I wanted to like this but it actually made my skin even dryer. Several hours after I put it on, my face would feel tight and along the sides of my nose and on my chin, it would start getting flaky. Also made it itch a little.

HG moisturizer in the house. I had tried quite a few (both AB and Western) and had pretty much prepared to give up and settle for whatever didn’t make me too much of an oil slick when I had suddenly went a bit nuts with my actives and needed to curb the dryness and battery acid in the face feeling. Recommendations pointed me to Dr. Jart and the Ceramidin line and despite the price tag, only one ceramide in the ingredient list (Ceramide NP), and not being available anywhere else in this particular formula, I gave it a shot.
And it hit me right in the heart for all the right reasons. It smells divoon, just the right amount sinks in perfectly, can be a boost to sleeping packs if you need some ceramidin help, and if you have a small enough spatula, it can last you a long time. I felt right as rain after several days of using this repair my moisture barrier and it’s still with me 4 jars later.
Sephora, PLEASE don’t let this leave us the way May Coop did.

I was tempted to buy this product for a while given the rave reviews I read around the net. I can’t believe people saying this is calming and hydrating. I used it only once and looked like a tomato a second later. Major contact dermatitis. I don’t have rosacea just somewhat sensitive normal skin. The scent is unpleasant it burns around the eyes and dries out my skin within a minute. Sensitive skin gals be warned this definitely is not made for you.

Good cream with brightening ingredients. But please don't add fragrance, people will 'breakout' from phototoxic dermatitis. And I did see some comments mentioned the breakouts. I could use this as a day and nighttime moisturizer if it doesn't have fragrant ingredients. Also, I noticed the lotion version of this product can have an even better brightening effect because of the additional AHA in that product. However, it is all sold out by the time I bought this product.

I didn't find it to be moisturizing enough for my mature to dry skin..it is light in texture, when I first apply it, it seems to irritate my skin, maybe the livorice !?
If you have normal to combination skin, that would work good..the texture is interesting, it is maybe in a way a gimmicky product!? Especially for the price..I wouldn't recommend it if your skin is sensitive.
