Quick Take: super
Don't waste your time or money on drugstore sharpeners - this is the ONE. I have "revived" older items I was sure were dead, all cleanly and neatly. This is a winner.

This is such a easy to use nice and easy pencil. I even love how long it stays on at least a day of work, if you are going out you might want to freshen it up. I really enjoy it and I really wanna get more colors :)

Works well with Makeup For Ever lip liner soft pencil. I didn't waste as much trying to sharpen the lip liner pencil with this sharpener.

Quick Take: worth the cost
The MUFE waterproof pencils were breaking and getting mangled in my old sharpener. I was starting to wonder why they were so fragile, then I read a review recommending this sharpener. It helped even better than putting pencil in the freezer.

Quick Take: what you need if you use mufe pencils
I bought several MUFE lip liner pencils quite some time ago and just did not want to buy ANOTHER sharpener. But after finally realizing that other sharpeners just do not do well with these soft pencils, I broke down and bought the MUFE sharpener. And it works so MUCH better, does not break my expensive pencils, gives a good point.

I LOVE this sharpener! It works wonders and I haven't broken a single pencil since Ive stated using it! Nothing bad to say but I do wish it was more colorful (but it has a nice professional look which looks great too!)

Quick Take: sharp, easy to use, not wasteful, effective
I originally went with Urban Decay's sharpener because it had such great reviews. But it didn't last long and wasted several of pencils. This one is not only cheaper, but I've had it over a year and it's still going strong. It also saves you money by preserving your pencils!

great if you want a blunt tip

I bought this because of all the great reviews, but after receiving the sharpener I am totally confused by them. While the sharpener sharpens and turns like butter & the shavings case is great, it's all in vain if doesn't sharpen to a point. It actually has a piece of plastic which purposefully blunts the tip and prevents you from ever being able to sharpen it to a point. if I could break it out easily I would, but I can't, so this is going back. (Although, I'd love to just throw it in the trash!!)

Quick Take: worth the price
Never thought I would buy an eight dollar sharpener but I am so glad I did. When I sharpen my pencil it doesn't waste the pencil and works very well for even my softest pencils. A lot of the one start reviews say that it doesn't sharpen to a very, very sharp point, but when other sharpeners make a pointy end it wastes tons of product... I love this product and recommend it!

I bought two of these, one for me and one as a gift for my niece who is getting a set of MUFE pencils for Christmas.
Obviously she hasn't tested hers yet but I've used mine on a variety of pencils with very good results. It worked great on the Too Faced anti-feathering lip pencil which is a monster to sharpen without breaking or losing tons of product. I got similarly good results with an Urban Decay thick concealer pencil--better than the Urban Decay sharpener. The one thing it didn't sharpen "better" was Urban Decay eyeliners; they do better in an Urban Decay sharpener.
I wish it came with a little stick, like some sharpeners do, to help get excess product out of the barrels. Other than that, I love it.

I have never used such an effective sharpener before! I love the two sizes for bigger eyeliner and pencils. The blades are sharp enough to keep the pencil going for long time.

Good Sharpener Under 10 Bucks!!

Quick Take: easy to use, clean sharpened pencil liners, good for the price
Although I'm sort of a cheap-o with tools, I'm glad I bought this sharpener for $8. I was tired of using small sharpeners that cost 2 or 3 dollars for them to break, not sharpen well, or (biggest peeve) waste majority of the pencil just for the point to fall out. MUFE sharpener is wonderful! This one stops whenever you are done sharpening and gives a nice, fresh point to work with. I also love how it has two different sizes for various pencil liners. Works well with high-end and drug store pencils. Highly recommend.

Quick Take: sharp, conserves product
This is by far the best sharpener I've come across. It's super sharp and sharpens easily without wasting any product. A full turn or two is all you need to sharpen up any pencil again.
Loses one star as the lid is not as secure as I would have liked; it ended up opening in my makeup bag and unfortunately I hadn't emptied it after use (I learnt my lesson there!).
