this was so hard to apply..it tans instantly and is impossible to get off your hands. It also turns into this stick thick mess as you rub it in, doesnt dry well, and get onto your clothes and sheets. What I do is I bought the faux tan moisturizer,which works really well, and put a small amount mixed in with that. It just boosts up the color of the moisturizer a bit more and still looks naural, makes it easier to apply because it doesnt dry as quickly, gives you more time to make sure everthing is even.

Best Self-tanner ever used!

I have tried every self-tanning formula made it seems; from $8 drugstore buys to $60 department brands and this one is by far the best one I have came across. I have been using self-tanner for over 8 years now and since I started I have been searching desperately for a self-tanner that doesn't do that horrible flaking and peeling when your skin is doing its natural exfoliating and this one I have to say is the best. Although the product doesn't last as long as I wish it would, so I apply it about every 3 days or so to keep my tan going. With other products I have used I would have to do a massive exfoliation between applications to minimize the flaky/peely effect from happening, not with this one. It hydrates and doesn't have that horrible odor some have. The smell is plesant and fades away within 30 minutes. It dries quickly too so don't worry about wearing white after applications...best thing to do is apply when you are getting ready to go out and by the time the hair and make-up are done, the lotion is completely dry and won't transfer onto clothes. I rave about this product to anyone I see down the self-tanning isles in stores and I highly recommend it to everyone. I bought a bottle about 2 weeks ago and I still have about 3-4 full body applications left. *Be warned: either wear gloves when you apply this or wash your hands after doing a section of your body. The best way I have found to wash your hands with 1/2 soap, 1/2 whitening toothpaste*

Wow!

I have always had a hard time with fake tan in a can (or bottle in this case) I would always end up looking like a brown zebra with all the stripes I would give myself. This as usual for BE rocks the casba! It worked great!

Trick for stained hands!

This is the most fantastic self tanning product available. The biggest complaint is that it does tan your hands almost immediately while you apply it. The trick to getting this off, if you dont want to use gloves, it to use a whitening toothpaste to wash your hands immediately after you finish applying it. I usually wash twice, just to make sure. Trust me, this works!

"I LOVE your tan"

Quick Take: saving my skin!
That's what people say now. Last summer people saw me sitting outside all of the time and I got the usual "You will get skin cancer" comments. A friend introduced me to this product and I used it prior to my daughter's wedding! It looked so natural everyone thought it was! And I felt so confident! I love this stuff! Only one thing would make it better ~ A larger size bottle!
Oh, and my cat likes it to (she licks my legs after I put it on but because of the ingredients, she's fine!)

NOT JUST FOR TANNING

Quick Take: a great multitasker, not just a tanner anymore
I buy this several bottles at a time as I have stopped frying my skin (my youthful sun worship is showing now) in the Louisiana sun. I also use it on my face. I am a nurse and began thinking that since hair is keratinized cells just like skin, maybe it would "tan" my gray roots. Ladies, this stuff works like a dream for those in-between roots, especially if you're like me with dark roots and either blonde or read hair. It just colors the grays and makes them less noticeable, washing out after a few shampoos. Totally natural looking, easy to apply and doesn't take a lot. I put mine on with a brush like a Kabuki or full flawless face brush. No muss, no fuss, no transfer onto clothing. A miracle. No sharp deliniation where your last foil job ended. No silver glow at the root line. What more can you ask.

FAKE TAN THAT LOOKS NATURAL!!!

I have tried just about everything on the market for sunless tanning products--this by far is the best. No orange color--the tan looks healthy and real!!! You must apply with gloves or you will stain your hands. While it is $22 a bottle, bare escentuals have perfected this product. Also after 3 days it does start to wear off so you must reaply after 2-3 days to keep it going. You will love this product!

Better ones out there, this is a waste of $$$

This product is soooo hard to get off your hands, it tans them almost instantly. The color gets on whatever you get near your skin, I would wait for it to dry (took forever) and still it would wind up on my sheets and pillow (I used it before going to bed a couple of nights) and any blouse I wore. What I did like is that you can see where you are applying it, and has a pleasent smell.

every summer I just burn in the sun - I wish I could tan but this is the next best thing to it. Yes you have to be careful how you put it on but when I wake up in the morning I have great color to my skin and coworkers ask if I've been out in the sun (shush) Why yes : )

I've read the reviews from many reviewers who have use different self-tanners over the years, I guess we all have to play hit or miss!! Everyone's skin type is different so what works for one may not for another. I have found the very best for me and will never use anything else now. Faux tan very natural looking. It is easy to use because you can see the color going on - which also makes it easy to avoid streaks. Like other reviewers, I do wear gloves and I also apply a little moisturizer to knees and elbows before applying. After trying many self-tanners myself, this is the best for me. I'm very happy with this product!

This is the best tanning cream I have tried yet. I like how it goes on a weird green color because you can easily blend it and make sure you don't miss any spots. The color is very natural looking. I don't have any problem with streaking or blotchiness.

I like this product. It is fairly easy to apply and the color really is tan, not orange. The only downsides are the price (expensive for such a small bottle), if you're fair like me it takes a lot to see results, and it does have a slight smell.

I used this product on my legs last night (my arms are pretty tan and I figured it's easier to hide my legs if it doesn't turn out well). I'm very very fair skinned with blue eyes and this worked great. I left the product on for an hour and then hopped in the shower since I was a little nervous of getting tooo much color. It gave me a natural color with no streaks/blotching. I will try this for a couple of days in a row until I get the color I want since I am still a little hesitant. I only gave it four stars since I don't know how long it will last and if it will fade evenly. Oh, and I lathered my hands up with 45 spf lotion for applying and the product washed out very easily.

This self tanner is the absolute best. I have tried everything; gradual tanning lotions, Mystic, other self tanners. I love the way it gives a natural tan, goes on evenly and most importantly, smells great!
