It is long lasting and easy to use. Not as long as a waxy crayon or paste but gives you better control for a sparse or heavier look. Even the auburn shade is darker on than expected. Easy to sharpen to a point.

I can't make up my mind about this pencil. I bought this brand because it came in brown/black, which is not that easy to find. The color is what I wanted, but the pencil is not at all waxy like most eyebrow pencils, so it's hard to use it with just the right light touch.

I'm new to eyebrow pencils and after trying a few drug store brands I was just about ready to give up, I'm so glad this one was brought to my attention! It glides so easily and smooth, whether your stroking or gliding.

I have jet black hair and recently colored it copper red. I needed a color for my brows that complemented my hair and No 3 is perfect. Blends naturally with dark brows.

I love MAKE UP FOR EVER, but this pencil didn't do it for me. I have oily skin, so that may impact my review - but it didn't go on cleanly for me. Not a good product for me personally.

I bought this pencil because I have really dark eyebrows and I have a light red hair. This pencil has helped me lighten my eyebrows so they match my hair color better. Its long lasting and very easy to apply.

The dreaded broken lead

Quick Take: fragile, breaks easy
Make Up For Ever, normally one of my favorite brands, has really failed me on this one. No matter which sharpener I tried I could not get a truly sharp tip on this pencil because the lead would break off at the base, like the old drug store cheapie ones would on occasion a zillion years ago. The color is PERFECT and I like the dryness of the pencil, but I wasted half the pencil just trying to sharpen it and I'll never be able to use it.

i love this eyebrow pencil and i think this is far the best i have tried in my entire life. the color is highly pigmented and this is exactly the type of brown i wanted. the only reason why i give it a 4 star is that it can easily smudge off especially when you get a little sweaty. it's okay though coz product says it's just water resistant and NOT WATER PROOF

I love this brow pencil so much! I just bought it last week and I'm already in love with how it makes my eyebrows look. It's very easy to apply, and it makes great sharp lines. It's also a wonderful texture, not too creamy, but not too powdery. Perfect for brows! I got mine in the color "brown black" which is perfect for me because my hair is dyed black, but my eyebrows are brown. It makes them look dark enough to match my hair, but not too dark so they don't look drawn-on. This is definitively my new favorite brow product, and I will definitively be re-purchasing it in the future! :)

I have tried many eyebrow pencils over the years, and this is the first one I have ever found that fills in my brows with the perfect color. It has an easy feathery application, so it blends in with your brow, rather than showing that you used an eye pencil. It lasts all day long, even through sweaty dance classes.

I have very dark brown hair, and I was concerned the brown the brown black 5 would be too light. But I was pleasantly surprised! It fills in my eyebrows naturally and is long lasting too. One pencil will last you a year. I love it!

I have always had a problem finding the right shade of eyebrow pencil and actually finding one that stays on. This pencil is everything I've always wanted! It's super natural and just the right shade for my dark brown eyebrows! Taupe or black brown work great! I will never have to look for the right color again! Highly recommend this product!

Classic pencil & long lasting wear, like 24hrs, if not longer. Last through swimming, sweat, and rubbing.
I hate all those fancy retractable pencils and super thin line, thier a scam and most of them are weird colors. This eyebrow pencil has an internal plastic layer between the wood & pencil color that makes it sturdy, so it doesnt break into pieces when pressure us applied.
