Indeed this lipstick has a creamy texture but if your lips are not fully exfoliated, it looks cracked. And i don't find it very long lasting.

Easy to use, great color, long lasting. Would have given it five stars but if you have dry lips it will settle into them leaving you with uneven color and frankly weird looking lips.

I am a huge pan of NARS Lip Pencils. The consistency is nice and creamy, so the color goes on smooth and evenly. The creaminess of the pencil is fairly hydrating.
The pigments are long lasting and deep and the color is similar to what you see on the pencil itself. The color also has a nice glossy shine to it.

Just got mine today in "Luxembourg" and I'm obsessed. The color payoff is amazing, super pigmented and long wearing. I prefer this formulation versus the velvet matte pencils. Definitely a better choice to purchase the satin pencils, especially if you have dry lips. Going to purchase some more colors!

When I was desperately trying to find a good lip product to wear for my wedding last month I was searching for two things: Long wearing and pigmented colors. This product is those things and more; it's glossy and creamy but has excellent staying power, which isn't often true for creamy products.
