overall it worked but for every day use it would not be helpful since I only used one of the five brushes included. I did, however, keep it in my travel bag for next time and may need one of the other brushes later? ...I hope! It was worth the price.

The set is practical, it all fits in the clear box about the size of a lipstick, but I broke two of the brushes the first time I used them, so I cannot recommend, even at 3$.
