I really love the smell of this product- it's light and citrusy. It also has scrubby exfoliant beads. Now I don't find it to be super foamy, I use it on my Clarisonic MIA and I feel it does a very good job of removing makeup and cleaning my skin. I'm not certain if it has really improved anything on my face and for the price I expect results. I alternate between this and Bliss Fabulous Foaming Facewash (My absolute FAVE)

Quick Take: gel like with slight foam
I've been using this cleanser for years now and love it. I use a washcloth first to loosen make-up, especially eyes and use the cleanser all over. Then, I wipe off with more warm water on the same washcloth. I have very sensitive eyes and even some eye make-up remover bothers me but not this. I like using one cleanser for both. I really like how clean my face is and the glow after cleansing.

Quick Take: foamy, milky, exfoliating
This is my favorite cleanser. It's a bit pricey but trust me a little goes a long way. I will do an update once I run out to let everyone know just how long it last. It doesn't produce a lot of suds which is a good sign. If anything ask one of the workers for a sample, You love it. My face always feels so soft and fresh after I wash my fresh. I have sensitive skin so I have to watch for product that are over drying.

Quick Take: foamy
My number one cleanser. I currently use the whole Murad Essential -C line. I always look forward to washing my face with this cleanser. It has a mild, citrus-like scent. Takes just a little to wash your whole face and it gives an instant glow.
Would definitely recommend.

Foamy cleansing, light citrus scent

Quick Take: foamy, citrus scent, refreshing
This is a nice, not-too-rich, foamy, citrus-scented cleanser with tiny exfoliating beads (you barely notice them, not sure why they're in there). I loved the scent, quite refreshing, and the lather is excellent. Unfortunately this stung my skin and broke me out and I had to return it, but honestly I'm not always great with topical forms of Vit C. (I can take it in pill form no problem, but Vit C skin products sometimes disagree with my skin.) That's not a reflection on this wash's cleansing ability, just the only reason why I can't give it five stars. It didn't strip my dry skin too much, just slightly drying for a lather cleanser, and I think for anyone with normal or especially combo skin would adore this. Good quality product, quite sorry it didn't work for me. PS: the teeny tiny exfoliating beads are pointless, so don't plan on getting this for real exfoliation. The beads are few and far between, and they're not soft, they kind of feel like tiny pieces of plastic randomly floating around in there.

Favorite Cleanser

Quick Take: gentle, concentrated, refreshing
I've been using department store skincare since I was in my 20's. This cleanser is by far my favorite. It not only cleanses my skin and removes makeup it conditions my skin and gives it a radiant glow I haven't gotten with any other cleanser. I have dry skin and this cleanser is not too harsh or drying. It might be a little pricey but a little goes a long way.

I feel like my skin is glowing and brighter after 2 weeks of use. It is not harsh or over drying, and has not created breakouts used on my combination skin. It smells great, and my skin feels really soft to the touch. I use it in conjunction with a Murad moisturizer.

Essential-C Cleanser is a great, gentle cleanser for my sensitive skin. The citrus scent is fresh and invigorating, and a little dollop 'goes a long way.' However, the price is a bit steep considering there are numerous other cleansers available that deliver similar results.

Quick Take: smells so fresh, leaves skin clean but not dry
I use to use this and stopped, not sure why b/c it's really very good! I just got it agaiin and started using it, it seems a tad bit different than it use to be, less bead'y things in the cleanser that use to feel like they scrubbed you, but it's still really good. It's pretty gentle and I have oily skin, so I use this once a day and the Clarifying Cleanser from Murad the other time and that is a nice balance of deep cleaning and gentle. I would reccomend this cleanser for any type of skin.

I used this and while it didn't strip my skin, it also never left my skin that smooth either. I've bought a different brand now that I love. This product was too pricey for the results I didn't get.

This is my new go-to cleanser. I tried it in Murad's Sun Undone kit and ordered the full size when i used up the little one. The smell is fresh and uplifting. Feels revitalizing with my Clarisonic brush. Skin is left clean, hydrated, and toned. Vitamin C is such a wonderful thing for your skin. I recommend the whole line!

Cleans Without Leaving the Skin Tight

Murad Seential-C Cleanser is an excellent cleanser. It cleans my skin really well; after I use it, my skin feels really clean and all my makeup is gone, yet my skin still feels soft. You know how some cleansers removes dirt but your skin ends up feeling squeaky and tight? Well, none of that feeling with this cleanser. A funny thing is I loaned this cleanser to my mother when we were traveling together, and she liked it so much that she took it home with her. Now, I'd better go get another tube.
