This is one of my favorite shade of nudes and I have a serious problem buying 100 different versions of this shade from just about every brand I can get my hands on. It was a great day when Bite brought back Cava in the satin lipstick formula and I snatched it right up. It's softer and creamier than the Amuse Bouche line, in my opinion and I was sad when they had originally discontinued it. However, it's creaminess is a blessing and a curse because after a few months one morning I rolled my lipstick up only to find it broken in half. I hadn't stored it in a hot place or pushed on it hard or manhandled it in any way. For that reason I would be hesitant to recommend this. The color, comfort and just overall look of this product is superb but a lipstick that just randomly breaks off at the base...not cool. :(

Cava Satin Lipstick
Although I'm paler in skin than most could imagine, my lips are a medium-deep plum color and I've always wanted something that would make my lips look naturally a lighter pink to go with my extremely fair skin. This finally does it without drying or gathering lines or making a mess. My lips color mixes with this enough to equal a perfect vibrant pale pink lip that has a natural healthy sheen and plump look. (Nothing I've been able to find and especially not in clean formulations.) I'm happy to finally have decided to try this, the Satin formula, because my lips are on the very dry side with constant need of hydration, and I thought that was the best choice for me. I will now have something other than lip balm or darker colors to use that go with my look more. I've used pretty much everything out there conventional, luxury through basement, and in the world of clean non toxic beauty equally, and the formula and wear of this, as well color payoff, is a 5 star rating for me. If you're curious, all I can say is it will depend on your lip color as a base and what the resulting color looks like mixed with that against your skin/eyes/hair. To tone down naturally pigmented lips for an honest pale girl nude pink lip, I suggest it highly. Especially if you'd rather not look so done up due to your natural lip color.

You must really like a nude lip.
Quick Take: long wearing
I thought this would have a little color. But it's super nude, and nothing at all like my natural lip. I would have to use foundation first, and then apply this. I won't do that because than I would look like a zombie. Not my look. If you like super nude, go for it.

This is the perfect nude
Quick Take: creamy, long wearing, moisturizing
I have the satin formula. This is a beautiful color and wonderful formula. I am fair with pink/neutral undertones and this shade is perfect for me. Finally...the color I have been looking for. Hope it never goes away!

WHERE HAS THIS SHADE BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!!
I'm so glad I finally decided to order this online! I was nervous to, since I've never seen the shade in person, and was really debating on whether to get the lipstick or the matte lip crayon. I decided on the matte lip crayon, since I have 4 other bite beauty lipsticks, and only one matte lip crayon in "Pastille". I also had a feeling it would be better because of posts I had seen that had swatches compared to the lipstick, it looked more pigmented, and I knew it would most likely be more long lasting. But anyway, As soon as I got it and unpackaged it, I swatched it on my hand and completely fell in love with the color! This is probably one of the most unique shades I've ever laid eyes on, it's so intriguing to look at, it's this perfect lilac mauvey nude, with almost a beige/grey undertone to it I want to say. I immediately put it on my lips and loved it even more on! I'm seriously having trouble finding the words to just describe the shade and how much I like it, haha! And just like my other matte lip crayon in "Pastille", it's super moisturizing and creamy, yet the lasting power is still amazing! I kept it on all throughout the evening, and even through eating and drinking, it still held up pretty well, a little faded, but not patchy or anything bad when it came time to take it off. And this made my lips feel so smooth and moisturized the entire time I had it on. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone! I have fair skin and was worried this would be too dark or harsh looking on me, but I honestly believe anyone, regardless of their skin tone, could pull this color off! I can already see this becoming a new favorite lip product of mine, I love it!!
