Quick Take: easy to use
This is a great self-tanning product that is quite different from others. First, the consistency is just like water instead of a lotion. It is the color of hot chocolate, so you can see exactly where you put it and how much to apply. I sometimes use just a little of this bronzer on the weekends instead of makeup, and it looks great.

Great skin brightener

This is one of my favorite year round products. I have fairly pale, semi blemished skin and I have not found a better product to brighten up my skin without causing it to beak out. Worth every penny!

Great self tanner

Quick Take: absorbs quickly, tans easily
This is a great self tanner for the face and neck. I always exfoliate first and apply before bed. This dries quickly and evenly after application. It usually lasts for a few days after just one application. If I want the color deeper, I just apply on consecutive days. I have tried others and this is, by far, the best.

Enjoy what I see so far

Quick Take: realistic
Just started using this product. I have fair skin so I was very concerned that the tan would look fake or obvious that I had applied a self tanner. On first application I have a realistic looking base tan.
It doesn't feel sticky. There is a mild cocunut scent.
I apply with a makeup sponge. There is no color to the cream so you should try to remember where it has been applied. That being said I am sure that I did some parts of my body 2 X and I don't believe that one section is significantly darker than another.

It's ok but it is not a fitting replacement for Clinique's now discontinued face self-tanner which I've been desperately seeking. It's lightweight and has just a hint of that self-tanner scent. It didn't give me that much color though. That was the disappointing part. It will be good to use in the fall/winter months when too much of a tan would look awkward. Overall, the search for my ideal self-tanner continues...

i found this had a very strong self tanning smell especially the next day. yuk.
i also thought it gave me a bit too much of a self tan.
would've liked it to be a little more gradual.
but it didn't irritate my skin.

this stuff makes me look like i just got up the yacht in ST. tropez, beautiful color...wish it wasn't as $$ but a little bit goes a long way especially if this is for the face etc..the best getting another bottle in case they discontinue it....lets cross our fingers!!!!!

Clarins - Cleopatra in a bottle

Working in cosmetics, I have tried my fair share of bronzing serums, lotions, enhancers and moisturizers. I now work an office job and need something to enhance my skin, without looking fake and without taking too much time. The Clarins "Liquid Bronze," is really great because of its silky nature (it lasts forever) and it's effect. I put this on usually every 3rd night under my regular moisturizer and it gives my face that talked about "glow" (the most-used word in the cosmetic dictionary). It never leaves an orange look and is subtle yet noticeable at the same time. However, I wouldn't recommend for those with darker or already tanned skin. It also evens out my skin tone and gives the added benefit of making my skin feel baby soft.

AMAZING FOR FACE!

I have been upset ever since Clinique has discontinued their “Face Self-Tanning Formula” and replaced it with “Self Sun Face Tinted Lotion”. I used this face self tanner for years and years. Since then I have been testing many different face self tanners at Sephora and this is my FAVORITE by far! I have tried the Dior Bronze Self Tanner Natural Glow Face, Mystic spray and lotion, and Lancome Flash Bronzer and this beats them all! This is even better than the Clarins cream-gel face tanner which is much more expensive. I can not say enough good things about it. It is the perfect bronze color (not orange or mud brown), it has no awful odor since it only smells of baby powder, and it has no tint so you don’t get your clothes or sheets discolored. Perfect! I use it at night before bed a couple times a week and wake up with sun kissed look. I never though I would find another amazing self tanner. Here it is!

Thought I would like it..

I've used some kind of Clarins facial tanner before, but so long ago I forgot what product it exactly was, so bought this thought it looked like what I was looking for, and had fab reviews. Well I used this a couple days in a row, and it went on really well, I like that it is a thin lotion, and so rubs in really well. But after 3 applications (2 one day and then another the next) I didn't look any different except my forehead looked MAYBE SLIGHTLY darker, if I looked really hard for any changes. So clarins, I'm slightly dissapointed because the product I used prior worked well and gave my face nice color. And I only have medium skin tone :( So I thought it would work better. So I am going to keep applying daily, maybe with continued use will build up and get some shades darker? Hopefully!

I absolutely love this as a facial tanner. I did not have much luck with the Clarins tanning gel but I got this in the gift set and it works wonders! It looks so natural on my face. A pretty light tan glow! LOVE IT! And one application lasts for a few days! I apply with a cotton ball. Also the smell is fine and it makes my skin feel so soft! THIS is a WINNER!

This stuff is great! Doesn't have that weird sickly,sweet tanning smell that a lot of others have and dries quickly. I use this stuff for my face legs and arms. A little goes a long way and it's hard to screw up. I apply it with large gauze pads for legs and arms. A little more expensive than I'd like, but works and smells great!

This product goes on easily and results in a nice color, but it is a white creme and I have been struggling a bit in order to obtain coverage that is not to little or too much in specific areas resulting in an uneven tan.
